The dark room goes cold, a cylinder layout at least 40 meters wide. Covered in a thick layer of ice all around.

The large door opened wide as the cold wind inside escape in an instant, from the gate was four hunters within the high adapter ranking.

"Orion..." Anna shivered calling his name, the group wasnt expecting a dungeon floor this cold considering the floors before were a molten lava themed with fire based monsters.

Orion without much hesitation, entered the room first. His first step within triggered the built in lights to shine, lighting their battlefield with a blue atmosphere.

He unsheaths a sword and prepares his stance. "Stay close, we dont know what lies here."

Lilith chuckled seeing his change of attitude. "Look who's gotten serious~"

"Very funny, this floor has a history for being impossible to beat."

The two girls looked at him, seemingly surpised by the news. Anna quickens her pase to catch up with Orion to ask some questions.

"Is it because of a sub-boss?"

Havard replied instead, he held a large war axe across his shoulder. "The sub-boss evoled to be... human like, taking advantage of our softness to kill everyone. Originally the dungeon is a low junior dungeon to early adapter.

"It was only a few weeks ago is when someone finally came out of this dungeon alive to tell this news, rising this dungeons requiremnt ranking to be an adapter or higher by the local."

The floor suddenly started shaking, they looked behind and saw the large door close behind them.

Anna was about run for the gate when her wrist was pulled back by Havard. "Don't run for it! It's a combat trap found in boss floors."

The door closed shut as the lights changed to a light purple, a information bubble appeared in front of them.

[WELCOME TO THE INVERTED FLOOR!]

Orion looked at the status bar confused and surprised. "What the... inverted?"

Havard twisted his body, lowering his axe whilst tightening his gloves. "A rare creation that only happenes on high ranking towers and dungeons on the siberian deadzones that is only recommended for Honoured hunters or even higher.

"But this far in the english island, this is a corruption from the floors lower. We must take care of this quickly."

Orion looked aound before stepping closer to the three. "Lilith.."

"On it.." She quickly replied.

She flicked her fingers, twirling her body before erupting a circular zone filling the floor of the place with a layer of heat. the ice melting within seconds as vapour started to fill the room.

The two men prepared their stance between the supporting girls, keeping an open eye for a singular movement in front of them.

"Where are you, you disgusting inhumane monster." Orion muttered, keeping a slow circling pace with havard around lilith and Anna.

"Orion, the fog.." lilith stutter.

"Keep it up, it lives in a icy world alone, its not like it'll last long in the heat."

".... It's freezing again." She muttered.

His movements stopped, slowly turning to her. His face as pale as ice. "... Your kidding..."

"BEHIND YOU!!" Havard shouted in an instant as the cold vapour behind Orion froze and formed a human like monster. Holding a spear about to kill him.

Though Orion is an adapter, he wasn't fast enough to evade the attack, hitting his left arm. He dashed backwords to lessen the overall strike to a deep cut rather than a a complete loss of his arm at the same time escaping the spears line of attack.

It quickly dashed out of their view as its attack failed.

'HIs movment really takes advantage of the human body..' He thought, standing back up gripping the sword tightly.

"Keep a distance, shoot anything that moves within the fog of war. lilith, burn everything down, havard don't let it even get any close to the girls."

He twirls the sword in his hand and prepares an offensive stance. "Don't hesitate." Muttering to himself before before vanishing into the fog.

Havard let out a loud roar twisting the pole of the axe behind him. "You heard the man, shoot everything on site and burn these ice down!"

'Where are you, monster... show yourself!' Orion seeminly disappeared into the vapour, stopping near the one of many cylinders beside the walls.

'It can disappear into the vapour, is it made out of the water partices?'

'That would mean it's nearly impossible to kill it, unless...'

He looks around the walls, the layer of ice is thick enough where a regular person could be within and theres still inches of ice left between.

"It had to be in full body to attack, maybe thats its weakness."

"ORION!!' Harvards voice could be heard, he quickly raised a fire resistant barrier when suddenly the monster was sprinting at him full speed.

'Your kidding! At this moment!?' He looked at his side and saw it reaching ground quickly decreasing his fire defense to block the strike.

*BOOOMMM!!!!

A loud explosion of fire erupts the whole room red, the ice was in an instant boiled before it could melt.

The previously white vapour turned black as any source of oxygen was suddenly gone with the flame.

[There seems to be a diappearance of oxygen within, forced opening of the previous floor gate is required.]

The gate behind soon opens as the flames disapear into the new air. The three quickly left gasping for air.

Lilith quick looked around scanning everything possible. "Where's Orion?"

The fog slowly cools down as it lightens up, the room could be seen fully.

At the end of the room was Orion, holding his sword prepared for attack.

Anna and Havard slowly stood and looked at the scene with her. "It's, still alive?" Anna look at the monster still standing in front of Orion in fear, from their experience nothing had lived against Liliths ultimate suicide move.

Havard looked at her. "No doubt, guess it is an anomaly from the high ranking dungeons."

"Guess it shouldn't be a surprise, barely five minutes and you two told me to gamble our lives on a suicide fire attack.

"Maybe we could've injured it more if you two weren't lunatics to think-"

Anna quickly cuts her off. "We get it Lilith, stop it. Your making Hav here question his rank as a high adapter you know."

She seems surprised before turning at him and saw him burying his high adapter badge into the rocky groung.

"..... ouh..." She tries to keep a straight face but her ears folding downwards says otherwise.

Anna sighs, slowly walking back into the room. "Look Lilith, you're the most unique out of all of us. First your magic alone is literally an honoured ranked, second is that your a half human and the closest to Orion." She said, her use of words were rather, jealousy.

"Well, guess whos been there during his lowest when you only care to give him presents with youor wealth and not help him during times at his home." She replied quickly in response.

"can you two just be quiet..."

"Just because you're from the same poverty zone with him doesn't mean he'll pick you as his bride~"

"Why would a sane person like him marry someone who just wants to spoil him with your money?"

"At least he'll get everything he always wanted!"

"Everything should be gained from tough hardwork!"

While the two were arguing, a loud explosion shakes the place from where the two fighters once were.

"uhh... less talking, more on saving Orion" Lilith concluded as Anna agreed, sprinting to the battlefield preparing their weapons and spells.

"Knotted!" Anna shouted, as they could see Orion quickly dashing out of the explosion of dirt.

Lilith twists her body making fire erupt from her hands and spread out like whips slashing the blind zone.

"Over there!" Orion called out, spotting the monster hopping backwards away and sprinted to Lilith.

*PHEW

The arrow was shot as it flew across, flying just inches to far from it.

Lilith flicks her arm above her, forming a barrioer of fire in front of her but is wasn't enough as it sprints through before it could finsih and punched her flying across the room.

"Sh#T!" Anna grabs another arrow from behind, about to knot it when the monster without a second of delay pierced her stomach with a ice pole made in an instant.

She coughed out blood, but knotted the arrow and shot the monster point blank range, setting it flying with a crack on its head.

"Anna!"

"Focus on the monster.... it's not too.. f-fatal..." She attempts to stand up but her legs were shaking.

He took a second and shook his head sprinting to the where the monster was second ago.

"Havard! Where are you!" Orion shouted, he only saw where lilith and Anna are, unable too see him.

"..... your..." He looked at where the gate it, his expression unable to say what he sees.

"..... Harvard... w-what...." He slowly raised his sword close, tightening his grip on it.

"Sorry... I didnt know he was... so.... inportant...?"

He looked at it, prepared to rush it. "So now your going to speak.... monster?"

".... Let's... fight.... dead..."

"Till the death?" He chuckled, slowly stepping closer to it. "i don't plan to leave you alive."

".... so.... do I..."

"..... Orion....."

"Don't disappoint me....."
