Frost's Greed (Marvel)

Everyone follows Xavier, the idealist. Everyone worships Magneto, the extremist. None dare to disrespect Apocalypse, the militarist. But what about the final of the big 4. The one who has lost their students at every turn. The one that walks down the darkest path and is unwilling to put their faith in none outside of their circle of trust. The one that cares not about how humans view mutants nor about the infighting of others. Whose only true care is for the students. This is not a story about her but about a student of hers that believes in her ideas and teachings. Not about peaceful coexistence or mutant supremacy or survival of the fittest. To strive for a brighter tomorrow, even if they have to make it through the blackest night. This is the story of one boy following learning how to be a mutant in a world that hates him under the teachings of the White Queen. He will go from an inexperienced kid to one of the most important mutants in the world ------------ I'm guaranteeing this story for a year, averaging a chapter per day (major holidays may get no chapter or more chapters.) This means that this will be my longest and most secure story, and hopefully the best, on the site. *Warnings! Warnings! Warnings!* - This takes place in an AU of Marvel. So while most things will remain similar to what most people are familiar with, there will be some changes (Some characters being mutants or mutates, etc) - He will start off weak power-wise. He will become very powerful eventually but not for now. He must earn the crowd's favor. - This will be a harem.

Issue #3

Jack's mind was reeling from the revelation that he was just given. But even though she looked like him and said it, Jack had to do the final test to confirm they were related.

He used his telepathy to try and reach into her mind but when he could not 'touch' her, that is when he knew it. She was indeed his daughter.

Most mutants that were related to each other could not use their powers on other members of their family. This was true for all of the Frost siblings and partially true for the Summers brothers.

Jack felt excited by this news. Even though he had not been there for her birth or to see her grow up, it was still such an exciting thing for him to see his own daughter.

'Focus, Jack. We need to focus.'

Jack turned his attention to Rachel instead. He assumed that both already knew about his power since they knew he was capable of taking on a Celestial.

"Rachel. I need to look through your mind. I need to see everything that you have seen. Experience everything that you have experienced. Can I do that?" Jack asked

"Of course. Whatever you need to do to stop that future from happening," Rachel said eagerly. She was willing to do anything to prevent the future she had experienced from occurring.

So that is just what Jack did. Although his telepathy wasn't on the level of Emma or Xavier, with Rachel not putting up any defenses, he could look through her memories as if he was watching a movie.

No. It was better to say that he was remembering a past life.

All the happy memories of Rachel's childhood. All of the fear and despair she felt when her parents were killed. The pain and anger from her torment. The grief and helplessness she felt while she was a Hound.

Jack felt it all. And he also understood that Stella had probably felt the exact same way. And this made him furious.

But Jack had to push past it. Push past the emotions and the subjectiveness. He had to see the facts.

Where everything went wrong. The mistakes that were made. The decisions that broke them. Jack had to ensure that mutants would not lose. Not again.

Only after combing over every memory of the girl several times, did Jack finally stop. He got all the information he could from her mind. Although she didn't know everything, Rachel knew enough that Jack could put together where it all went wrong.

'It wasn't Magneto. Although Kelly accelerated what would happen, that is not when it started. Whatever is the catalyst, happens in around 4 years. I have 4 years until that first event that starts this entire path.'

Understanding that he had 4 years to gather clues and unravel the puzzle that was the increase in human hate and whatever started the Nimrod program, Jack felt both anxious and relaxed.

Although the timeline was a bit tight, Jack felt confident that he would be able to handle it as long as his clones did their parts and gathered the necessary information and powers for him./\ (I don't remember making that symbol but I'm keeping it. Like the two buttons needed to make it are so far apart that it makes no sense that I don't remember making that symbol. So I'm pretty sure I'm possessed)

'No! Not just them. I need to work a bit harder too. Since they are focusing on the magical and pseudo-science, I will use the knowledge I gained from Sinister to improve myself and some other mutants that I trust.'

Jack began forming a plan in his mind about how to which mutant clones he wanted to focus on creating as well as how he could advance the research that Sinister was conducting.

But while 7 mini-Jack brains were thinking about that, the main part of Jack's mind was focusing on the two young women in front of him thanks to [Cyber Mind].

"We will figure out how to proceed from here. In the meantime, you two are more than welcome to stay here."

Rachel and Stella nodded while looking around the room. Ever since the Institute was destroyed, they had not been able to visit the place. But the room they were in now was the same office that their Jack had, with less random objects from his various interests.

"Thanks, Father. Is Mother around?" Stella asked nervously. She had not seen either of her parents in 13 years. The day that Jack died was the same day that Emma died.

"Oh! Are my parents here as well?" Rachel asked

Jack shook his head in response

"Sorry to disappoint but all 3 of them are out on a mission. They should be returning shortly though."

The pair nodded. It had already been 13 years. Another hour or two would not make much difference to them.

Jack brought the pair out of his office before bringing them to their own room. Although he offered them each their own room, the duo decided to share a room.

"We have been with each other so much that we just feel more comfortable like this," was their response when Jack asked why.

Understanding their feelings, Jack didn't press the matter. Instead, he took them around the mansion to familiarize them with it. Although they had lived in it in the future, there were sure to be several differences.

And while he toured them around the place, Jack did not forget to order them all the basic personal items they would need. A few sets of clothes, makeup, toiletries, etc.

He only got a few of the more basic stuff as he felt it was more appropriate for the girls to go with their mothers to get the other items that they needed. That way they would be able to get someone with better taste than him to buy their clothes and they could bond with the women.

By the time Emma and the others got back, Jack was having the quintuplets help put away the items that he ordered.

When the 8 of them got the news that the X-Men had returned, they all shared looks before nervously walking to the lobby. When they got to the top of the stairs, they could see many of the X-Men exiting the secret elevator that led to the basement.

"Ugh. I need me a shower after having all that oil spill on me," complained Kitty

"That is because you were reckless, Katherine," Emma reproached

"She's right, Kitty. You need to watch your surroundings," Ororo added on

The group of X-Men noticed Jack and the girls at the top of the stairs. Seeing the two new girls, all of them turned their inquisitive gazes to Jack.

Jack smiled and held out his hands as he introduced the girls.

"X-Men, this is Rachel Summers and Satellizer Frost. The former is the future daughter of Jean and Scott while the latter is the future daughter of Emma and myself. They come from a future where Sentinels kill most of us.

Rachel and Stella, the X-Men. Mutant kinds best hope of survival and probably those you have learned from in the future."

Seeing the stunned looks on all of their faces, Jack smiled brightly.

'So I'm not the only one that gets stunned by future children,' Jack thought to himself
