Exploring the unexplored

All missing senses started returning to Shingi, but he could feel something was missing. He could feel the hands of the Spirit Child hugging him and even smell a strange sensation coming from her. He also could taste his salivae, although he wasn't sure how he produced it.

He looked down at the child, who was still giggling.

"What are you doing here? Did something happen to An and the others?" [Shingi]

The girl stopped her giggle as she looked over at Shingi and her face changed. There was a look of disappointment at that moment.

She let go of Shingi, and the moment she did, Shingi lost his senses again. She sat down on the ground, even if one couldn't see it since everything was just pitch black. Then, she started making circles on the ground with one finger while she had a pouting face.

'Did I say something wrong?' [Shingi]

Shingi wasn't sure why she acted like that after a simple question.

"An is safe." [Spirit Child]
