" Move away from the mirror " Alice ordered as bossy as ever.
Ayra stared at her through the mirror and sighed softly " You don't have to yell ,will you die if you speak to me politely? "
" This is the only reason I don't like staying at Nana's house for more than a week " Alice huffed loudly ignoring her question.
" Ssshhh she might hear you " Ayra bereted glancing at the door.
" Nana isn't back yet from the market , regardless of what you think I'm not so thoughtless especially when it concerns Nana".
" I never said you are thoughtless but why don't you like spending more than a week here " Ayra inquired stepping away from the mirror.
" Isn't it obvious? "
Ayra stared back at her with a blank face
" Alright I will spell it out " She began , gestulating with her manicured hands like she always does when she was under stress.
" I had a hard day at school today and would have loved to spend time alone in my own room but no, I'm stuck with seeing your face for the rest of the day and night too it's simply annoying".
Alice had argued to Nana on several occasions that she didn't fancy sleeping in the same room with ayra each time they visited, but Nana would always smile and insist they were sisters and thus should share a room together after all its just for a couple of nights, she would always say calmly.
" Well I don't like sleeping in the same room with you as well " Ayra retorted irked.
" Perfect maybe you can help me convince Nana to allow us have separate spaces " .
" You said you had a hard day at school, was it because of the Natasha stuff? " Ayra tentatively asked hating the fact she couldn't find a better way to phrase her question properly.
Alice narrowed her eyes significantly before replying " I can handle ten Natasha without battling an eyelid ayra she doesn't have the capabilities to give me a hard time, in fact I enjoyed beating her up " She added with a little smile.
Ayra almost clapped her hands in cheer but stopped herself in time " So what's the problem Ali? " .
" Tsk I'm just tensed a- and worried about my birthday , I want no - I need to have a perfect birthday party because it's actually my la- wait a second why am I telling you my problems? She asked loudly aghast and relieved she had caught herself in time. Being needy and telling people about your problems was never attractive that was one of the things she had learnt early .
Ayra had never understood Alice's obsessive need to throw a perfect birthday party and probably would never understand plus what was she about to say before she stooped herself ? Ayra wondered wishing she could magically read her mind somehow.
" Ali don't worry you have this under control, I'm certain your party would be the best and most talked about " She reassured.
" Don't call me Ali like mom, anyways thank you for the words of encouragement not like I wanted them though " .
" Tsk tsk you don't have to sound so formal and I can't hide it anymore I really miss mom" She cried softly.
" You're such a big baby it haven't even been up to a week please come off it " .
" Unlike you I think it's stupid to hide ones true feelings and I can't control my emotions".
Alice snorted loudly " Says the person that couldn't talk about her little crus- " .
" Jack's case was totally different Alice " .
" I beg to differ and bear it at the back of your mind baby sis that once people know your true feelings and your secrets they would surely use it against you " .
" Is that the reason you hide your emotions so much? because you are afraid of it being used against you? " Ayra questioned softly but just then there was a loud banging on the door.
Ayra swore loudly " Anytime she was about to understand her sister better or get to find out her deepest fears, someone always interrupts their conversation " .
