You plop onto your bed and let a sigh escape your lips. You had a long day at school and just wanted it to be over at this point. You wanted to sleep and let your mind ascend to dream land. You get comfy under your covers and start to feel your eyes get heavier and heavier.

"Y/N! COME DOWNSTAIRS NOW!" You hear your mother exclaim. It's like she knows you were comfy an about to take a nice nap. You groan in annoyance and quickly get up, not wanting to make your mother wait even a second later.

"Yes?" As you come down the stairs you notice The Jeons talking with your parents in the living room. You see jungkook staring down at his hands that were laying in his lap. You found this odd because he would usually have a smug look on his face while staring you down.

Well whatever. You couldn't care what or why he didn't this time as it was a moment for you to not feel so tense at the thought of him plotting something.

"Sit down, The jeons and us have an important matter to discuss with you and jungkook."

You sit down hesitantly on the couch next to jungkook as you feel your anxiety start to get high. You were worried it might be about something bad between you two.

Your parents are sitting across from you guys on the other couch with the coffee table in between, occupied with four glasses of wine.

Your mother picks up her glass of wine and takes a sip before speaking.

"Okay now that you're both here. We have some important news."

You take a quick glance at jungkook. You see him staring at our parents and wondering what they have to say to you two.

"As you know, We are all in the same business. Our boss has ordered the four of us and a couple of other coworkers to go on a business trip in Paris." Mrs. Jeon speaks. As the words leave her mouth, you feel yourself become less tense.

Just a trip to paris? That won't be so bad for me. It'll be like my own little vacati-

"So you two will be living together inside our house until we get back." Your mom says. Your heart instantly drops.

What.

"We'll be gone for six months as they desperately need us to help with the business station over there. And our boss is offering very good pay for this as well. We couldn't turn down the opportunity" Mr. Jeon says, Sipping on his wine shortly after.

Six months. Alone in a house with Jungkook? Are they insane?

"We will be leaving in five days as our flight is already booked and scheduled." Your mom says.

"Why do we have to stay together? I mean we'll be fine in our houses alone." Jungkoook finally speaks. For once I think the same thing as him. Why together? We can do just fine being separate and on our own.

"Because you two will be much more safe with one another. We trust you two to watch over each other. For example, Y/n cooks very delicious food and knows how to take care of house chores and, god forbid, but if one of you get hurt she knows medical information. And Jungkook, we have raised you to be a strong man and protect the women in your life, You know how to make smart decisions and be a good supervisor." Mrs Jeon says as she starts to stand up.

"There will be no argument on this or any further discussion. Its final." Your mother says before they all get up and head to the dining table to start setting up and get ready for dinner.

You and Jungkook sit in silence with this information. The silence feels so loud. You can hear the clock on your living room wall ticking with every passing second. You both don't know what to say or do.

You've known Jungkook for two years and you should be comfortable enough to share a house for six months. But you don't. He's gonna make your life a living hell.

You feel like something is off. Sure you just got told that you'll be living in the same house as your enemy.

But something is bothering you.

Jungkook would usually be excited or laughing at you for this opportunity to ruin your life from the inside out. So why is he so quiet?

You decide to turn your attention to him and try to see if theres any readable expression or body language you can figure out.

But as you turn around. He's already staring at you.

With that stupid smug look on his face.
