THE FIREFIGHTERS

Beep, Beep, Beep". the fire alarm went off. "Mum! Dad!, The house is on fire!", cried a girl called Sally. Then Sally's Mum (Elizabeth) called 911, while Sally's Dad (William) took her outside. "Hello" replied a voice from the phone. "My house is on fire and I live at 50 Station Road", said Elizabeth. "Okay will be there as quick as a flash," said the voice from the phone. Then Elizabeth ran outside too.

Seconds later…

"Emergency, meet at the fire trunk!" yelled Jack (the fire station captain). Once we got to Sally's house, Sally yelled "My cat is inside!". So we got the hose off the fire engine and got ready at the door. Soon we opened the door and the fire almost got us. We spilt into two groups. One group flushed out the fire that almost got us and the other group went in the kitchen. I went and found that the cat was stuck on the other side! I got the fire extinguisher and turned it on so it made a narrow passage for me to carefully walked through and get the cat. I walked through and got the cat. I ran outside and returned the cat to Sally. Sally was overjoyed! I rushed back inside to see that the fire was burnt out and we did it so quickly that the house was hardly burnt.

Then when we finished, everyone was happy. Being a fire fighter is a hard, fatal but fun job.
