"What's on your mind?" I asked Millie as she was sitting down in a bar on the base. The bar was more like a tent equipped with distillery and cabinets from the medical office to act as an ersatz bar. Still, quite a good place to relax and do some lounging. However, with military background, it's more of a place for spooks and spies to stay.

After the F-35 data retrieval, there was something odd about her for some unknown reasons that I couldn't figure out about. Millie was acting strange, as if she was waiting for some revelations to come, which I couldn't promise to even come in the first place.

The F-35 data didn't contain anything, or rather, I didn't ask anything about the data since I had the idea that a shot down with a surface-to-air missile would happen sooner or later. However, I wasn't confident on who was able to do that in the first place to a 5th gen fighter that easily.
