| We kept walking for three long hours, and with the sun slowly setting, it signaled that nighttime might be upon us if we weren't almost there. As time passed, I began to feel bored and a bit annoyed by how long the journey was taking. In hushed tones, we whispered to each other, making sure not to alert the nearby cultivator. | For the rest of the evening, I lead Yulong to the spots marked by the red dots on the map, and he finds coins. Afterward, he finds an inn by asking an old lady walking on the street, and we both spend the night there. Haoxuan is with us too, and as I settle in to sleep, I reflect on my first day in the human territory. It was definitely a day full of surprises and new experiences. |
