Chapter 19 Plot twist.

As it got late everybody started heading to bed… Mia was resting her head on my shoulder looking tiered… I said I was going to bed and got up… Mia did the same and followed me as we said good night…

I let her change into her pyjamas first and changed after she was done… as I crawled into the bed I saw Mia had laid down all the way to the other side with her back towards me… I laid down confused, that is not like her…

"did I do something wrong… are you mad at me…" I asked her with a soft voice…

"n…no. I am just trying to respect what you said…" She turned around and blushed at me…

"but you always cuddle up to me…" I said looking down at my side…

It really felt empty without her there… she smiled gently at me and came over to me and laid gently down in my arms and buried her face at my side… I put the blanked around her and made sure she would not get cold… she was actually really warm… she looked up at me with her blue eyes shining a little in the dark… I placed the palm of my hand on her head… normal body temperature…

"I…I am not sick…" she blushed and snuggled against me…

"you don't have to stay away from me… it is true that I don't want a child right now but I won't avoid you because it…" I explained to her…

"so, you don't mind me being close to you?" Mia asked looking at me nervus…

"um… it feel lonely without you by my side…" I said feeling my cheeks turn warm…

Mia smiled happy as she cuddled up against me as I fixed the blanket… she always likes to snuggle up against me and if I were not working on something she would always hug on my arm or lean her head at my shoulder… all the days away felt worth it when she laid next to me…

She fell asleep fast when I caressed her hair… she tried to keep her eyes open, but she could not resist once I cuddled her hair… she had the same weakness I have. If she wanted me to calm down or fall asleep she would run her fingers true my hair. I held her hand and drifted off to sleep…

The next morning, I woke up like normal and had breakfast with the Archangels before we fly down to the dock, we would work on the ship, Mia, Theo, and the twins would come eat lunch with us and we would work until it started to get dark…

It continued like this for three weeks… it was starting to get dark and we had already had late lunch because Mia had to do some tests at school before she could come down to us. She had told us in advance, so we had grabbed a light snack before, but she had spoiled us with her toasts… I don't know what she put in them, but they were way better than normal toast…

Anyway. I stood there with Jeff and Valkyrie at my side looking at the ship, it was done. Well, I still needed to plant the crops and fill it up with materials… but water and the septic was in place… the cannons was installed, and I had made a battle control station where I could monitor everything inside and around the ship…

It looked like a metal version of a big aircraft carrier, and yes I had even installed a compact flight deck underneath the deck… why I did not have plains on the deck? Well, the darkness beasts loves to lob things onto the deck since they cannot reach us… and having it below protects the planes…

I made mini planes that had a magic cannon in the front... it did not really need wings, but I figured if something would interrupt the blocks it could glide on the wings and land safe on the ground or on deck if it could reach back to the ship…

"w…we are done? Like actually ready to go back to battle done… right?" Jeff asked as he smiled at the ship…

"we need to get the plants growing before we head off since we more people… but yes… Kraken is battle ready…" I said smiling at them.

"were did the guns go?" Vicki asked tilting her head…

"I folded them back inside since we are not in combat right now…" I smirked at her looking puzzled at the ship…

"Kraken?" Jeff asked looking at me…

"Kraken is an ancient beast that wiped out an ancient civilization a long time ago… I think the name fits it…" I explained to him…

Well, kraken was not really mentioned in this world but I could not really tell them that… we stood looking at the big battle ship and since they have been with me building it they knew the inns and outs of the ship… Almost… I still had my own secret shelter and escape hatch in my room… Just in case Mr. Plot decided to throw something crazy at me…

"eh… before you tell my sister that we are ready to go… can you let us get clear first…" Vicki looked at me stunned…

"she already knows… I told her last night that we would be finished today…" I giggled at her…

Mia really had taken Vicki as her sister and started lecturing her about proper behaver for Archangel maiden… she even started to complain that she would miss her sister when she went back to war and got clingy at Vicki like a proper little sister would…

Even Charles and April started to call her there daughter… Mom and dad could not help to get involved into this and made the adoption legal… it was funny to see Vicki tear up as she got adopted into the family… I even felt my hearth glow as she fell on her knees crying in happiness…

Surprisingly, she adapted to calling Charles and April mom and dad really fast… and I could only guess how old she was when her family was taken away from her… I had asked her in private and she said she was 16 when she was married but I could feel she lied to me…

April would spoil Vicki to no ends with hugs and sweets… Charles also spoiled her with gifts and story time like she was a little kid… Vicki tried to act though about it, but I could tell she loved the attention she got from her new parents and she would act like a child around them…

"why are you smiling at the ground like that brother?" Vicki asked…

"I am just thinking about how I will miss the toast everyday…" I smiled a little bitter at her…

"oh… that is true… but we are making the world safer for everybody… so that nobody would get hurt by a darkness beast again…" she gritted her teeth smiling at me…

"but this time we really will not come back until every last one of them is dead… not even for supplies…" I explained to her…

"h…how long will I be away from mom and dad?" she asked blushing a little sad at me…

"this time it will be until we destroy every last one… not a single darkness beast will live in this world… even if the kraken falls apart I will personally hunt them down myself with my own wings… the evil must be stopped." I said clenching my fist looking at kraken with a firm face…

"by the way… how did you make the woman and child show like a deer in the video?" Jeff asked looking at me…

"Quiet! We will not mention that in the city…" Vicki looked around making sure no one heard him…

"sorry…" Jeff whispered looking around…

"Angel did that for me… but we cannot tell anyone about the true face of evil that the darkness have… beside we are not hiding the fact that it was a mother and a child… and I think in a situation like that even if it is an animal it would not matter… but more people would just get involved if we showed them the original video and it would leave more scars on the people…" I said as I walked towards the storage…

I closed the titanium prosses and tossed the rest of the materials in my storage spell… I looked around the empty warehouse making sure nothing was left… I clenched my fist around a titanium bar and squeezed in anger… the bar twisted like butter in my hands…

"don't beath yourself up…" I heard Paul's voice behind me…

"so, you did hear…" I asked… I had noticed him before Jeff said anything…

"you have never been deer hunting have you… a mother deer will leave the child to save herself… it is to protect the lineage of their herd… I knew it as soon as I saw the video… and I think you are right about not telling people about it… beside I have seen the evil that the darkness is capable off… probably not as much as you… but still…" Paul said as he walked in front of me…

"don't let the hatred for them settle a root in your hearth… you have to learn that sometimes it is better to let it go…" Paul said looking at me firmly and placed his hand on mine that was holding the titanium bar…

"I know… but I will not rest until they are all dead… once I killed every last one of them I will let go of the hatred I have for them…" I said and tossed the deformed bar into my storage…

"I assume you are leaving soon…" Paul looked at me…

I nodded to him and explained the event about the portal and the other gods… he nodded and agreed with me that it was the perfect time to strike back at them while they are still in disorder from there leader being taken away… he lifted me up and hugged me…

"just make sure you leave enuf room for love and kindness in your hearth…" he said as he carried me outside…

He looked proudly at the big ship and put me down and patted my head saying that I had made a nice ship… we flew back to the villa and as soon as I got inside Mia was there holding my arm… I know I said she was clingy to Vicki… but she was still stuck to me like this every time I came home… she would give me space when I eat and rested, but she would go and cling on Vicki instead…

She have been doing it the last week but today she would not even let go as I eat food… I guess after I told her that I am leaving soon that she wants all the time she can get with me before I go…

I feel the same way… that is why I just held the spoon in the other hand as I eat, and held her hand as she rested her head at my shoulder… mom tried to get a hug from her to let me eat in peace after a long day of work, but she just held tighter on my hand…

"how about we have a picnic tomorrow…" I said smiling around the table…

"y…you don't have to work tomorrow?" Dad asked me…

"no. the ship is done… we only need to let the crops grow before we set off…" I stated to them.

Mom dropped her spoon on the table and looked at me stunned… I gently smiled to her as she figured out that I was going soon… she stood up and walked over without any regards to manners or table procedure that she was overly punctual about…

She hugged over both Me and Mia and lifted us up in her arms and walked over to the sofa and sat down with us on her lap… both me and Mia looked stunned at her…

"if you ever so much as think about not coming back I will hunt you down… there is not a single step I will not take for my children, and if you even think about leaving your wife a widow I will follow you back into death and drag you out and give you a beating you have never had before… do I make myself clear." Mom looked at me firmly…

"mom… I will destroy the world before I let the darkness beast kill me…" I smiled at her…

"Good." Mom hugged us both tight…

"Will you two let him eat… he have already worked all day and you two cannot control yourself enuf to let him get a proper meal…" Dad walked over and scolded Mom and Mia…

He picked me up and carried me back to the table and placed me back down at the chair… Mom and Mia was stunned and did not say a word… Dad have only talked firmly once before so it is rare for him to act like this… yep… it was when I blew out the living room with vines at home in Terrentil…

Mom and Mia came back to the table and sat down quietly…

"so, when are you thinking of having a picnic?" Dad asked breaking the silent around the dinner table…

"well. I was thinking of sleeping a little extra tomorrow… so around midday…" I giggle to him…

"it will be like when you blew the roof from our castle…" Dad smiled back at me…

Mia laughed out loud… she laughed so hard that tears ran down her cheeks… Dad looked confused at her, but Mom started laughing with her… they both tried to speak pointing at Dad…

"the… look… roof… gone…" Mia and Mom spoke laughing at dad…

Everybody looked confused at Mia and Mom laughing hysterical at Dad blushing before turning to me…

"his first words when he had dug me out from the rubble was. where did you put the roof… and I pointed down at the floor…" I explained to them giggling…

Everybody started giggling as Mia and Mom gasped for air laughing so hard… not long after everybody manage to calm down…

"brother?" Luisa asked looking at me confused…

"did nyaw put roof in basement?" Anabel continued her question also looking confused at me…

Everybody started laughing hard at their confused look… I walked over to them and kneeled down between them and explained that I had destroyed the roof with the big vine tree back at home…

They giggled and laughed when I made funny gestures explaining everything to them about how the roof had collapsed when I cast my first Vine spell… I even made Theo spill water out of his nose as he laughed when I told about them about Dad getting yelled at from Nana saying that who cares about the roof and dusted off my clothes…

The rest of the dinner was filled with laughter and happy memories about my childhood… there was a lot of embarrassing moments, like when Dad stepped on my tail… and how easy it was to find me when I was hiding because my tail was always sticking out reviling my position…

Night came faster then everybody wanted and soon everybody was asleep… Mia and I had gone to sleep first since we did not want to relive the embarrassing moments… we were cuddled up together taking about the cake hunt we had at my birthday party… Mia was cuddling my hair, so I felt myself drifting asleep as she talked…

The next morning, I woke up dazed… but instead of getting up I just held my arms around Mia and relaxed looking at her sleeping next to me… she was cute when she was asleep… the twins opened the door smiling at me… the walked quietly to the bed and crawled up…

They crawled under the blanket and laid down between us… I cuddled their hair as they looked sleepy… and not long after they were asleep… I smile at the tree of them sleeping peacefully and stretched my wing over them…

After a while mom came looking around the room… I giggle to her and lower my wing so she could see Luisa and Anabel sleeping between us… she walked over and sat down on the edge next to me…

"please promise that you come how safe…" Mom whispered to me and cuddled my hair…

"I promise mom…" I smiled…

"okey. It is breakfast soon." She smiled happy and kissed my forehead before walking back out closing the door behind her…

Mia woke up when the door got closed gently… I guess she was afraid that I would go back to work today… she looked confused at my wing folded over her and looked at me smiling at her…

"morning mommy…" I giggle and pull the blanked gently down…

She noticed Luisa and Anabel that was asleep between us and looked at them smiling gently as she stretched out and held my hand…

"someday I hope my dream come true…" she whispered and smiled at them…

"your dream is to have twins?" I looked confused at her…

"n…no. it don't have to be twins…" she blushed at me…

"so, your dream is to have children of your own?" I giggle at her…

"to have your children…" she pouted at me blushing…

Eh… I looked at her stunned… she laid her head back down and cuddled their hair smiling and humming a gentle song to them…

"want to see something cute?" she asked and smiled at me…

I nodded to her confused… she held her finger up and gently tapped on their nose once… the twins stretched up their tiny hands and woke up slowly… they had drowsy eyes as they looked at us smiling before Luisa turned and grabbed on to Mia… Anabel turned and grabbed a hold of me…

"they do this every morning…" Mia giggled to me and sat up holding Luisa in her arms…

I sat up and held Anabel in my arms looking at her curling up in my arms almost falling asleep again… I looked up at Mia smiling gently towards me as she slid over to the edge of the bed next to me and gave me a kiss…

"don't make her fall asleep again or she will get cranky when she wakes up…" Mia winked at me and get out of bed…

I looked down at Anabel in my arms… she was about to fall asleep again, so I tapped her nose like Mia did… Anabel stretched her arms again and sat up and smiled at me with sleepy eyes…

"want breakfast?" I asked her smiling at my cute sleepy sister in my arms…

"have omelette?" she asked in a cute sleepy voice…

"let's go see what we have…" I smiled and walked out of the room…

I walked over to the dinner table and looked… there was no omelette… I saw Anabel looked a little sad, so I placed her down in her chair next to Luisa and told them to wait, they nodded at me as I walked towards the kitchen… Mia looked curiously at me and followed…

The maids looked confused at me when I asked if they had leftovers from yesterday's dinner and some eggs but pointed at the casseroles at the stove and said they would get some eggs from storage for me…

I found the cooked chicken from yesterday and started to peel it to make sure there was no bone, I found garlic and cooking oil…

"the twins don't eat much breakfast, so you don't have to worry about it…" Mia looked at me…

I smiled to her and pulled out a big serving plate, I fried the onion and added the chicken in the end to warm it up… the maid came with a basket of eggs to me looking confused at me making breakfast…

They stood to the side looking at me making food… the maid was about to say something when I added onions with chicken and some precooked vegetables with cooked rise on the half-fried egg, when Ezra came walking out from the common dining room…

Ezra had turned around and yelled to the others that I was making breakfast and soon enuf everybody started to rush true the kitchen towards the living room… I sighed as I folded the omurice…

I filled up a big serving plate until it could not hold anymore… I took two plates and placed the last two on them and gave it to the maids who looked at me stunned before I walked out to the living room… the Archangels was smiling happy as I walked inn…

Mia sat down looking stunned at the sight of the normally chatty Archangels being quiet as I walked over to the twins and placed two smaller sized omurice on their plate and walked over to Mia and placed one on her plate and one on mine… I handed the plate over to Jeff that was smiling at me before walking back over to the twins…

"help brother cut it open for you…" I smiled and gently placed the knives on top of each of their omurice…

They nodded and grabbed onto my hand and helped me slice the top… it unfolded like a flower on their plate and the nice smell of chicken filled the room… the twins looked at the food with big happy eyes as it unfolded onto their plate…

"remember it is still hot, so you need to blow before eating… hope you like brothers cooking…" I smiled to them and patted them on their head…

They nodded smiling at me holding the fork in their hands… I walked over and sat down next to Mia who looked stunned at the twins actually starting to eat breakfast…

"want me to cut open yours?" I smiled at her…

She blushed and nodded at me… I placed the knife and was about to slice it open when she put her hands over mine… I glanced over and saw she was blushing a little… I giggled gently to her and sliced the omurice… she looked amazed as it unfolded on her plate like a flower…

She took a bite and smiled down at the plate and leaned her head on my shoulder giggling to herself… we finished our breakfast as mom and dad came walking in and looked at the twins stunned…

She leaned over my shoulder opening her mouth… I fed her some food and she hugged me and smiled looking out on the table… the rest was gone… she looked sad so I said I could make her some and walked out with the serving plate back out to the kitchen…

When I came back out I saw Paul and Frida had already sat down and Lisa had pulled out her chair… I was glad I had made extra…

"can I have more brother…" Luisa and Anabel held out their plate to me…

I nodded and walked around the table and placed an omurice on the others plate first… I walked over to the twins and found the two small ones I had made for them just in case they wanted more…

Mom and Dad looked at me stunned as I placed the knifes on top and the twins held my hands… we sliced the omurice and it unfolded like a little flower again… the others looked stunned at the twins plates as they started blowing on the food before eating it…

I poured some more milk in their glasses before walking back to my seat and sat down… Mia held out her knife to me smiling… I giggled to her and placed it on top of the food and waited for her to grab on to my hand…

She didn't… Luisa giggled and told her to help brother cut or it would not work… everybody turned and looked at us… Mia blushed and placed her hands on mine… I sliced it opened and handed her the knife smiling at her… everyone was enjoying breakfast and when I was done eating I looked over at the two twins that had almost eaten everything on their plate… they had stopped eating and had a tired look on their face…

I tapped Mia's shoulder and nodded for her to look towards the twins… she looked over and saw that they were considering eating the last few bites of their food, she turned back to me and nodded… we got up and walked over and picked them up I lifted Luisa gently up and placed her on in my arms so her head rested on my shoulder, I folded my wings around her so she would stay warm…

Mia and I walked around the living room gently rubbing their back as they had eaten to much… Mom looked at us with a smile as we sat down on the sofa…

"my tummy hurts…" Luisa said as she rested her head on my arm…

"I am sorry I gave you more than one plate of food…" I looked down at her and folded my wing around us so she could stay warm… I knew the warm helped relive the pain…

"but brothers food was too good nyot to eat…" Luisa said as she cuddled up in my arms…

"brothers food was really good..." Anabel said under Mia's wing…

"yes. But I should have known better then to give you more than one… now you got an upset stomach." I smiled a little sad over to Anabel…

"but now we get morning cuddles…" Luisa tried to cheer me up but was still holding her tummy…

"if you lay still and relax a little the pain will go away faster…" I smiled down at her…

"but it hurts..." Anabel pouted as she popped her head up from Mia's wing…

"fine… but you have to agree that you will stay still until I say so… I can only take the pain away… your bodies must digest the food normally…" I looked at Luisa nodding at me before I looked at Anabel…

She nodded too so I stretched out my hand and placed it on her stomach and used my healing magic to stop the pain in her stomach… I did the same to Luisa… she placed her tiny hands over mine when the pain faded away… I heard her sigh and relaxed in my arms… I giggled at her as I held her hand as she smiled happy up at me…

My hand was double the size of hers… they were so soft that I felt I would crush it if I were not gentle… was I this small too? I looked at her confused when she held her hand up towards mine, but I placed the palm of my hand at hers… she was studding my hand too… I heard giggling at my side and looked over… and saw Anabel and Mia was giggling at us… I glanced over at the dinner table and saw everybody was looking at us with big smiles…

"so, what did you name the boat this time…" Dad smirked at me…

"eh… Kraken…" I blushed a little to him…

"like the mythical beast kraken?" I heard from my side…

I felt my heartbeat drop as I heard those words ring in my ears… I turned fast over and looked at Mia… she was looking down at Anabel… Anabel was smiling at me but realised she had reviled some information that was not in this world as I looked at her stunned…

"but isn't that an octopus?" Mia asked Anabel…

"yes. Like the one with tentacles." Luisa said to her…

Anabel had noticed my gaze and looked concerned down like she had done something wrong…

I looked at Mia and Luisa stunned… t…they are from my world… I looked at their confused gazes before I turned back my gaze to Anabel…

"let's go outside so you two can get some fresh air for your tummies…" I smiled and got up…

"okey…" Mia smiled and got up with me holding Anabel in her arms…

Dad giggled at me when we walked outside… I guess it seemed that I was too embarrassed to stay indoor… good… I felt my hearth race as I took the step outside… I felt worried when I turned to the right of the villa and cast a small Dome and walked inside... Mia followed me smiling like nothing have happened… but she looked a little concerned at Anabel being quiet…

"this is brothers own Dome spell… no one can hear us inside here." I placed Luisa down on the ground next to Mia and took a step back and sat down on the ground…

Mia put down Anabel on the ground… Anabel was looking around a little scared, so Mia told her that the Dome is not dangerous… Anabel looked at me before making a dash towards the front door at the Villa… both Luisa and Mia looked at her stunned as she ran at full speed…

She clashed with the wall of the dome and fell backwards down at the ground… she had tears in her eyes as she was panicky touching the dome wall… Mia and Luisa ran up to her and comfort her… I sat still since I knew she was afraid of me…

"she is bleeding…" Mia walked over to me and sat down in front of me with Anabel looking terrified at me…

"what is up with you two… one is shivering scared and one is eery quiet…" Mia scolded us…

"I am not a bad slime…" I stated out to Anabel…

Anabel calmed down a little and looked at me before looking at Luisa… Luisa looked confused at her before looking over at me with a confused expression on her face…

"are you sure your nyot going to hurt us?" Anabel spoke out making Mia and Luisa look at me even more confused…

*"yes. I am not evil." I said in ancient language… my word English…

*"you're a reincarnation too?" Luisa's jaw dropped…

*"yes. But first… you need to explain everything to me…" I said and healed Anabel's broken nose…

"t…thank you." Anabel said touching her nose…

"did I kill my sisters with omurice.." I asked feeling a lump in the back of my throat…

"w…what? Nyow… it have just been so long since we tasted Japanese food that we over eat when we got served Omurice…" Luisa explained…

"thank mother of nature…" I said feeling relived and fell backwards at the ground…

"um… dear… you okey…" Mia looked at me…

"yes. Why did you not tell me earlier that you were from my world?" I looked at her and sat back up.

"um… you where over concerned at plots and evil intention when we were younger…" Mia explained blushing at me…

"since when have you known?" I looked at her…

"the cake is a lie… I played portal two…" she blushed at me…

"so, since we first meet… and the wedding?" I looked at her stunned…

"that was an accident. I did not mean for us to be married… please don't think less of me… I am not a plot… I just fell victim to the Covid and ended up here…" Mia had tears in her eyes as she explained to me…

"I don't think badly of you… I am only glad we have even more in common…" I smiled to her and held her hand…

"when did you find out about us?" Luisa asked looking at me stunned…

"it was me… I slipped up when I mentioned the kraken sister…" Anabel said looking down at the ground…

"is that why you facepalmed into the shield…" Luisa asked looking at her…

"well. I thought he would hurt us since he took us outside and blame it on a goblin or something…" Anabel explained to her…

Mia started to laugh out loud at her… pointing at me and said she was just like her brother… Luisa started laughing at her too… she pouted and explained that the plot was dangerous if you did not prepare… I picked her up and placed her at my lap looking at Mia and Luisa laughing at us…

"she is right you know… remember the portal on bord the Angel… that was me defusing one plot…" I stated to them with a firm face…

"I knew it… that is what happened in the manga story..." Anabel looked terrified…

"don't worry little sister… I have taken care of the plots and I am finishing up the last of them now so I can live in piece…" I explained to her and patted her head…

"um… your little sister is actually a boy…" Luisa smirked at me…

I looked down at Anabel blushing down at the ground embarrassed… Luisa explained that they were actually sisters in the old world before they got reincarnated here… they were heading to school when they got hit by a truck… typical Isekai story… but Luisa explained that she had learned that her brother was gay, and they were arguing on their way to school and did not see the truck before it was too late…

I looked over at Mia a little stunned… she misinterpreted that as if I asked if she was a man too…

"n…no. I was a 31-year-old woman… I mean 29-year-old…" Mia stuttered to me trying to fix her age…

"it do not matter what age or gender you were back there… in this world you are reborn as you are and even if you liked the same team… I am sure mother nature would place you in the correct body in this world…" I said and gave Anabel a hug…

"you don't mind having me as sister?" Anabel looked up at me with tears in her eyes…

"no. you are perfect the way you are… and don't worry about the plots… I will do my best to keep everybody safe…" I stated to them…

"don't you forget your promise…" Mia said looking down at the ground blushing…

"why are you so baby fixated?" I asked her stunned…

"eh… um… I was sterile in my old world… so my husband left me…" Mia looked down at the ground worried…

"well. I can tell you right now that you are not sterile in this world… and I would not leave you even if you were…" I said to her in a soft voice…

"really… wait how do you know I am not sterile?" she asked me trying to cover up her body…

"eh… well I have echo vision that allow me to validate internal organ's…" I smiled to her blushing…

*"Etchi…" Anabel said looking up at me firmly pouting her cheeks speaking Japanese…

"what did she say?" Mia looked at me confused…

"it is Japanese for dirty… Anabel I didn't mean I can see her body like that… I can only sense if something is wrong or not working…" I gently chopped her head with my hand…

"are you also from japan?" Luisa asked and sat down in front of me…

"eh… no. I just loved anime and I picked up some Japanese along the way…" I smiled awkward at Luisa…

*"Otaku…" Luisa looked at me and Anabel with eyes that have given up at lecturing us…

"well, this nerd saved you from being overrun with darkness beasts…" I pulled out my phone and showed the last fight we had from the darkness beast that was lining up towards Terrentil and Embar…

Angel had even made an arrow in the video towards the two cities… their eyes grew wide as they looked at the video of us destroying the darkness beasts… when it was done playing everybody looked at me stunned…

"why did you have to go down on the ground…" Mia looked at me concerned...

"because we were investigating how they slipped past us… and that is how I found out that the darkness god had given portals to the beasts so they could sneak inside… I destroyed it and gave the evidence to the gods on the ship as you saw… and he got tossed in prison." I explained to them…

"are you sure we will be okey?" Anabel looked up at me with big eyes…

"yes. I have placed a Dome around the city just in case they are able to get past the Vine…" I pointed at the Vine tree up in the sky…

"y…you actually saved us before we have even meet…" Luisa walked over and hugged me…

"don't take risks like that again…" Mia looked at me with teary eyes…

"um… it is not actually a risk… the only advantage they have is that they are many… and with Kraken that little advantage is gone… I made a magical machine gun that is able to shoot all day without rest or ammo… I only need me and my crew to take shifts in shooting them… the only think I lose is time to watch my family grow up… but as long as they are safe I will endure it." I explained to them…

Everybody hugged me at the same time… I had to sit there and hold them until they calmed down… after a little while Mia sat back down wiping her tears before grabbing Luisa in her arms to comfort her…

"don't tell anyone that you are from another world… and I will release the boundaries on your wings since you should have a better understanding of flight…" I smiled gently to them and unlocked the wings for Luisa and Anabel…

I cancelled out the Dome spell and stood up smiling as I felt the warm breeze blowing in my face… I wiped the rest of the tears away from Anabel's face as I smiled gently at her…

"want to go and prepare for picnic?" I held my hand to Mia and helped her up…

"um… how old?" Mia looked at me...

"eh… 37…" I said understanding that she asked me how old I was in the other world…

Mia smiled at me cuddled up at my arm…

*"Onesan Etchi…" Anabel looked at her and spoke Japanese to her…

"yes. Sister is dirty…" I giggle at Anabel…

"I am not dirty… I bathed yesterday…" Mia pouted at us…

"E T Chi… is dirt mind sister… nyot dirty…" Luisa explained to her giggling…

Mia's face turned red as she tried to speak but could not get a single word out… I leaned over and kissed her red cheek before telling the twins to not speak Japanese out in the open without me there… the giggled and nodded as we walked back inside… I put Anabel down on mom lap…

"everything good… were you scared of going outside again…" Mom looked at her eyes and noticed she had cried…

"brother promised to make monsters go away…" Anabel snuggled into her arms…

I explained that she was afraid of the darkness and I had promised her that I will make them leave this world for good… Mom nodded at me worried but smiled at me anyway… I guess she was worried that I would get hurt or killed… I just gave her a hug and walked of to the kitchen with Mia following me…

I ordered a lot of ingredients from the maid and she said everything were in the storage but fish and shrimps… she asked if I wanted her to go buy it… I smiled and thanked her and gave her a gold coin before walking into the storage…

I started to pick a lot of ingredients and noticed some wooden planks standing in the corner… I took the food and the planks out to the kitchen and used mono mould on them… I was able to make two small bento boxes… they were black with a pink cheery tree displayed on the lid with chopsticks embedded into the lid…

"I am not dirty…" Mia said and rested her head on my back…

"I know… they were just teasing you… besides, I like you just the way you are…" I turned around put my arms around her and kissed her…

"are you sure I am not sterile?" Mia whispered to me looking embarrassed…

"yes. Your anatomy looks normal and there is nothing wrong with you…" I smiled to her…

"you said you could only sense that…" Mia smirked at me…

"eh… well. Sight is a sensory too…" I smiled awkward at her leaning towards me…

"even if we both are 30 years old in our minds… I will not have sex with you until we both are legal age…" I whispered back at her…

"29…" Mia pouted at me…

"hu?" I looked confused at her…

"I am 29 years old in my mind…" Mia whispered to me as she looked at me firmly…

"well, you don't look a day over 11…" I giggled to her…

"it is legal here and we both are almost 30 years old…" she leaned in and kissed me…

After I pulled her away I explained that I would not go to war and not be able to see my child grow up… and I explained that it was a death flag getting someone pregnant and going off to war…

She froze up and calmed down looking stunned at me… she looked sad and was about to walk away… I grabbed her hand and told her that once I returned and the world was safe I would be happy to have children with her… she nodded and held out her pinkie to me… I locked my pinkie with hers and promised… she smiled and said she would help me make the food…

The maid walked back inside with the fish and shrimps and we started to make the food for the picnic... after a couple of hours of cooking we had made a lot of snacks… I packed up the all the bento boxes into my storage spell… Mia had found more wooden planks and made me make a whole bunch of them since they were cute…

We walked out to the living room and saw Luisa and Anabel was about to fall asleep so we said food was ready and we could go now… everybody got up and the twins came running over to us and jumped up in our arms excited and asked where we should go… I told them that it was a secret as I giggled to them…

Mia and I had discussed this earlier and I mentioned a place I have seen on our way back that was not to far… we walked outside to the sailboat Dove and climbed onboard… I flew the ship holding Mia's hand… she started talking about the one time we flew in the stormy weather… I shivered at the thought of standing in the freezing rain… Mia giggled at me and folded her wing around me…

After an hour of flying, I saw the hilltop with flowers and a tree come into view… I called out that we are here, and everybody came up on deck… needless to say the Archangels were the first to almost sprint up on deck… I giggled as they automatically drew their blades when they came up on deck…

Mia was startled at first but giggled when I did… Vicki blushed as she walked up to her side and gave her a little bump on her shoulder for laughing at them… she pouted and punched her back and started scolding her about manners… Vicki looked at me for help, so I gently put my arm around Mia's waste and pulled her to my side and pointed at the tree on top of the hill…

She smiled at the beautiful sight but looked at me confused when I stopped the boat and nodded to Vicki...

Vicki grabbed her spear and jumped of the side of the ship sticking her tongue out to Mia as she fell down… I just slapped my face and glanced over at Mia's face turning a little pink looking firmly at her flying down towards the tree… the other Archangels looked at me, so I gave them a nod and saw them smile happy as they jumped overboard…

Luisa and Anabel came walking over to me so I lifted them up so they could see what was going on… as soon as they saw the tree they looked at me stunned…

"that is a cherry tree…" Luisa said smiling to me…

"yep… just like in the picture book I showed you…" I winked to her…

"what are they doing?" Anabel pointed at Vicki and the other Archangels flying around…

"they are doing a search pattern to check if there have been beasts nearby… soon they will spread out and fly outwards to check the surrounding area…" I explained to them…

After I had explained the Archangels made a circle around the tree and flew outwards really fast… they disappeared out of sight and only I could still track them with my sight… after a little while they came flying back one by one…

Vicki was the last to arrive as usual… she smiled and said that there was no tracks nearby and the area was clear of animals… I nodded and put the twins down and walked over to the helm of the ship… I flew us down to the ground and landed gently on top of the hill… I jumped down and looked around the place…

"um… help me down?" Mia asked me as I looked around…

I turned and nodded to her and helped them down on the ground… we sat up the picnic near the tree… and I pulled out the bento boxes from the storage spell and gave Luisa and Anabel one each… Luisa opened the lid and smiled looking down with a tear running down her cheek…

"are you that happy for your brothers cooking?" Mom looked confused at her and wiped the tear of her face…

Luisa blushed as she held back her tears just nodding with a smile down at the box… Mia was able to hide Anabel's tears when she opened her box… I distracted mom and dad giving them their own box… and handed out the rest to everyone…

I placed Luisa on my lap with the bento on her lap… I held the lid up for her to see and she noticed the chopsticks… she giggled and picked them up…

"is there no forks or knives?" Mom looked confused at me…

"there is chopsticks on the lid…" Luisa smiled and explained out loud to them…

"chopsticks?" Dad looked at the lid of the box and picked up the chopsticks…

"Luisa would you like to teach them how to use them like brother showed you?" I smiled down at her…

Luisa giggled to me and nodded… she showed everyone how to properly hold the chopsticks… everybody looked at her with big eyes as she held up her hand and explained to them… she tried to pick up an eggroll but it fell down as she tried to pick them up…

"I may have made them to big for your hands… let me help you…" I smiled a little sorry at her as she gave me the chopsticks…

I continued the explanation that you pick up the food and dip it in the soya sauce in the middle if you like the taste, but you could also eat it without… I dipped the eggroll in the soya sauce and held my hand under it and held it to Luisa… she took a big bite out of it and chewed down smiling… she giggled as she pointed at the different foods she wanted… I just sat there smiling and feed her…

Mia asked if I just couldn't just use the mould spell to modify the chopsticks for her… I told her that it slipped my mind… I folded the chopsticks down to children size and handed them back to Luisa…

"Etchi…" I heard her mumble low so only I could hear her…

"it really slipped my mind sorry…" I looked at her sad…

She nodded and grabbed an eggroll but lost it in the soya sauce… I held down my giggle as she handed the chopsticks back to me… I picked up the eggroll and feed it to her…

She was practically dancing as she bite down on the soggy eggroll as she leaned back and chewed happy and humming to herself…

Did she do it on purpose to get handfeed… no… I looked over at Anabel that was eating without any problems with the big chopsticks… she pointed at the rice and I picked it up for her…

*"Imoto etchi…" I spoke Japanese in a low voice as she bite over the rice…

She coughed at my words and I pulled out some barley iced tea from my storage spell and poured it in a cup and handed it over to her giggling…

"mugicha?" she looked up at me blushing a little as she asked…

I smiled and nodded to her… she giggled and drink some tea… mom came over and wiped away some of the rice from her face and asked if it was a good idea to give her tea…

"momma it is Mugicha tea… eh… brother said it was good for sister…" Luisa almost spilled out something before she regained herself…

"Mugicha tea is made of barley and does not have sweets or caffeine…" I explained to mom smiling as I poured her a cup..

She took a sip from the cup and smiled to me… I took out some more cups and handed it to her, she took them and walked around giving everybody tea…

Luisa fell back on my chest after she eat half of the bento… she pointed at some rice but I told her that she should wait a little before eating more… she nodded to me and took a sip from the tea…

Mia came over and sat down next to me giggling at Anabel having a tired gaze on her face… I am guessing she did not stop in time as I look down at her smiling in pain to me, I reached out my hand and eased up on her tummy ache… she put her tiny hands around them and rested her head on my arm… Mia giggled to me as I looked awkward down at my stuck hand…

I looked up at Mia giggling a little but she looked terrified past me towards the trees in the distance… I turned around and looked in the general direction she was looking… no enemies, only trees and bushes. That's when I noticed three distinct cuts on the trees stem…
