"How much longer is this going to take? Every time Lilli has a contraction she is in agony. She hasn't been allowed to eat since breakfast and that was more than twelve hours ago. Moll will only let her have ice to suck on. Why is this taking so long?" Shiro's voice quivers as he paces the room. The ones who have been through this just smile at him. 

"Son it's really not been that bad yet. She has only been having the hard pains for a few hours. She is doing fine I promise you ." Astila tells Shiro. 

"Of course you would say that your a Dr your used to making things sound better than they are." Shiro pouts as he looks at the stairs. 

"no not really, it's true your mom was in labor for three days with you and two with your sister. The only one that was easy was Haru. " Akio tells his son.
