A peak into the past

After a loud and delicious dinner Shiro takes Wufan and his other brothers out to the garden to do some bonding . Lilli goes to get ready for training at the temple. Selene follows Lilli to her room. 

"The monk that came today, what do you know about him?" Selene asks Lilli . 

"Only that he has been at the temple for several centuries. He is the head monk and gave Daisy permission to stay at the temple. I know Shiro told me that he has worn talismans to hide his gifts from those around him. He says that his powers are nearly gone. Why is something wrong?" Lilli asks Selene. 

"the only way a fox loses his power is if he loses his tails and becomes human. That only happens when he finds his soulmate and a sacrifice has been made. Since that has not happened then he is lying about something. Do not trust him, I feel that he is up to something." Selene tells Lilli before going to the sanctuary.
