Redemption

Alan slowly opened his eyes, wincing as a sharp pain throbs in his head. As he blinks away the sleep, he realizes that he's in a hospital room. The stark white walls and the smell of antiseptic immediately remind him of where he is. He tries to sit up, but a dull ache in his ribs makes him groan and lie back down.

As he looks around the room, he notices that he's not alone. In the bed next to him, he sees his friend Shelby, also hooked up to a bunch of machines. She's asleep, her chest rising and falling in a slow, steady rhythm.

Alan's mind races as he tries to piece together what happened. He remembers getting into a fight, but the details are fuzzy. He knows he had fainted, but he can't remember how he ended up here.

He tries to call out for anyone, but his throat is dry and scratchy, making it difficult to speak. After a few attempts, Barry comes in to check on him. He notices that he's awake and asks him how he's feeling. Alan tries to answer, but the words come out in a hoarse whisper.

He gives him a glass of water, which he gratefully accepts. As he takes a sip, memories of the fight come flooding back to him. He remembers the adrenaline rush of the moment, the sound of fists hitting flesh, and the sudden pain as someone landed a punch on his head.

He looks over at Barry, wondering if he was hurt as badly as he was. He can see him standing up pretty easily with a little bit of bandage around his arms and head. Alan wonders how strong Barry was as he recovered too easily.

As he lies back down, exhausted from the effort of speaking. Despite the pain in his head and ribs, he feels a sense of determination wash over him. He's not going to let this defeat him.

A day passes by as Alan finally starts to regain his strength and is now able to walk on his own, he notices Shelby is not present but doesn't think too much. Barry came in to discharge him and placed Alan's hand on his shoulder to help him walk out.

There was a Taxi situated outside waiting for them, they both got in and started their journey.

"Where are we going?", questioned Alan while grabbing a drink from the mini-fridge.

"To gain information about the fight" answered Barry.

As they pass through the city they witness some outstanding views.

The streets are filled with people hurrying to their destinations, and the sound of car horns and engines fills the air. The sidewalks are lined with vendors selling their wares, and the aromas of street food drift through the air, this makes Alan hungry and mesmerized. As you travel through the city, you see a mix of the old and new architecture. Some buildings are adorned with intricate carvings and decorative features, while others are sleek and modern. As you travel further into the residence, you see a mix of old and new architecture. Some houses are adorned with intricate carvings and decorative features, while others are sleek and modern.

They both stop at the huge mansion and Alan was amazed by the view.

the mansion was in a purple texture with grand and imposing appearances and a facade covered in deep shades of purple that created a sense of richness and luxury. The walls were made of stucco, which added depth and visual interest to the exterior.

"Welcome to the Myers Mansion," said Barry while getting out of the taxi.

The doors in Infront of them opened as they entered the house. upon knocking they were met with Hazel who was wearing a plaster on her hand.

She invited both of them in and brought some tea for them as they sat down.

"So what's the report?" asked Barry.

"You see the people who we fought before don't belong in our land because one of them had the power of hypnosis" replied Hazel.

"I met one too when I was fighting alone he had some sort of corruption power and he made my system shut down" added Alan.

"The guy who I fought was a samurai" commented Barry.

Hearing this everyone was quiet.

"But weren't they a peaceful clan" questioned Alan.

"That's what I thought too" replied Barry.

They all exchanged info for the next 20 min and after that Barry and Alan got up and left the mansion.

They walked for a while until they reached the redemption center and walked in with faces of joy. The center had a sky roof which allowed the calm light to intercept and the room itself was well-built and had a chill vibe. There was no employee present as the whole system was self-based. They both saw a booth free and reached it. It was a machine that had the title "Mission Redemption" on it.

Alan and Barry both inserted their cards which were provided by the facility and acted as a credit card.

(Machine whires)

After a few moments, both their cards came out of the machine.

"1000 credits have been transferred thank you for your service"

There is a moment of silence before they both look each other in the eyes with stunned looks.

"Lez go, our first paycheck!" shouted both of them in a unison.

Barry being an irresponsible adult decided to treat themselves to some decent shopping.

They wandered off some distance until they finally found a market.

"So what do you wanna buy?" questioned Alan.

"I wanna get a console because it gets hella boring at home and because it's my money I get to do anything with it unlike before when the master restricted everything" stated Barry.

Alan had the most shocked face after hearing his statement and was questioning him to be his teacher.

"Aren't you gonna buy some skill books or equipment that will help in battle?" asked Alan.

"You see that's the problem the Type light doesn't have any abilities that can be bought and the ability that we use are custom-made by our spirit as you made with the wind "Cyclonic winds" I suppose" replied Barry.

They both parted ways as Alan went to search for something interesting for his benefit.

He saw multiple skill centers but couldn't find the one that would suit him the best. After a while of searching, he was about to give up but he saw a strange booth selling skill books. He decided to give it a try and finally, his eye caught something interesting just to fill his satisfaction.
