Seb's pov

I found Avery by the table having a drink as she turned she smiled at me and I saw she was with her brother who was choking on the soda he was drinking."Avery, Jonathan meet my best friend Ryan and his date Whitney and Ryan this is Avery and her brother Jonathan," I introduced. By the mention of Avery's name Whitney turned to look at her. Rica met her gaze equally as she smiled but Whitney's smile faltered and she looked away. Rica took my hand and dragged me to the stage as she said," It is our time to sing or Mr Dante will have our throats. "I laughed haughtily as I let her pull me with her. On the stage Mr Dante announced our performance. "My best students from music class will open the dance by singing Zendaya's song Rewrite the stars. "The lights went out as the stage lights shine on us and I started.

I let the music carry me on as I heard her voice after me finishing.

And I looked up at her and saw that she was looking at Whitney and I knew that tonight was the day I would have to let her go. She might have changed her identity but her heart still belonged to Whitney and no amount of make over could change that. Even without her telling me I know she did it and I would do everything to show her my gratitude. Even though I had grown up in a homophobic environment the love I saw in their eyes for each other changed my mind about who one should love. The whole school clapped and she got of the stage and ran in her silver heels. I followed her out as she ran out into the parking lot. I was about to get to her but I saw her run into her brothers arms. She cried as I watched her cry tears streaming down her face in black stains. Jonathan motioned for me to stay where I was and I watched it unravel. I looked at Jonathan and noticed how tough he had become. Before he was bullied for being gay and beaten up but I never saw him fight back but three days ago he fought for his sister against the person he feared most. Mario did nasty things to Jonathan that the whole school knew but nobody ever came to his defense. It was that day Rica came that changed everything as she fought for him. When she walked into school she became the most beautiful, popular girl in school without even trying which scared Madison.

Every single guy had tried to claim her but she gave them the blind eye. When she winked at Whitney everybody was confused because they weren't sure if she was gay. When I saw the two kiss I was sure there was more than what meets the eye and it seemed they had a history.This girl had changed everything in my life from the first time I saw her. When her "death" was announced I just couldn't believe it but when the media sent pictures of her in a casket I bought it. I looked at her as she stopped crying and smiled at me. "I'm sorry I get emotional over silly things and that song triggered old memories that I want them gone," she said. I smiled at her as I pulled her away from her brother and felt the need to protect her. I embraced her as she tensed under my hold but relaxed gradually. She pulled away from me as she pulled off the wig and threw it in the car. "This heels are killing me," she said as she took them off. I watched in amusement as she wiped the lipstick from her mouth by the back of her hand as she complained about make up.

She got in the car and got out after five minutes with no make up and no dress. She had wore a matching black denim shirt and pants. She had combed her short hair and now she looked better the way she said it."Now boys why don't we take this time to go and visit Seb's house," she suggested. We all agreed to it but she asked to take my bike as I drive in her brother's car. I gave them the address to my new house which I wasn't embarrassed to take anyone anymore. Rica had asked her brother to race with her as she drove past the car and into the city lights at lightning speed. She was riding so fast I thought she would get into an accident. When we got there she was standing at the gate picking her nails. "You cheated," said Johnny. She cocked her eyebrow as she started laughing as she walked towards us. "Stop being a sore loser and let Sebastian here show us his house.

I punched the combination code of the gate and we drove in. Rica parked the bike next to my father's Ferrari. I walked them to the house and found that no one was home. "Welcome to my humble abode," I said. She nodded as she looked around the house with a huge smile plastered on her face. "Guys let's not stare at each other here let's grab some drinks and go swimming," she shouted. We all laughed at her excitement as I walked to my dad's bar by the side of the house and grabbed some drinks. After getting drank Rica pushed us into the pool and ran off. We chased her around the house till midnight. After we were to tired to do anything we passed out at the sitting room. I realized one thing about her, that she was someone who considered others happiness before her own and I made it my life's new mission to give her her own share of happiness and I knew just where to find it. The thing is would she accept it.
