Forever Destined to the Silver Shadow

When the man in front of her tried to touch her hand, she instinctively took a step back from him—as she didn’t want him to get hurt.  “Please don’t touch me for your sake,” she said to him.  The man smiled a little and replied,” Don’t worry about me, Celestia! Nothing will happen to me.” She was startled as he had called her by her actual name. She had kept her identity a secret—as no one is supposed to know who she really is.  “How do you know my…. real name?” she asked him nervously.  “I know everything about you, Celestia,” he said and moved near her. “I know you better than you know yourself—" Her heart throbbed when his hand got near her skin. She thought that he would be thrown away from her and get severely injured—just like all the other men did. But surprisingly, nothing happened to him when his sturdy hand clasped her pearly white fingers. With his other hand, he held her chin and fixed his alluring gaze on her.  “How... How are you even able to touch me?” Celestia asked him.  “Because you are mine—" he answered in a deep tone. “Others weren’t able to touch you—as you only belong to me—" She winced slightly when he suddenly grabbed her tiny waist and pulled her closer to him. Then he leaned down and kissed her pale cheek.  “Only I get to touch and kiss and make love to you! Because you are forever destined to live with me,” he whispered in her ear and made her shudder.  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ He is feared by everyone else in her kingdom. Recreating The Shield

Celestia's POV:

After the court was adjourned, Father Oberon got up from his throne and walked away without glancing at me. He does this whenever he is mad at me.

"Father, please listen to me," I cried and ran behind him. Darius followed us both.

He entered his private room and placed his Crown on the side table, which was beside the bed.

"I did that for a reason. If I had not agreed to their demands, then I would be letting you down," I confessed.

He finally turned to me, but I didn't dare to meet his eyes. I gazed down and waited for his anger to diminish a bit.

"Celestia, you have now let me down by agreeing to their demands," my father roared. " You are a great Fae warrior, but you are not ready to battle the Silver Shadow."

"But the Mage Lord Arcadia didn't say that Silver Shadow was attacking them. Only dark forces are a threat there, and I can tackle them effortlessly."

My explanation didn't convince him. " Don't you understand what is happening here? Silver Shadow is the one who gave the moonstone to Princess Lilin. He caused this whole commotion just to lure you."

I got tensed. What have I done? If I go there tomorrow, Silver Shadow will definitely be there. What if my vision comes true?

"No....," I screamed out. " I don't want to go there. I don't want my visions to come true."

"I am sorry, what vision?" my father questioned me.

Did I say that aloud? Why did I have to say that now? He still doesn't know about my visions.

Darius stepped in front of me and said, " I am sorry that you get to know this now. But Celestia has not been herself ever since she met him. He is somehow giving her these visions, and he is also suppressing her angelic powers."

I thought that my father would yell at me for another ten minutes, but he didn't. "Why didn't you tell me before? I have an antidote for this."

"There is an antidote for this," I gasped. I thought that I would have to live like this forever.

He went to the corner of the room and opened his coffer. He keeps invaluable artifacts in there. No one is allowed to touch the treasure chest except him.

He took out something like a necklace from it and gave it to me. It had a big emerald green stone in it. It reminded me of Silver Shadow's eyes. His eyes are green, just like this crystal. Holy Aiden! Why can't I stop thinking about him?

"This is a revelation amulet. No dark forces can control your mind when you are wearing this. You will know the difference between the enchantment and reality while you are wearing this," he explained.

I wore the amulet around my neck immediately. I felt a lot better than before. I am finally free from illusions. I bowed to my Father Oberon.

"Thank you so much, Father. I now have the strength and confidence to battle the Shadow troops," I said.

"But there is something you need to know. If someone snatches away this amulet from your neck, then you will not be immune to the enchantment."

"I will be careful about that, Father," I responded.

I am coming for you, Silver Shadow! He is going to pay for everything he did for me.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now I get why the Mage Lord Arcadia was cranky yesterday at the courtroom. We were on the battlefield for more than an hour. The Shadow creatures are appearing here every five minutes.
So far, the Fathomless warriors must have destroyed twenty monsters. Edwin was a good leader. He instructed each one of his fellow warriors to focus on a specific monster.
Edwin ordered the new warriors to battle weak monsters like Lemures and Shriekers. Edwin and I together fought the powerful demons like Manticores and Banshees.
Today I was able to fight off the monsters quickly. Even though I was just using my Fae powers, I felt complete. I wasn't a bit distracted by the Silver Shadow. It must be the power of the amulet. I am never going to take off this thing from my neck.
Darius was not battling with us. He was standing close to the border, and he tried hard to recreate the shield. He has been doing this for the past twenty minutes.
Darius was constantly emitting Sapphire blue flames from his palms to recreate the invisible barrier back. But it was taking him a lot of energy. I thought he would be able to handle it alone, but it looks like he is struggling.
The sapphire blues flames in his hands dwindled a little bit. He definitely needs help now. If he fails in recreating the shield, then the barrier would be completely shattered. And even more, monsters would enter through the border.
I can't let that happen! Edwin can take care of these demons alone. He is already doing an excellent job so far. I am going to help Darius now.
I went to the edge of the Celestial realm and glanced down a little. I have been here many times, and every time I look down there, I get apprehensive. It was a deep blue space, and only stars were visible.
Why do I get anxious whenever I see this? Perhaps it is because the Demon Queen Lilith lives on the other side.
"Celestia, why are you here? It would be best if you get back to the battlefield," Darius shouted through agony.
"No, you need my help," I said. "You can't do this alone."
I clutched his hand firmly. Both of our energies got converged, and pale green color flames radiated from our hands.
"How are you doing this?" Darius screamed. " You don't know how to do a convergence spell."
"I have no idea," I said. Maybe the amulet is also enhancing my powers. I was happy to realize that I am making progress.
In no time, the barrier was sealed again. Darius beamed at me. " I am so proud of you," he said.
Edwin and the rest of the Fathomless warriors took care of all the monsters. We won the battle! I protected my people. All the credit goes to the emerald amulet. If not for it, Silver Shadow would have distracted me as usual.
Suddenly, I heard a pleasant smooth sound. I have never heard anything like this. The music was so mellifluous enough to calm my mind.
But Darius seemed not to like the sound. Why is he always serious? It would be nice if he relaxes once in a while and appreciates good music like this.
"Everybody, stay alert. The Sirens are here," Darius roared.
