After arriving home a while later,Mo Moyan sent a text to Chen Jiahe notifying her that she had gotten home.

Few minutes later,Chen Jiahe replied her text saying 'No need to thank me...You really made my day and I'm happy to have come across such fun and kind lady like you.Wishing you goodnight'.As she read the text,a smile flashed past her face.

Immediately,she also texted Chen Jiahe back and was about to walk upstairs when she noticed the man leaning against the stairs staring at her and instantly froze.

As they both stood staring at each other,Mo Moyan decided to break the silence,"Hey you,why are you staring at me like that?"

"Who were you texting just now?"The man asked in a low yet threatening tone and Mo Moyan frowned.

"Who...did...you go to meet?"He asked again,this time walking towards her with a predatory look.

Feeling agitated and alarmed,she hastily replied,"I went to meet a friend."

Seeing him get too close to her,her breathing became haggard and unsteady and when he leaned closer to her she smelt his fresh minty breath and was lost to herself.She closed her eyes and was awaiting his kiss yet after several minutes,she didn't feel the man's lips on hers and opened her eyes only to see him staring at her with a mocking smile.

God!How could she embarrass herself like this?

Feeling awkward and ashamed,she bowed her head and hurriedly walked past him.

Before she could take another step,the man's magnetic voice rang stopping her in her track,"I'll be going for a business meeting next tomorrow but I have some things to do in the office so I won't be home for some days."Without turning back,Mo Moyan walked up the stairs completely ignoring the man.
