HE CANCELED THE BOARD MEETING TO GO LOOK FOR HER

After bidding farewell to the interviewers,Mo Moyan got out of the interview room and after breaking the news to Song Yan who was on break by then,she followed her to a nice restaurant where they had some nice drinks and food.

Due to the fact that Song Yan was on break,they only spent some thirty minutes before they both parted ways.

Since it had been long Mo Moyan went out to look for job and had not come back,Nana who was feeling anxious decided to call Lu Jin and report the matter to him.

Meanwhile,in the Legendary Star Entertainment Group headquarters,Lu Jin was preparing to have an important board meeting.

Recently,his father and his useless son have been visiting some of the board members and were trying to move them to their side.

He never paid attention to their foolish deeds until he learnt that some of the board members were now siding with his father to go against him and push him out of the company.

Those foolish pigheaded fools!They want to reap where they did not sow right?Today he was going to give them a better chance,either get destroyed or retrieve your shares.

As he and Harry prepared to go into the meeting room,his phone rang and after checking to see that it was Nana,he swiftly picked it up.

" Lu Jin,have you heard from miss Mo?"He heard the worry visible in Nana's voice and tensed up.

What was wrong with Mo Moyan?Or is she really pregnant?

" No,Nana...Is she not in the house?"

" Why would I be calling you if she was in the house?She told me she wanted to go find a job at ShopNyc and she's not yet back,that's why I called you?"

Find a job?What's wrong with that stupid girl?Doesn't she know she's the wife of a CEO?

" Don't worry Nana,I'll go look for her."

After assuring Nana,Lu Jin disconnected the call and scowled.

" Hey boss,what's up with that look?"Harry noticed the change in his mood and couldn't help but ask.

" Cancel the meeting."

" Huh!?"Harry seemed not to have heard him well and asked,"What did you just say?"

" Cancel the damn meeting!"

" But this meeting is important and you know it.We can't just cancel it like that."

Harry couldn't believe what his boss was ordering him to do.There was a big problem now and if they don't solve it,it might escalate into something else.

" Call Ning Jie and ask her to cancel the meeting,I'll be downstairs waiting for you and if you're not there in three minutes,you'll be fired."

With long strides and hands in pockets,Lu Jin walked into the elevator and after reaching downstairs,he got into the backseat of his car.

Two minutes later,Harry was done instructing Ning Jie,Lu Jin's secretary on what to do and joined him in the car downstairs.

" Now would you tell me where we're going?"Harry asked after he got into the driver's seat and buckled up.

" ShopNyc....Mo Moyan said she went there to look for job."

Oh,now he understood why he was all furious back then.It seemed he had met a match in his cute little wife.Only she was daring enough to go against him.And she chose ShopNyc,a little shop just to work,it was total insult to his proud and arrogant boss of a friend.

In front of the restaurant which was just a block away from ShopNyc,Mo Moyan stood at the roadside as she waited to get a taxi.

She had been standing there for a while now but couldn't get a taxi.She knew that Nana was probably feeling worried about her keeping long but without a phone,she couldn't call her and assure her that she was okay.

She promised herself that after she gets her first pay,she'll buy a phone.

Luckily for her,a taxi pulled to a stop in front of her and she got in.As the taxi pulled away and passed by ShopNyc,a black Porsche Taycan pulled into the parking lot of ShopNyc.

The car was a 2020 built car and was the first ever in the world and as such it attracted the attention of passersby who were curious as to who was in the expensive car.

In surprise,they watch a handsome young man step out of the car and opened the back seat door.

If they say the young man who got out first was the most handsome man,then they were lying,because out of the car,stepped out the most beautiful and gorgeous man they had ever seen.

Not only was he handsome,he was also exuding a dangerous aura that made him looked firm and unapproachable.

As he walked into ShopNyc,the crowd were still gathered and were trying to see if he was a new model.As they couldn't find news about any new male models in town,they were disappointed.

It was at this moment that someone shouted from amongst the crowd," That's Lu Jin,the wealthiest CEO and his assistant Harry Long."

Suddenly,those who took pictures of the two men felt giddy and frightened as they quickly went into their galleries and deleted the pics.

Even though the two men were famous,it was well known that they hate to be publicized.If they hadn't heard this now,they might have posted the pics and sign their own death.

In just a swift moment,the crowd dispersed into their various destinations as they were afraid to taste the wrath of the two most feared men.

Though Harry Long was just an assistant to Lu Jin,he was also a master of his own empire and was believed to make people disappear with just a snap of his fingers,just like his boss.

Meanwhile,Lu Jin and Harry once again caused quite a stir in the shop too.Many of the ladies who saw the two of them instantly fell in love with them but they knew they couldn't get close because of the dangerous looks they were giving them;which was clearly telling them to stay away.

As they walked to the receptionist desk,the young girl who was there suddenly started shaking in fear.

" Had miss Mo been here?"Lu Jin asked in an angry tone and the shop attendant shook her head.

Unfortunately,this shop attendant wasn't around when Mo Moyan came for the interview and was only at the front desk now because Song Yan who was supposed to be there went into the washroom.

" Miss Mo hadn't.....hadn't been here today."Since Mo Youyou was the friend of Ya Bai she,the manager of the shop,she thought the men were looking for her thus her reply.

Lu Jin's eyes darkened as he heard that Mo Moyan hadn't been there at all.

She lied to Nana..!She was actually going to meet her husband.

He was going to kill whoever that man is.

" Let's go!"Harry wanted to ask of Ya Bai and Song Yan but when he heard Lu Jin order in his superior tone,he decided to let go and follow him out into the car.

The shop attendant sighed in relief.

" That was Lu Jin,the CEO of L Star and his assistant."As the shop attendant listened to two young teenagers who just walked into the shop,her eyes bulged out in shock.

So that was the two most feared business men who just came in looking for Mo Youyou,the manager's friend?No wonder they looked frighteningly handsome.

Back at Lu Estates East Lane,Mo Moyan arrived a while ago and was sitting uncomfortably in the sofa.

Immediately she arrived home,Nana disclosed to her that she got worried and called Lu Jin.

As she sat in the chair,she was preparing herself for whatever was coming her way.

She had planned to tell him about her job in a nice way so as not to make him angry but now,she knew she was in big trouble.

Mo Moyan was anticipating his coming so she jumped from the sofa immediately she heard the car drive in and was preparing to let him watch a good show.

" Hey hubby,welcome home."She hurried over to him and hugged him with a smile.

This girl sure knows how to act.And she's even looking cute.If not for Harry been here,he would've carried her straight to the bedroom and really show her how to flirt.

Harry suddenly cleared his throat and Lu Jin clenched his fist.

Bringing him along was a bad idea.

" Where have you been?"Lu Jin asked as he slightly pushed her away from him.

She knew that Nana told him where she went so it was no good to her if she lies,she's already in trouble." I went to ShopNyc,to look for a job."She replied with her head bowed and Lu Jin scoffed.

" Have you always been this good at lying?"He stared at Mo Moyan in disgust." You know,I had wanted to believe you were innocent of the crime leveled against you eight years ago,but now,I think you actually did it."

Mo Moyan couldn't believe her ears and felt a pang of hurt in her heart.

So he even digged information about her and now he also believes she tried to kill Mo Youyou?

With tears in her eyes,she tried to defend herself," I didn't do it."

" How do you expect me to believe a big liar like you?"

" What're you talking about?I never lied to you.Ok,now tell me why you believe I lied."

" I went to ShopNyc and was told you never came there."Lu Jin revealed and Mo Moyan frowned.

It seems there was a misunderstanding somewhere.

" But I was there."Mo Moyan mumbled and Lu Jin stared at her in disbelief.

She was still lying to him?She's really shameless.

" What can you do to prove you really went there?"

He still doesn't believe her?

" I met a girl there who was really nice to me.....she said her name was Song Yan,she even gave me her number."

In disbelief,Lu Jin stretched his hand and took the piece of paper she handed to him.

" You were really there?"

Of course,Lu Jin knew Song Yan very well because she was Harry's employee but he still wanted to see if she had really been there.

Mo Moyan stormed out of their presence in anger and went upstairs into her room.
