A SPIT AND POLISH AUDITION

At exactly 6:00 am in the morning,Mo Moyan's alarm beeped waking her up.As she yawned and got off the bed,she noticed that the man wasn't there,instead in his place was a green simple sleeveless gown with a note on it.

As she walked to the other side of the bed and picked the note,she read it and smiled.

So he knew she was going for an audition and didn't try to stop her?He even chose a dress for her to wear and had also prepared breakfast?Who would've believed her frightening husband knows how to care for a woman?

She thought he was okay with her going for the audition but....the truth was because he believed she'll not be picked.He knew that CJ,which was also one of the biggest and famous entertainment groups in Y Country,had a high criteria for picking up their talents,so he was sure she was never going to get any position there.

Though she had a perfect figure,which would make other women jealous,she looked too soft and less energetic,they'll definitely rule her out without even a second glance.

20 minutes later,after she was done freshening up,she hurried downstairs and smiled when she saw Nana setting her breakfast table," Good morning,Nana."

Even though she hasn't fully accepted the position as the mistress of the house,she took Nana as her own mother and was nice and respectful towards her.

" Oh,you're here,that bastard made you some breakfast,"Nana announced playfully with a smile and Mo Moyan opened her eyes wide in shock.

He really prepared breakfast for her?

" Did he really prepare this all by himself or he had a little help?"Mo Moyan couldn't help but ask as she was surprised at the banquet in front of her.What was more shocking was that the meal was her favorite;which was toasted bread with cheese and green salad with coffee.

What was even more surprising to her was that when she tasted the coffee,it tasted just the way she likes it;less sugar and less milk.

She suddenly felt naked as she realised that he knew more about her than she knew of him.

Immediately she was done with her breakfast,she grabbed her purse and headed outside thinking of how she'll be able to get to the restaurant only to find out that he had arranged for one of his bodyguards to pick her in one of his expensive cars.

Since the car was the 2019 Lexus Lx which costs 99,364 dollars,it had some amazing features which includes an eight-speed automatic transmission and so it wasn't long before they got to the restaurant.

After the car pulled to a stop,the bodyguard who drove her hurriedly got off from the driver's seat and opened the car door for her.Because of the car she stepped down from and the kind of dress she was in,she attracted a lot of attention as everyone stopped to admire the expensive car and the beautiful lady.

Not being accustomed to that kind of attention,Mo Moyan suddenly felt uneasy and nervous and was grateful when the bodyguard shielded her as she walked into the restaurant.But even as she entered the restaurant,she was still the center of attraction.Whilst others stare at her in awe and admiration,others were eyeing her with contempt.

To some,she was just one of those rich brats who enjoy spending their parents money recklessly and flaunting their wealth about,whilst to others,she was the mistress of a rich man.

As she looked at the time,she noticed she still had 30 minutes before Song Suyan gets there so she decided to order a drink,forgetting she did not bring any money along with her.

At exactly 7:20 am Song Suyan arrived and as Mo Moyan opened her purse,she found it empty.

God!She had forgotten she had used her last dollar to take taxi yesterday.As she watched the restaurant attendant walking towards them,she decided to borrow some money from Song Suyan.

" I need 5 dollars to pay for the drink,I'll give it to you later."

Upon hearing this,the young man who served the drink suddenly frowned as he approached them," Uhhm,miss,your bill had already been taken care of."He revealed handing her a black swipe card."Someone already paid before you ordered and this card is for you."As she stood in shock contemplating what to do,she received a message from Lu Jin.

" That's your swipe card,from now on,it belongs to you...You can use it anyhow you want."

As she read the message,she sighed.

So it was him!

After receiving the swipe card,they walked out of the restaurant and got into the car,after which it sped away.

After a 40 minutes drive,they arrived at the CJ entertainment headquarters and were surprised to find the entrance full of people.

Song Suyan phoned her friend and she came out of the interview room to meet them.

" It's been a long time dear."The woman who seemed younger than Song Suyan exclaimed excitedly after they hugged each other," So she's the one?"She asked as she accessed Mo Moyan sizing her from head to toe.

" Mhhhm!This is Mo Moyan and Mo Moyan this is Rao Ning,my friend."Song Suyan introduced and Mo Moyan smiled at Rao Ning.

" She looks too soft and feeble,are you sure she's up for the challenge?"

" Do you dare underestimate my judgment?Have you forgotten I'm an artist manager just like you?"

" Well,I just want to be sure she's not one of those rich daughters who think they can act just because they are not perfect at anything."

" She's not a rich daughter,now let's go do what we came here for."

" Kk,sure."Rao Ning replied and led them into the interview room.Even though the audition was not a public one where everyone can see what the person who came to audition for was doing,some actresses,agents and technical assistants were allowed into the audition room and amongst this people was a guy who was wearing a micro camera on his shirt.

Meanwhile,at the L Star entertainment headquarters,a certain someone who had wanted to watch his wife audition sent someone into the audition room with a camera to be able to watch his wife perform,but was stucked watching other boring people instead.

Just as he decided to disconnect his phone,he saw his wife walk in with Rao Ning and Song Suyan and suddenly,his interest arose.

After Song Suyan and Rao Ning sat down,they began asking her questions.

" So,young woman,what is your name?"Rao Ning's partner a middle aged man asked eyeing her keenly.

" Mo Moyan...."

" How old are you?"

" 25....."

" Married or single?"Rao Ning asked with a strict look and Mo Moyan paused for a while before replying.

" Kinda married,kinda single."

Everyone laughed and furrowed their brows at her.

" Why that answer?"

" Coz I'm in a kind of marriage where you'll not know when your debts will be paid and you would be divorced."She explained with hidden meaning and everyone frowned in confusion:Yet,Lu Jin understood her perfectly and scowled.

So because the contract states that she must marry him as a repayment of the compensation she owed him,she believed he married her just for that?She's really stupid!If he did not feel anything for her,he wouldn't have married her because money doesn't mean anything to him.

He's definitely going to teach her a lesson at home today.

Even Song Suyan also think she's bold enough to talk about her marriage to the entertainment lord that way.

" So you mean you're in a marriage where you don't know your status?"

" Yes...Definitely."

" OK,now let's get back to the main reason why we're here.Are you ready to show us what you've got?"Rao Ning asked and Mo Moyan nodded.

Lu Jin smiled as he glued his eyes on the screen,probably waiting to watch a good show.
