Jiwoo snarled at Nari, she looked at her from her head to her toes in disgust, which was clearly visible in her face.

Nari looked down her legs embarrassed by the way she was being stared at.

She felt a burning rage within her but she could not let it out, even if it was going to burn her.

Jiwoo adverted her gaze from Nari.

'I'm asking for the second time, she squats with you?'.

Nari raised her head to look at Jiwoo.

'Squat?'. She thought.

How low did Elvis' Mom really thinks of her, she felt abused.

'Mom..' Elvis called but gets interrupted.

'Just answer with a yes or a no, I don't need your speech'. Jiwoo snapped.

Elvis closed his eyes tight trying to control his anger.

'She's is not squatting with me Mom, she is living with me'. Elvis corrected.

'So she does not have a home to stay, that's the reason she's with you'. Jiwoo scoffed and looked back at Nari's, who was throwing daggers at her.

A showdown of smile appears on Jiwoo's lips which disappeared almost immediately.

She stood up from the couch and walked close to Nari, ignoring the call from Elvis.

'So you know how to glare and you're doing that to me..' She walks closer to Nari, who adjusted back in horror.

'The nerve'. Jiwoo breathed.

Nari quickly fell on her knees, she did not know her inner anger was already visible on her face, she had tried to control herself but it didn't work.

She looked at the ground, her hand holding her knees tight.

She couldn't raised her head to meet the hard glare from Jiwoo.

'I'm sorry mom, I had a rough day at work so….'

'And when did I accept you as a daughter?'. Jiwoo glare on Nari hardened more.

Nari could feel the coldness from her voice with the hatred that followed.

She could not understand why Jiwoo had an undying hatred for her.

They've only meant once, even if they did not have any close contact with each other.

'I'm sorry Mrs Park, I'll make sure not to make that mistake again '. She quickly apologised.

'You know because of you I'm about getting disgraced, just because of a thing like you'. She screamed.

She suddenly remembered her bragging about her son having something with Chaeyoung not knowing it was actually her nephew, it angered her more laying her eyes on Nari.

'Mom that's enough'.

They heard Elvis hissed ordered as he walked towards them.

He went to Nari wrapping his hands protectively around her shoulders, assisting her in standing up,

Nari looked at Elvis expression, he looked angry but not at her, rather his mom.

She felt a tingling sensation in her stomach, but she couldn't let her face capture the kind of emotion she was feeling.

She felt happy, joyous and victorious. She looked at Jiwoo to get a quick peak at her shock expression.

'Nari's not a thing Mom, she's my wife and I don't care what you're going to do, grandfather already approved of her and you can't say otherwise'. Elvis warned.

'Then you think I can't go to him and make him refute his decision?'. She grumbled.

'Then go ahead Mom, go to him, tell him'. Elvis knew his mother would not be able to talk the old man out of their getting married , he will instead bring up the issues going on their family, which his mom is avoiding.

'Mom just stop this please, Nari is a sweet girl if you get to know her'. Elvis pleaded.

'Sweet?'. She blurted out in a roar of laughter.

'You don't even know the type of person you're with Elvis'. She said and looked at Nari.

She went to the couch and took her bag, and walked to them.

'You know what dad told me before I got married?'. She didn't wait for his reply and continued.

'If you make a wrong decision now, it might be hard to go back and right your wrongs, now I can see what he meant'. With that she walked out of the door.

Elvis stood on his spot, his hands still around Nari, but his grips tightened.

Nari should feel the pain in her shoulder, but she was to angry and scared to care, wondering what the witch knew about her.

She felt uncomfortable, the way Jiwoo talked was as if she knew a lot about her that no one knows about.

She fiddled with her dress scared and lost in thoughts.

'Nari.. Nari.' She heard Elvis slightly shaking her, taking her out of her deep thoughts.

'Are you okay?, I'm sorry about that, Mom can be like that sometimes'. He said trying to make her feel better and understand.

Nari gave him a forced smile and shook her head.

'I didn't take it to heart, I'm fine'. She said but Elvis was not buying any of it.

'Nar….'

The sound of her phone ringing stopped him from continuing further.

Nari checked her phone and saw it was her manager.

She tells Elvis she was going upstairs and left, leaving Elvis looking stressed as he watched her climb the stairs.

'What?'. Nari screamed as she picked the call.

'I'm sorry, Eunwoo is not picking up, I tried so many times but…'

'Don't call her any more, leave her the fuck alone, I'm not going anywhere'. She screamed out loud and ended the call.

She sat on the ground with her knees held close to her chest.

She felt uncomfortable, thinking about Jiwoo's words, with the question running around in her head.

'What exactly she knew about her'.

She had to be careful with her actions now that Jiwoo was suspicious of her.

She knew Jiwoo would do anything to destroy her since she resented her.

She suddenly thought about it.

What if Chaeyoung had said something about her to Jiwoo, that's the reason why Jiwoo resented her even before knowing her.

Maybe Chaeyoung had bribed Jiwoo with gifts in other to make her life hell, being the wife of Elvis.

Now everything was starting to come together, it's all Chaeyoung's doing, she's the mastermind behind all of it.

Nari's fingers clenched in a fist and she bit her lips angrily.

'I'll make sure to destroy you Seo Chaeyoung, you b*tch'.

She had to get rid of Chaeyoung if she want to live a peaceful life with her Elvis and their unborn child.
