The next day Lucian sat in his office at the council, holding a book, he opened the book that talks about creatures, he turned the pages and stopped when it read about 'MERMAIDS' They are creatures that lives in the sea, they are powerful and they posses different abilities which are, some can see the future, some could read minds, some can heal, some can control minds and they are some other rare abilities too but the most powerful of all is the Queen Mermaid, she has got lots of abilities, she is the most beautiful of all. The Queen Mermaid is to choose a soulmate, her heart links with his and they are to make a baby, who would also be Queen Mermaid when she comes off age. Mermaids are special creatures that are rare to find in the entire world, they are beautiful creatures and also they fall in lust easily, they have heat burning within them, that makes them always want to make love with their soulmate and no other, also.... Lucian stopped reading when he heard a knock on his door, he turned,

"Master?" He could hear Theodore's voice from the other side of the door,

"Come in," Lucian said simply and Theodore stepped into the dimly lit office office and saw his Master sitted with a book in his hand, he bowed

"The witch has been caught, she is in the dungeon and ready for interrogation," Theodore spoke still bowing, Lucian only stared at him,

"I will be there," he said and at once Theodore left him, Lucian turned back to look in to the book he was reading to continue 'Also their eyes turn white whenever they are in heat and are close to their soulmate' Lucian stopped and grinned before getting up, he kept the book on his table and walked into the corridor of the council's building,

"Greetings, Prince Lucian," A brown haired man greeted, he had deep red eyes.

"Hello Lincoln," Lucian grinned

"Congrats on catching the witch, she and her fellow witches has been causing lots of troubles," Lincoln said frowning

"They have, I am indeed proud of myself and my team for being able to catch her," Lucian grinned staring at the vampire who only nodded and smiled,

"I heard you were getting married again," Linc said

"I see, so?" Lucian asked and Linc just cleared his throat not wanting to upset Lucian.

"No.... Nothing," he chuckled "Just what I heard,"

"Great," Lucian said coldly "You must have found the news amusing?"

"I.... I-"

"Excuse me, Mr Harris, I have got far more important things to handle, instead of gossiping, you see am not like some others," Lucian spoke glaring at him and Linc only nodded nervously.

"I..... Should be on my way too," he said

Lucian walked away from him and he could do nothing but just stare. Lucian walked into the dungeon where the witch was chained in. The witch on noticing someone enter her cell, she raised her head from where she was sitting on the floor, she was a beautiful young looking woman with brown long hair and blue eyes, Lucian grinned looking at her,

"Alice, thought I warned you when we last met, I told you to quit your evil doings but you turned a deaf ear to my words, now you are going to have to bare the consequences?" He chuckled and the witch named Alice only stared in panic at the crazy pure blooded vampire standing before her,

"Crazy vampire! What do you want now?" Alice spoke glaring hard at Lucian who only grinned amused.

"What I want? I want to know exactly what you and your sisters were doing close to the sea, what ritual were you performing before you got caught," Lucian said and the witch only cackled, Lucian raised one eye brow up "Found anything amusing?" The witch only continued cackling, until suddenly she found that she was choking, she raised her gaze to look at Lucian who in one single raise of his hand, Alice's neck was in his tight gasp, she struggled to get out of his hold, trashing, she used her sharp nails to scratch his face, where blood dripped from the angry lines on his face, in anger he tossed her straight to the wall and she winced in pain, she saw the wounds on Lucian's face heal and once again his face was smooth and he grinned,

"I would never tell you!" Alice said in pain,

"You would..... After am done with you," he went close to where she was sitting on the floor and wincing in pain, he picked her up with her shoulders to stand straight, she just stared at him in horror "Are you ready to speak?" He asked once again,

"No!" The witch yelled and suddenly felt a harsh pain under her jaw as Lucian punched her hard, and he continued hitting her face brutally till she was badly injured with lots of blood dripping from her injuries, she fell slack on the floor, powerless, Lucian brought out his handkerchief and wiped the blood off his hands seriously,

"Now, are you ready to speak or perhaps you haven't had enough yet?" He asked as he saw the witch try to sit up now scared of the vampire "Ready?" She nodded at once,

"Good witch, you made me damage your pretty face for nothing," Lucian smirked as he said,

"Now start talking, I haven't got time to spend with a witch,"

"We..... We were indeed performing a ritual but I promise it wasn't to hurt any human," she said wincing as she spoke,

"Vampires then or perhaps werewolves?" Lucian asked,

"Neither, they are other creatures," the witch said,

"Care to tell?" Lucian asked again, even tho having a hint,

"Mermaids," Alice said and watch how Lucian's facial expression didn't change "You seem to know of their existence?"

"Tell me more?" Lucian said "What were you going to do to them?"

"We were performing a ritual that would help us lure one mermaid from the ocean, when that ritual is performed we would be able to lure a mermaid close to the surface and capture it," she explained

"Then do what?"

"We sacrifice it, then we would gain enough power to be able to fight against you pure blooded vampires and also pure breed werewolves,"

"Hmm, I see, have you ever caught one?" Lucian asked,

"We haven't been able to capture any mermaid but we had to keep trying," she paused suddenly in thought and then grinned wickedly "I read that mermaids blood are quite delicious, if you allow me and my sisters catch one, then perhaps we could share her blood with you to enjoy, do you want that?" She grinned widely, thinking to bribe the vampire, who smirked.

"It's a tempting offer but I think I will pass, I also heard that witches blood are quite appetizing, so instead of waiting for you and your sisters to go on a mission which you might fail in, why not devour you right now?" He smirked wickedly while the witche's eyes went wide,

"No! No please spare me! My blood doesn't taste good," she spoke scared, one thing she had learnt in her short encounter with this vampire was to never underestimate him, he could do anything, Lucian suddenly chuckled,

"Well it was pleasant talking to you," he turned to leave,

"Wait!" She shouted and Lucian halt wondering what the witch wanted to say, he turned towards the witch, who was up from where she was sitting on the floor, she went close to him, seductively,

"You are one handsome man, you know?" She said as she using her finger tips to stroke his hard chest, Lucian just grinned and stared at her knowing what the witch was getting at "Just let me please you here and you would let me go, I will please you in a way you would never have expected, even your wife wouldn't be able to make you feel the way I will, so handsome do we have a deal?" She asked grinning seductively,

"You sure are dumb for a witch, with your disfigured face, do you still think you can charm men with this face?" Lucian chuckled as he watch the witche's jaw drop "Sorry but no deal and also enjoy your stay here because it's going to be a really long stay," he turned walking away,

"Please save me! Don't leave me here, I promise to be good," the witch pleaded but Lucian didn't turn as he walked out.

Sabrina and Elena sat on a bench in the castle garden at noon, Elena turned to look at Sabrina's face, who was just staring at the beautiful flowers surrounding them, the castle's garden was so beautiful and huge she had fallen in love with this place,

"The wedding is fast approaching," Elena said and Sabrina turned to look at her friend in worry,

"In a day, I will be married to that devil-"

"Shhh," Elena said covering Sabrina's mouth "You don't want anyone to hear that. Look Sabrina, it's really a good thing, you marrying the prince, you would forever live a life of luxury," Elena smiled,

"You of all people know I never wanted this marriage, Elena. I do not love him and he surely doesn't love me too," she said frowning

"That can change, I told you to try with the seduction, Look ..." Elena said bringing out something from behind her, a book and she showed the title to Sabrina whose eyes widen,

"Keep that hidden away! You do not want someone seeing that with you..... And where did you get that from?"

"Of course from the castle library and I went in search of it just for you, you have got to read and learn something from it to use on the prince," Elena grinned

"What's that?" Suddenly they heard a female's voice and quickly Sabrina collected the book and hid it behind her as they saw both Selene and Rosaline come into view, staring at them suspiciously.

"What?" Sabrina asked nervous while she and Elena bowed in greeting to them both.

"What are you hiding?" Rosaline asked again, glaring at them both.

"Did you both steal something from the castle?" Selene asked frowning "This is why father shouldn't be allowing lowly humans in our home, because once they set their eyes on something expensive, they steal!" She said glaring at them both.

"We didn't steal anything," Elena said.

"Lowly human, keep quiet!" Rosaline said glaring at Elena "You are not allowed to speak to us.... And look down when am talking to you!" Rosaline commanded and Elena quickly looked down and keep quiet.

"You came from the slums, you and your pathetic friend! Stealing your way to an elite society," Selene spoke.

"We didn't steal," Sabrina said simply and this time she was frowning.

"What if you did? Being in such a wealthy castle, that seem possible for you both, don't you think, lowly human?" Rosaline said glaring,

"We aren't pathetic, we are aren't thieves, we were thought good manners by our parents and would never do something so lowly even if we don't come from a wealthy family-" Sabrina was interrupted

"You dare speak back to me, bitch!" Rosaline said in anger "Look down!" She commanded again but Sabrina didn't do as she said, Selene's eyes widen.

"Such audacity!" Selene said.

"And why should I look down," Sabrina said as she hidingly passed the book from behind to Elena and stood up "You are a wife in this castle and so am I going to be, why should I bow to you?" They all gasp, even Elena.

"You have got nerves! You dare speak to me the way you just did!" Rosaline said in anger "Am going to teach you a lesson you would never forget! You..." She glared hating Sabrina even more before turning to look at Selene "Let's go," they left and Elena sighed in relief.

"That was close," Elena said.

"Do not do this again, Elena. We almost got caught," Sabrina said frowning.

"Well you took care of those two witches-"

"Elena!" Sabrina gasped.

"Well it's true, they are just like Beth, Penny and Vivian.... Anyway here is the book, make sure you read it tonight, okay?" Elena said handing the book over to Sabrina.

"Alright, I will give it a try but am not going to do anything immoral, Elena," Sabrina cleared.

Late that night Sabrina sat at her desk, in her room, she picked the book on her table and looked at the title 'ACT OF SEDUCTION' Elena, she thought as she shook her head, she kept the book on the table and was about to go to bed but she stopped and turned and stared at the book, if she seduced him and it worked, perhaps she would be able to ask for her freedom and he might let her go, she turned and sat on her chair, she picked the book and opened it and started reading it, her eyes widen at such immoral ways of seducing in the book, it suggested the woman should wear exposing gowns, some even suggested the woman suddenly appearing naked in the man's bathroom or room, it also suggested that whenever the woman is moving, she should swing her hips in an attractive way or even letting down her hair and wearing thin and transparent nightgowns that exposes her curves and perhaps the nipples buds too, Sabrina gasped and shook her head,

"Are you planning on seducing me?"She suddenly heard the deep voice and froze.
