Chapter 33: Shifter Border

The Sila council meeting was a comedy. My vampire mate was surely crazy as Tristan had informed us. But what was outstanding was the extent of his powers. He surprised everyone including Tristan and Seth.
Truth is, I was in awe of him. I was now confident that he would be able to protect me but what worried me the most was the fact that the shifter pack would never survive if he ever went to war with us. It was a good thing we were mated. Finally, my heart accepted him fully.
‘It was about time. He belongs to us. You were denying us our rights. We need to be with him and offer him our support,’ my wolf whined.
“I don’t doubt that fact. But you know how difficult our union is,” I defended myself.
‘We need him. He should be here with us. No one can stop us. The Anthora sanctuary already accepted us,’ he pressed.
“It will be a difficult journey,” I stated.
