Chapter 30: Freshen Up

Seely awoke the next morning with a mouth that tasted like rancid lemonade, and a headache that pierced her skull like a pickaxe from all directions. Moaning, she lifted her heavy, swollen eyelids to blearily spot a glass of water on her nightstand.

Or what she hoped was water.

She reached out slowly to get it when she heard another groan from the right. She froze.

Who was in….

“Seeley… I am never drinking again,” a feminine voice mumbled, and a flood of relief washed over the hungover diver.

Thank God. It was just Yas.

“Same,” she muttered, turning over to see Yas wearing the same outfit as the night before with her arm over her eyes.

“I also think I ate three cheeseburgers. I hope I didn’t eat three cheeseburgers.” The pretty, petite pharmacist made a face.

Seeley chuckled, which only made her headache worse.
