"But doc... I can't just stay at home and do nothing." Maia said with her voice losing composure. "I-I want to live my life! With just few adjustments, I might be able to go on a normal day." With shaky voice, she starts sniffing with her head low but she suddenly jolted as if she had come up with an idea. "Wait!" *Sniffs. "If I gain any information about something or someone, I-I'll take note of them, in that way, in case I meet a new student or if they have any concerns, I'll remember them!" She beamed with hope.

"And what happened today?" The doctor asked.

"Huh?"

"In broad daylight, you're looking for a different class during attendance, disowning your current students. Good thing you were able to finish your discussions managed to tell your friend what happened." He lectured as he pointed at Kitty with his head. "See, I know that your chance to recover is slim but in you case today, you snapped out when the hasn't set yet. Don't you think it's dangerous for you and for your everyone?" He asked in a serious tone.

"But I'll start recording from now on." Maia's response.

"When you said "Recording" do you know what is this?" The doctor asked as he raised a brown leather journal.

"A journal?" Maia answered with uncertainty.

"Indeed, but do you know the owner of this journal?" He questioned again.

"Uh... ..." Maia went silent and just stared at it.

"I'll take that as a "No". Well, it's yours. Right, Ms. Malinlin?" He asked for confirmation as he looked at the person holding the camera.

"Ah... Y-yeah, it's her's. Maia can confirm just by looking on its inside." Kitty replied.

Maia and the Doctor looked at each other, eye to eye, and he handed the journal over to Maia. As she opened it, she becomes silent for a bit asher eyes are wide scanning through the pages .

"Recognize the penmanship?" The doctor asked her.

"Yes. It's mine." She answered as she closed the doctor.

"If you don't mind, can you tell me what's the content of your journal in general?" He requested as he crossed his arms with his elbows still on top of the table.

"Records..." She murmured. "Daily records..." As she said these in an almost inaudible voice, she started to take a grasp of what the doctor is trying to tell her.

"Are we on the same thing now?" Asked the doctor, so Maia slightly nodded. "This is supposed to be temporary like in six or nine months, you might be able to get back to normal or atleast improve your condition, but your case is likely to be shifting after what happened today, it seems to get worse, it's just two months, and not done with your twenty-four-hour pattern, you snapped." He preached. I can bet that your current life in campus is stressing you out now more than the usual."

Hearing the school-bet part, Maia felt a slight pain on her head.

"You know? It ain't good for your brain right now. I believe you're aware that you can injure your brain without being hit on head." He stated as he leaned back on his office chair.

Agreeing to him though Maia wasn't sure why, she subconsciously raised her head and reached out for her scalp, but, Kitty, who is filming, can make sense of what he said since those were the times when Maia is teaching graduate students and was assaulted by the other faculty members.

Unfortunately, among the two of them, Kitty is the only who clearly remembered those hellish weeks, even if she tell her, Maia will still forget about it anyway. She will only have a knowledge about it but will never remember that such things happened. Contemplating this, she thought *Did her body remember the pain then?*
