The maid who found him gave him a glare, for all the dirt and muck he was dragging after himself. Marcellus felt a slight shame at that. He shifted on his feet.
"Sorry about that. You can send me the cleaning bill," Marcellus was then handed a letter, of all things, and showed to the end of the hall, which lead to the entrance of the castle.
The vampire was quick to get out. He had a mission. Yet, he could see Chavu's flowery handwriting on the letter, and he wanted to read what the Naga wanted to tell him.
The guards chuckled at his sorry state once he made it out of the door. He chuckled alongside them, for he really looked like a scoundrel. Then, he sat on the stone before the castle and opened the letter.
Marcellus,
Marcellus bit his lower lip. Why not Marcy? Why Marcellus? Was Chavu angry with him?
He hoped not.
After all, Marcellus was doing this for him, for them, if he had to be truthful.
