Starless Nights

Dae Hyun and I lay, the silence wrapping around us like a blanket as the wind blew past our bodies. My mind was racing and questions I wasn't brave enough to ask were surrounding my every thought. I looked up at the sky to distract myself

00and was as always mesmerized by the sheer beauty. "You know what I hate the most.." I said still looking at the sky.

"What is it?" Dae Hyun asked. I could tell that he turned to his side to look at me.

"Starless nights, they make me feel alone somehow, empty. I don't know why...It's stupid huh..we live in the city. In America, we had this summer house we'd go to when we were on vacation. It was out in the country, and since there aren't many lights, you could see so many stars."
