Death Camp

Ray walks inside of a room. Many people are sitting at a long table. Ray sits down in one of the chairs. All the chairs are filled up by the clan leaders. In the chair at the end of the table sits Tadako, the tenth Hokage.

Senju Leader: Figures the Uchiha clan would be late. Your clan has been trying to destroy the leaf ever since you became a part of it.

Ray: There wouldn't be a leaf village without the Uchiha clan!

Senju: No, there wouldn't. We would have been strong enough to take over the world if not for you.

Ray: That's not true! The Uchiha clan is one of the strongest clans to ever exist!

Senju: And to make up for that you kill each other every few years so you don't become too powerful.

Tadako: That's enough. All the clans of Konohagakure make us more powerful.

Senju: Is that true, lady Hokage? We have been spiraling down. Soon the other villages will overtake us. The only village weaker than us is our ally. The cloud village, The mist village, The sand village, hell, even the sound village has a good chance at beating us.

Tadako: The only reason we are as powerful as we are right now was because of me. I strengthened the village. We used to be weaker than Iwagakure.

Hyuga Leader: You have done well.

Everyone stops and looks at the Hyuga clan leader.

Hyuga Leader: We are a shinobi village. The other villages never lost sight of that, except for Iwagakure. That is why they are stronger. Lady Hokage!

Tadako jumps in her seat as he speaks.

Hyuga Leader: It is time we forget about all the stuff we have. When the war ended, our village focused on making life easier. Life should not be easier. Take away the funds for all the restaurants, arcades, and buildings for pleasure. Those buildings fill our budget. The restaurants can fund themselves. Any buildings that can't, will be repurposed for training.

Uzumaki Leader: We can't get rid of the fun buildings! How will anyone relax?

The Hyuga leader scowls at him.

Hyuga Leader: You relax in the comfort of your home. Otherwise, you train. This is a shinobi village! That's why I wanted to propose a tournament.

Tadako: What kind of tournament?

Hyuga Leader: A tournament of the strong. All the ninja of the same rank will battle each other. We will create a new area, like the forest of death. Everyone will be alone. Some will die. If you don't make it out, you will no longer be a ninja. You will have to leave the village. Anyone can participate, and if you win you will become a ninja of the hidden leaf.

Tadako: Anyone!? Even from other villages?

Hyuga Leader: As long as they have left their village.

Tadako: That is insane. This village will never do something like that.

Hyuga Leader: Then I will take my clan elsewhere. Along with a few other clans that have agreed with my plan.

The Hyuga leader stands up along with the Hatake clan, Aburame clan, Namikaze clan, Lee, Akimichi clan, and after some thought, Ray stands up. Tadako sits in silence for a moment.

Tadako: You are forcing me to say yes.

Hyuga: We are not forcing you. You can say no, and lose half of the leaf village.

Tadako: You can build your death camp.

Hyuga: We shall.

Kenzo walks through town. He looks at the news board.

Kenzo: New tournament.

He reads the paper, and his heart stops.

Kenzo: If I don't win this tournament I'll have to leave the village.

Kenzo starts running. People are yelling at him for running through the streets. Kenzo crashes into someone. They both hit the ground.

Kichi: What the hell Kenzo?

Kenzo: I was looking for you! Did you see the new tournament?! You need to teach us again!

Kenzo hands Kichi a flyer. Kichi reads it for a second.

Kichi: Even I have to join the tournament.

Kenzo: Yeah, you need to help us!

Kichi: No.

Kenzo: Why?!

Kichi: I disbanded your team. If you three do win the tournament, which is unlikely, then you will either be given a new captain or you'll be assigned to a new team whenever they need more people for a mission.

Kichi gets up from the ground. Kenzo gets up with him.

Kenzo: You're going to abandon us when we need you the most?

Kichi: You don't need me. I'll never catch you up in time. Only you can train yourself fast enough.

Kichi walks away.

Kenzo: Fine! I will do this on my own! Nanami will too! Ray probably hasn't stopped training since you quit!

Kenzo stops yelling. He talks quietly.

Kenzo: Now I need a new master. Someone who can really teach me.

Nanami is at the spa with Kimiko. They both sit down, leaning against the wall, with their heads back.

Kimiko: The spa is always amazing.

Nanami: I know. I should come here more often.

Kimiko: You said your team was disbanded earlier. Did your teacher actually just leave?

Nanami: Kind of. He thinks that he can't do anything more to help us.

Kimiko: You must be weak.

Nanami: I don't think I am.

Kimiko: If you really want to get stronger you're going to need a new sensei.

Nanami: How do you even find a sensei? Is there somewhere to go?

Kimiko: I don't know. My teacher never quit on me.

Nanami sinks a bit into the water.

Kimiko: You'll find someone.

A woman burts the door open. She quickly closes the door behind her. She sighs and walks over to the other side of the spa. Nanami and Kimiko are captivated by her beauty. She has long orange hair and blue eyes. She has a towel wrapped around herself. She drips her feet in the water. As she takes her towel off Nanami and Kimiko get jealous of her body. SHe sits in the spa and relaxes. The woman sees the door open a little bit.

???: Do either of you have a kunai?

Kimiko: Um, yeah.

Kimiko throws the Kunai at the woman. She catches it.

???: Remember girls. If you catch anyone peeping-

She throws the Kunai at the door. The kunai shreds through the door.

???: Make sure they don't do it again.

A guy on the other side of the door yells

Man: OW!

Nanami and Kimiko look at each other and then back to the woman. The woman smiles.

Nanami: Who are you?

???: My name is Ayame.
