Present Time....

Sara's POV

Everything feels different ..stepping out of prison

I don't even know where to go..after years of being in prison,the outside world feels so different

Never in my widest dreams have I imagined being in prison...that too for murdering my Mom..Truth to be told I don't feel any sort of desolation for her..But still she didn't deserve to die ...

All I noticed was the quiet environment...

Prison was very loud almost all the time. Constant yelling among inmates, instructions blaring over the intercom, COs yelling instructions and doors slamming and keys turning.

I had no where to go..I can't go back to my old home..I need to find a job and a place to stay

Buying a newspaper in the nearby store....I searched for any open job positions..

...

There was a waitress job at a bar"Altitude Sky Lounge"..

Honestly I'm in no position to look for a job that is up to my qualification..I hardly think anyone would want to employ a person who went to jail for murder

Deciding to give it a try I went to the bar..

Everything felt weird. I felt like a total fish out of water. I felt alone. 

I had to rebuild an entire life. I had just left four years,everything behind. I was a mess.

Upon reaching the bar,The manager asked me about my previous work experience.

After asking some more questions he gave me the job with one condition that I'm supposed to wear an uniform.Thankgod he didn't ask me about what I did for the last four years...

I didn't like the dress to be honest..it was too revealing..the skirt was too short for my liking.I bet it would show my undies if I bend down..

But I don't have any other go.I need this job so bad. I hardly have any money left so, i took up the offer,my first shift starts tonight

Now I need to search for a place to live..

After hours of searching...only place I could afford was looking like shit...

....

If someone had told me years ago that I would live in such a place ..I would have laughed my ass off..

Since... I had my phone back I decided to catch up with the current happenings..

....

Thats when I noticed a text from Ashley!!!

"Hey sis .. Seems your out... too bad you couldn't attend my wedding .

Chris is a great husband and dad you know..

If you need help feel free to ask"

Bitch she had the nerve to text me..she even sent me a picture of them all together

"Hey sister seems you like my leftovers..I just had a sandwich want that too?"I texted her back

They both deserve each other...

Getting ready for my shift ...I walked my way to the bar..hope the first day goes well...

The manager asked me to serve the VIP section.....

Third person POV

On her way Sara tripped over a girl's heel and spilt the champagne all over her

The girl's dress was drenched in wine

The sound of shattering glass and metal clanging on the marble floor echoed ..

Noah,who had come to the bar to let of some steam with his friend William watched this happen from afar.

Noah Carter, most feared underworld mob boss.He's known for being an unrepentant cutthroat.The only person he's ever been close with was Arthur,but lately they both haven't been on good terms.No one knows why.

He also got a piece of news that one of his traitor is signing a deal at this bar to tonight..

"Oh my god ...I'm sorry"

On hearing the words he turned to see Sara who spilled the champagne trying to clean up the mess, picking up the broken piece's.

The girl who just had a wine bath grabbed Sara by hair and slapped her hard...

the sound echoed through the bar.

"You Bitch you ruined my dress.. Do you even know how much this is?"Sara's face was red fro.

Something triggered inside him...

An all new feeling,he wanted nothing but to be by her side and protect the girl ..

"Boss..boss!!!" Someone interrupted him..

"What?why the hell are you shouting shit better be important ...or your dead"

"Axel is about to sign the contract with Victor we need to leave asap to catch him"

Oh shit he forgot why he came here...

Glancing back .. He couldn't find the waitress (Sara)anywhere..

He has always been the hump and dump type.He was never the relationship type.For him all girls were just golddiggers

Women were always at his feet..but this one seemed different..

Meanwhile ...Sara was fired for dumping the drink on the girl.

After gathering her belongings .She walked her way back home..She felt dejected at the thought of losing her job

It was already late night so,she took the shortcut through the alley

As she walked down the alley,her nose wrinkling at the scents of trash and stagnant water.

She shoved the phone and her hands in  pockets to keep them warm as she picked her way through the littered alley.

The buildings were tight together and loomed over her, like a forest of stone. When she looked up the roofs were so close together that she could only make out a sliver of the dark sky that was mirrored by the tiny stream of light that trickled along the cold stone ground. The alleyway twisted and turned back on itself, first going to the right, then to the left. 

.....

All of a sudden she saw shadow lingering in the dark.She should have ran away, but the temptation of feeding her curiosity was too hard to resist.
