A small bond

The night finally went out and the shining sun came up. Kaoris opened his eyes and the first thing that caught his eye was a small fluffy creature on his bed beside Irosa. 

It was looking at him wildly with its red eyes.

[ A message was sent by the administrator along with a gift.]

[*Congratulations on passing the 'Judgement of hell' without any problem in just a night. As a reward, I present to you the 'Hell mofin' baby.]

[It's your new bond and it will help you to overcome any fear.]

   Hell mofin? What kind of creature is this? 

[Name: unknown.

Species: Mofin. (Baby)

Age: 1 year.

Level: 4(3)

  I don't know why, but after seeing its level which is on the fourth awakening, I am so weak. 

Moreover, is this really a gift for overcoming my inner fear? What about Irosa? She also did that, didn't she?"

Kairos put his hand on her head and said, "Irosa, wake up. It's morning."

And immediately, Irosa felt the new creature's strength and jumped off the bed. "Owner!!! What is that!!!"

"It was a gift from the system to overcome our fear. Did you receive any"

"Huh? No? But what is that? And why is it so small but super strong? That thing can eat the whole world alive."

"Heheh.. it's my bond now. But I feel like I can't use her to fight against the summoned heroes. It's like my instinct that's telling me or I'll be eaten by her." 

"Yes! That would be cheating! Please keep it away from heroes and train it well."

The small dog-like creature went under the bed and vanished. So Kairos said, "It will not come out. Let's go now." He stood up from his bed and said, "Irosa, don't ever look into the sky if you see a floating island. We were lucky last night but who knows if it will be the same as before?"

"Is that also part of the mission, owner?"

Kairos shook his head and said, "I don't know. But as long as I know that horned devil isn't going to let us go that easily. Killing those heroes is very easy but based on our levels, I am guessing that there's more to the game."

    We are just pawns to the devil. He will keep moving us and using us until we are all alive and when the time comes up, we will be sacrificed. 

A pawn can't become the king of the game.

Irosa looked at the fluffy creature and saw it resembled a dog. A hairy dog with a white fluffy tail. So she told Kairos to name it 'Indigo'. 

"Indigo is too small. And he's too strong so we can't actually name him a small one. He needs a bigger one."

"A bigger one?"

"Yes, how about Ikeni Vona?"

"What is that?"

"In this world,  Ikeni means Beginning and Vona means Sunrise." 

"That's really thoughtful of you. How about giving me a surname too? You never gave me."

Kairos laughed and said, "Hahahah! You didn't give me one either. "

Steven was a jobless person on the inside because he was stripped from his title two months ago. But on the inside, he was an active black market trader who sells information and illegal products.

But the black market only opens twice a week so the other days were his holiday. 

"Did you guys have a nice sleep? Both of you acted a little odd yesterday and also you guys slept together like two snakes rolled and glued to each other. 

Irosa said, "Well that's because we already died. Do you have any idea how much danger we were in yesterday? We could've died!!" 

"What? Did someone attack you two?"

Kairos shook his head and said, "It's a monster that only people who are second-awakened and near second-awakened hunters can see. It's the size of a floating city that floats above the sky and watches everyone very closely. It has countless eyes and its strength is immeasurable. And my unlucky a** accidentally got scared and we got a room full of its eyes everywhere. We were just traumatized." 

"Hahahaha!!! Nice joke, I know what you two were doing. Anyway, it's not like you're actually my children so I won't stop you."

Kairos became furious and said, "Man, it was really useless to explain it to you. I'm going to make breakfast."

The days passed like these as his result day was slowly getting closer. The nation was happy that the young heroes were doing their best to train and prepare to kill the demon lord. 

The nation felt like they were saved.

But what was wrong was inside the imperial palace. The three heroes took over everything and also the king cherished them so much that they forgot what crime is.

Stealing, rape, murder, treason, physical and sexual harassment became their daily habit.

On the other hand, the king did nothing but sit back and watch the mad show. 

   So this is exactly what is going on inside the imperial palace. Those bastards were already messed up. And after getting powers, they've become tyrants. 

"Irosa, let's go outside. I want to take a walk now."

Irosa looked at him and said, "Walk? You?"

"Yes, let's go shopping."

"Okay."

The morning sun was still warm so they dressed up and took some money to buy things for themselves. It was 9 am and yet, the road was busy as hell.

"Today's a national holiday, right?" Kairos asked. 

"Hmmm.. yes. It's the king's birthday."

"Well, whatever. Let's go to the shopping mall first. I want to buy a new pair of shoes."

Irosa looked at her phone and said, "There's a brand called Alilas. I think its designs are good."

"Wait, Alilas?" Kairos looked at her phone screen and saw the brand logo." He was dumbfounded to see the logo. "People in this world have a bad imagination of naming things. It's called Adidas, not alilas. Man, I want to cry after seeing this. There's no way I can walk around wearing a shoe brand logo named Alilas ."
