I'll Wait For Her

Maxwell walks into a dimly lit room with confusion showing on his face.

" Blake what's going on?? I thought you died?? Are you rotten??"

"Max calm down I haven't been harmed I'll explain what happened later" Blake sternly reassures his younger brother. "Right now we need to go get Lily, once people find out that we've gone missing the dirt bags will try their best to get her." Blake quickly alerts his brother of soon dangers. The younger man nods in response.

"Before we go I have to show you something, follow me." Blake begins walking towards a door, Max rushes in his footsteps. Blake opens the door to reveal metal cage like bars, inside a pale man lay on a stone ground groaning in pain.

"Is that??" Max quietly says to his brother.

"Yeah it's him" Blake explains.

"Why didn't you kill him?? He seems to be suffering..." Max questions.

"He said he wanted to see her one last time before we.....cchhsssss." Blake makes a sliding movement across his throat.

A few hours later they arrive at their house, they knock on the door and wait a few minutes before opening it. They went inside and called out for Lily. When she didn't answer they gave each other a suspicious look and began searching the house for her.

They seen no sign of her so they began searching harder, that's when Max looked at the table and seen his sister's phone. He opened it to see notifications unread from many days ago.

Blake sat down at the table wondering where their sister could be, when he noticed a cloth on the floor near the door. He walked over and picked up the cloth.

"Max come here" Blake commands, which Max complies.

"Smell this." Blake shoves the cloth into his little brothers face till he had to breath it in. Seconds later he watches Max fall into the floor, unconscious.
