He was waiting for a final decision before he could act, but Histoire clearly did not want him to get involved with Bastian past business relations. She had always been indecisive, especially when it involved those around her. But he did not expect her to change her mind the moment after she woke up. The decision for him to approach Bastian was decided upon when she was still sleep, however, it seemed that the door had hit her too hard on the head because now she wished to comply with the same people who wanted to perform unknown experiments on her.
