Jotham returned to the spot by the stairs, waving his cellphone in the air while he used his other hand to give Deus a thumbs-up. He had a grin on his face that he failed to shake off when he saw Histoire standing at the base of the stairs and looking up to the two. He was just too happy to have gotten what he was worried about out of the way. The two he told Deus about had agreed to come along, and almost too immediately as well. He was right about the fact that his friends were always willing to help out when they could.

"Is there something you're so happy about that you aren't willing to tell me?" She called, her eyes narrowed in skepticism. Jotham continued to smile and nodded his head.

"Yes, but it's a surprise. You'll find out what it is later tonight," he said before walking away once again. She turned her attention to Deus, and, when he realized she was awaiting an answer, he shrugged his shoulders.
