Tiger Queen

Rooar~ Rooooar~

A huge roar suddenly resounded in the dome, all the students couldn't bare the sound so they covered their ears.

Suddenly, they all started feeling hot as the sweat started to appear on their skin.

Looking up at the sky, they saw a few flaming tigers flying in a group but one of them looked mildly different then others.

It was flying infront of other tigers, showing it was the leader of the group. It didn't have normal red flames but rainbow colored flames surrounded it's body, it had red eyes and those eyes seems to be searching for something on the ground.

"Why was the flaming tiger Queen is angry?"

The tiger Queen heard a voice as she looked downwards only to find a human being was flying towards them.

Arron flown into the sky as he simply passed the dome's array which was protecting the students, since he has a special token which only a special instructor has, he can easily alter the array as he pleased, he released his mana showing that he was a Great mage.

The tiger Queen's eyes narrowed seeing the human was at the same level as her. Arron flown on to the same level of hight as the flaming tigers are flying at.

"Didn't the magus academy said they found my children, where are they?" She spoke as her voice resounded with anger.

"Children? I don't understand what your talking about, the magus academy people only found one tiger cub which was a 2-star rank beast, we-

"Shut up, my clansmen saw a human kidnapping both of my children, if one was here, doesn't that mean my other child was hidden by the academy after finding two flaming tiger cubs." The flaming tiger Queen spoke as the flames on her body erupted into the sky.

"What your saying is wrong! That kidnapper Maybe left one of those here deliberately so the flaming tiger clan can suspect us." Aaron said as he looked at the ground. His eye brows furrowed as he couldn't spot the tiger cub no matter where he looked.

'Damn it, where is that tiger cub? The tiger Queen was in full of anger, if she sees the tiger cub in injuries, she will definitely attack me and the tigers behind her will attack the students. It's easy for me to survive even if the tiger Queen attacks me but probably a lot of students will die.

The mission was to let as many as students die, if possible, some noble children and imperial princess Rowena was also on the list. But now, if the tiger cub was not found or healed by someone, the tiger Queen will not attack, what should I do?'

"Growl~ I don't need your bullshit, show me my children or be prepared to be attacked." The tiger Queen growled as she tried to force back Arron with her mana pressure.

However, Arron being a 7-Star mage himself, he didn't budge an inch.

'This tiger Queen seems to be in too much anger that she was not thinking rationally. Maybe if I just agitate her a bit, she will launch an attack.' Arron thought in his mind after watching the tiger Queen's actions.

On the ground, Kathleen watched as the students were frozen in fear after seeing the tiger Queen. Only few students like Sophie, Rowena and Max including some 2-star rank mages kept their calm.

A mage or a magical beast can only fly when they reach 5-Star rank and some prodigies were able to do that only at 4-Star rank. Which means, the tigers which are flying behind the tiger Queen were all 5-Star or even 6-Star magical Beasts.

And no one in the students are even at the 3-star mage rank. Which means as long as the tigers attack them, they will be in pieces not even being able to protect themselves.

In the sky, Aaron just started a meaningless conversation irritating the tiger Queen even more, as it's anger reached it's boiling point.

"Enough, I will see myself what is inside that dome behind you." Saying that, she moved forward with her huge body to attack Arron and the tiger's behind her also moved towards the dome to attack it.

Kathleen sighed after seeing the situation was turning out similar to what happened in the novel. But she did thought of a plan before coming here.

However, before she could do anything or the flaming tiger Queen attack Arron, a loud roaring sound was heard which stopped the tiger Queen in the mid air.

The tiger cub who Kathleen fought a few minutes ago walked into the middle of the dome, it seems it was hiding when Kathleen went back to her friends after speaking with it.

The tigers stopped their attacks and looked towards the cub, followed by students and Arron, who was in the air.

'Damn it, which idiot gave medicine to this tiger cub, ugh, that girl, did she heal the cub while I was looking away, damn it everything will go to waste now.' He cursed under his breath waching the tiger queen disappear and appear on the ground just beside it's child.

Kathleen relaxed after seeing the attacks are stopped.

The tiger queen glared at it's cub for a few seconds, than, they both started to communicate with eachother through an unknown method.

While this is happening, Aaron suddenly sensed a few auras appearing from the distance.

'The scouting guards also seems to be sent someone to the academy to report about the attack, the reinforcements are coming quickly, this mission was a failure. Now, not only I have to answer to the headmaster as to why I let a student fight the flaming tiger cub, I also have to take responsibility for the mission's failure, not to mention lord White Mask will be angry.'

He can only sigh at the situation, thinking how he planned a perfect timing after receiving the news about the flaming tiger queen was searching for it's cubs, since he also come to know that one of the cubs where spotted by the academy.
