Leaving the mansion

Evelyn was dumbfounded when she reached the top of the barrier. It was too high and she probably can't jump out without breaking a leg."Hey jump, I'll catch you." Liam urged. Now she realized why he jumped out first. Oh he was thinking about her at that time! "No, it's dangerous" she mumbled."We have no choice. Be good and quickly jump otherwise they will discover about us." He said again.

She had no choice but to obey him. She closed her eyes tightly and jumped.She felt him catching her successfully.She quickly hugged his neck out of reflex.

She then slowly opened her eyes.

Under the soft moonlight, Liam's handsome figure appeared like a knight in the darkness. Moonlight touched Evelyn's face as if like making her a beautiful angel came down to earth from heaven. Her eyes sparkled and Liam could see thousands of stars in the night sky through her crystal clear blue eyes as if like he was looking through a mirror. For a moment he was completely stunned.

Evelyn cleared her throat while lowering her eyes to escape from his gaze." Ehem... now you can release me." She softly mumbled. He quickly put down her saying, "Ofcaurse,I'm going to. You are so heavy."

Evelyn pouted her lips angrily. "Who's heavy,huh? It's gravity, gravity okay?"

Liam smirked. Then without saying anything he grabbed her hand and started walking along the road. Evelyn looked at him surprisingly. "Where do you think you're going?" She asked while narrowing her eyes."Are you stupid? We have to catch a cab now so we can reach the airport soon. Are you thinking about walking along the way to the airport instead?"

Evelyn rolled her eyes while crossing her arms on her chest. "I'm not stupid. You are the one who's stupid. We can't catch a cab from this side of the road at this hour. We have to go over there." She pointed the otherside of the road.

Liam scratched his head awkwardly. "Oops.Is that so? Ok then." He once again grabbed her hand and dragged her to the opposite side of road.Evelyn shook her head helplessly.

After getting inside of a cab Evelyn quickly switched on her phone and made a call. "What are you doing?" Liam asked."I have to say good bye to my family and friends. I don't know when exactly we are going to return, that's why."

"You can keep in touch with them though...I mean through the phone while we are away." Liam suggested.

Evelyn shook her head sadly. "No, it's risky. Your grandpa will track down my phone and find out where we are. Or he will try a different method to catch us. We have to break all the connections with this country before leaving."

Then she grinned widely and looked at him in the eye. "I feel so excited. This looks like we are leaving this country because our parents don't agree to our marriage so we are going to live in a far away place to start a family by cutting down all ties with them just to protect our true love. It sounds like a cheesy romantic drama,right?" Liam pressed his lips. "Nope, your parents will never disagree for our marriage. I'm the wealthiest and most powerful son-in-law they can ever think of in the Capital. They will definetly accept me without batting an eye." He said firmly and confidently.

Evelyn looked at him meaningfully. 'For that you have to recover soon. Then you can ask my hand in marriage and we can get married confidently without being laughing stocks to other people' she thought. 'Aahh what are you thinking you fool? After he recovers, he won't need you anymore, so why should he ask to marry someone like you? He will definetly find some wealthy and prideful lady with equal status' Evelyn shook her head to erase her thoughts.

Liam chuckled and pinched her cheek. "You are so cute when you do that. Like a little bunny. I can't help but pinch you." He said still smiling.

Evelyn looked at him for a second and then unexpectedly clinged on to his arm and put her head on his shoulder while closing her eyes.

Liam was surprised but he didn't push her away.

'Hmph! There's no way I'm going to loose to a rich young lady. I will work hard and make sure he will fall head over heels for me.' Evelyn stubbornly thought.
