Episode 7: Caught Unaware

Louis moves slowly towards Mia who sat calmly on her throne. Louis has a devilish smile on his face as he moves toward Mia. Mia calmly reaches out for her glass cup by her side by the tip and sips the water in it as she watches her father display before her.

Louis should have taken the hint that he does not scare Mia just like he did before when she was younger but he did not. He moves close to Mia. He gets to the two-step stairs leading to Mia’s seat.

He tries to place his right leg on the first stairs but he is unable to. His leg bounces off the stairs. He glances from Mia to the stairs in surprise and fright but Mia does not make a move. “Putting a force field will not save you from me,” Louis said with a slight chuckle

Louis steps back a bit and advances towards the stairs with speed but he bounces off the forcefield and falls to the ground. The dagger in his hands missed penetrating his skin with just a little gap.
