Episode 43: Onion Pie

Ethan places his two hands on the arm of the chair. He looks down at his bandaged leg. He glances at Mia who has her back to him as she walks to the kitchen. He stands relaxing his weight on his left leg.

He glances at Mia again who did not bat an eye at him and just continued doing what she is doing. Ethan shuts his eyes briefly as he opens them up again he slowly places his right leg on the ground to balance himself.

Mia who had a smile on her face as she took out some plates from the cupboard turns to him briefly but before she could take her eyes off she spots what he is doing and her smile disappears as she rushes to him.

She places him back in the wheelchair carefully without a word while Ethan looks as though his veins would pop out of his face. Mia takes a look at his bandaged leg briefly then sighs. “I just hope that won’t make you leap the rest of your life”

She rises and looks at Ethan who seems relaxed now. “Why did you do that?”
