Episode 39: Two Masks
Mia walks calmly towards them. Her gaze fixated on Barbara who looked as though she saw a ghost. She clears her throat and adjusts her shirt in order to gain her composure. “Mia, the woman of the day” Barbara smiles but despite the fact that the balaclava Mia wore covered her lips Barbara knew that Mia was not smiling.
Mia stands before them with her gaze still on Barbara ignoring Liam’s presence entirely. “So tell me what you have been wanting to say” Mia’s eyes glide over Barbara’s attire as she spoke
Barbara squints her eyes as she looks at Mia who is doing a good job of making her emotion unreadable through her eyes. “I…” Barbara’s voice comes out a bit cracked and she coughs to clear her throat then continues.
“I wanted to tell you I have a better person to take the part of Liam” she eyes Liam who now stands behind Mia but Mia does not turn to look at Liam
