No hope left !!

" Rick , this is the 8 th time mam is calling . She is sounding so eager to talk to sir , I am afraid if this time we aren't able to make him available for mam , she might get into depression or get sick again " said Kate , Ethan 's personal secretary .

" Kate I know , but what can I do . You know that once sir commands something he wants the words to be followed at any cost " replied Jade , executive manager of ' Emma Inc . cooperation ' when Kate told him what was bothering her .

Ethan 's grandmother , the only other person in his family left , was the most tensed about Ethan's life . Seeing his only grand child , leading a life full of absolutely nothing , with no happiness , no rest , no care , no smile , no light , she took her stress on her health .

She was absolutely worried about him .

About his future . About hir daughter's future .

She was extremely hopeless about him . She was worried about him day and night . Frequently bothering his assistants and workers to take care of him , to keep an eye on him and Infrom her all the time about his whereabouts.

As usual worried for him as Ethan haven't come home for 2 days , she called Kate and asked him to hand him the call . But unfortunately Kate had no answer to her requests .

" Kate sir has been inside the meeting hall for two days . He had strictly ordered me not to bother him with any word or call or let any person come inside . He has been working on his rocket design these past 2 days . The project which on normal basis could only be completed in months , maybe a year, he is doing it in days . I have informed him , taking the risk about Mam's call but he only replied

' leave !!! ' . He hasn't even eaten or drank these 2 days . I am afraid I couldn't help you Kate . "

Again the phone rang , and Kate hesitatingly answered it .

" M..Mam.... I ...I am really sorry , but ... but we tried to make him available but unfortunately he is on his usual routine.He... He is in the meeting hall working on the project . As soon as he will be available I will tell him of your concern ." Kate said nervously.

The expression on Grandmother s face changed drastically . She started panicking . In a slurry voice and tears filled eyes she inquired - " he must have not eaten anything these 2 days , isn't it ? "

" M..mam I am really sorry . I will inform you shortly as I get a word from him . Please take care . He won't forgive me if he knew your health faded after our conversation . Please mam . please relax !!!! " Kate tried to convince then ended the call politely.

She knew the punishment if he became displeased with anyone .

She knew it all .

All eyes were on her . They knew how nervous she was because sometime or another they have suffered the same situation . All the other employees stared at her with sad expression then went back to work discussing the pros and cons .

They knew the routine . His routine . His lifeless routine .

They also knew his rage .

They knew this company's routine , their boss's lifeless journey might never change .

Their eyes started becoming hopeless just like the poor grandmother .

They too were worried for their boss .

they had few unresolved question !!

Will he ever smile again ?

Will he ever be able to forget Ms Emma ?

Will he ever start living again ?

Will ever someone change him ?
