06 Servant Ruler and Leaving

"You're awake now kid" I heard someone said as I open my eyes. My head hurts like it's been grinded but the rest of my body feels fine.

"Yes, Thank you" I answered.

"What about the others with me?" I added.

"I healed your brother, and remove their memories of the accident, but that girl called Sophia said she doesn't want to remove her memories, so I just let her be, I also know of her mother so It'll not be a problem." Azazel said.

"Wait, you know her mother?" I asked, shocked at the revelation.

"I actually save them in the past when they were being pursue, now her mother sometimes accepts mission from Grigory." he said.

'Wow to think there's a backstory waiting for me like this' I said jokingly but set it aside for now.

"So, what happened after I lose consciousness?" I asked Azazel

"I don't really know much because after I arrive the Stray was already being disintegrated by the holy light." Said Azazel.

"Your body was being possessed at that time and your hair change to golden, wearing an armor with a sword on your waist, but using a flag that radiate Holy Energy as a weapon." He continued.

"She? Said that she is a Servant Ruler, called Jeanne D'Arc" After Azazel said that, a bright flash appeared beside of my bed.

"That's right. And Nice to meet you master" a person appeared and said that to me. Looking at the familiar figure of her, I can't help but marvel on her beauty.

"You are?" I asked just to confirm.

"Just like what This Fallen called Azazel said, I'm Ruler, Jeanne d'Arc" she answered.

"I see, Thank you for saving me at that time" I thank her because if not for her, I might as well be dead. Literally.

"You don't have to thank me Master. As a servant it's my duty to protect you" She said.

After talking a little bit with Jeanne, Azazel ask her a question.

"So Jeanne was it, Who, no, What are you?"

"I'm sorry but I'm also not clear about our existance, the only thing I know is that, because of the Throne of Heroes, We, Heroic Spirits, can choose to retain our Ego and memories, and not to enter the reincarnation cycle. As of now, We only know one way to be summoned, That is through the use of the Sacred Gear [Zontaní Istoría] that was created the same time as the Throne." She answered.

"I see, to think that, that Sacred Function was like that. That Sacred Gear only appear once, we only know about it because It's first user show it off. However we do not know it's capabilities, still because of it's uniqueness it earns it's place as the 14th Longinus." Azazel said.

"Do you know who is the first user of this Sacred Gear?" I asked Azazel just in case I know who that person is, well the chance is low though.

"No, he just come and go like a ghost, wearing a mask, so I don't know about him/her" He said while shaking his head.

After that little introduction, Jeanne narrates what happened after I passed out.

It seems like because I was out cold at that time, the Sacred Gear activates on itself, fortunately there is a catalyst on my body, which is her pendant. If not then the Gear cannot summon a servant.

I lay on the bed and just rest my body. Azazel said that I should stay on bed for atleast a day or two because of mental fatigue, he also said that he already deal with my parents so they won't panic.

Two days pass and I can feel that there are no more problems in my body, I think it's even stronger than before so that's a plus.

(A/n: Are you a saiyan? Just kidding)

Jeanne was always in materialize form around me which I'm thankful for as It's get really boring when you're just in bed for two days. Although It consumes my magic power, It's negligible as my magic power recovers more than it consume.

At first I thought that Azazel bring me to Grigory but it seems that we're only in one of the appartments he own. And speaking of Azazel, I never seen him in this past two days, well he is the governor general after all maybe he's just busy. He seems to leave a personel begind though, saying that if we need anything we just need to say it to him.

"Jeanne can you ask him if we can meet with Azazel or atleast make an aplointment" I ask Jeanne as I tried stretching a little bit to get a feel on my body.

Jeanne nodded and walks out of the room. I continue stretching for about 5 minutes and waited for Jeanne to come back.

"Master, he said that he will teleport us to Grigory later this afternoon" Jeanne said after she come back

"I see, thank you Jeanne" I smiled at her and a slight blush appears on her cheeks. Really staying on the same room with her for two days really do some wonders. As for what that wonders, I'll leave it to your imagination.

(A/n: Duh you're just talking with her why do you want to sound mysterious)

"Hey Jeanne, do you know any magic?" I ask Jeanne hoping she can teach me atleast healing or some holy attack magic.

"No Master, I'm just a farmer's daughter in the past and lead the people when God gives me my mission, However do not worry master, just pray to God and miracles will happen" Jeanne said to me excitedly like a devote fanatic. Uhh I can feel a great headache in the future.

"That's also how I heal you're brother, but I also notice that it's much more powerful now than when I was alive" She added.

"I see, but I think that I won't be able to use that kind of magic. Still thank you for telling me." I thank Jeanne and started practicing my own magic. I can just learn some in the future.

Later that afternoon, Azazel's assistant tells us that we can now go and meet Azazel at Grigory.

Preparing the things I have, which is basically nothing except the sword that I create earlier when I'm practicing.

After teleporting to Grigory, he guide us in front of Azazel's office. Opening the door, we saw Azazel sitting behind the table with serious expression. On his hands he was reading a ... Magazine? Specifically P*orn Magz.

"What are you doing you pervert!" I shouted at him and throw the wooden swords that I carry earlier.

Azazel notice us and dodge the sword. I run on front of him and look on his eyes.

"Can you please don't use things like that in front of Jeanne" I look at him with serious face, then glance at Jeanne who is looking at us with innocent face. Kuh, if I only have fire magic I'll burn it out immediately.

"Don't worry about little things kid HAHAHA" Azazel just laugh it off making me a little irritated. 'I'll blame you if Jeanne lose her innocence' I secretly thought to myself.

(A/n: Innocent personality ehem)

"Anyway, I see that you're fully healed now. So what do you want?" Azazel ask me.

"This past two days I've been thinking on what should I do. When I first got my magic, I become excited and think that with my ability I'm strong enough to atleast defend myself." I pause and look at Azazel grinning at me.

'Sigh It looks like he expected it after all' I thought to myself.

"Base on your grinning face, you already know what I want, so I'll make it short. I'll join Grigory but I want some little things." I said to Azazel.

"And what is this 'little things'?" Azazel asked.

"You know my ability to create things like swords from wood or metal, I never really try it on other materials so I want those materials or atleast a way on how to get them." It's time to up my training, just creating things with common things like wood, won't improve my creation magic much more.

"So you're it's not limited to the things you keep using when you're training?" Azazel raise an eyebrow.

"Yes, If I master it I can create artifacts and maybe even an artificial..." I said to Azazel with a smirk. Azazel eyes widen at the realization on what my ability can do.

"Sacred Gear.." Azazel said with wide eyes and started laughing by himself.

"I see.. I see.. HAHAHA to think that you're hiding your abilities to me you brat. But if that's really possible then It'll make my research faster" To be honest, I don't really want to reveal one of my cards but it's necessary to gain Azazel full support to improve my abilities.

"Yeah, that's why I need materials to practice." As of now that's the only thing I need, I think that Azazel will assign someone to train me in other fields so that's a plus.

"And lastly.. I wish to seal the memories of those who know me" As for this, I'm actually hesitating but I just say to my self that It's necessary and I'll just unseal it in the future.

"Hmm, I can seal their memories but the parents of the girl Irina was part of Supernatural so it's not possible, and the seal will unseal itself when the person have an encounter of supernatural" Azazel said to me.

"It's okay." I said to him. Irina and her parents will probably leave Kuoh soon so It'll not be a problem, but when Irina's memories got unsealed, well let's just make her father take care of that. As for Nii-san, well there's still a decade so it's also not a problem.

When our simple talk finish, the has sun alreasy set. Azazel gives me and Jeanne different rooms. At first she said that we should be together in a single room so she can protect me but I said that it's not proper and thankfully she gives in. I don't know what would happen if were in the same room.

The room was.. spacious. It have a bed that can fit atleast 5 people without difficulty on it. 'Does Azazel have Clairvoyance and see's the future me with a harem' I just laugh it off and head to the bed.

Morning came, I tried to rise up from the bed but I can feel someone was holding me like a pillow. Opening my eyes I saw strands of golden hair above my head. I just want to remind you that I'm currently only 7 years old so my height is still lower than Jeanne. I sigh while thanking my 7 years old body to not have any unnecessary reaction.

"Jeanne, wake up, Azazel said he'll tour us on the facilities of Grigory this morning" I called out to Jeanne to wake her up.

After a little while, Jeanne open her eyes and smiles at me.

"Good Morning master" she said.

"Good morning too, but as much as I enjoy being your pillow, I must ask, what are you doing here in my room?" I ask her because her room is just besides mine.

"Huh, oh, it seems that I come here without knowing" Jeanne just smiled at me. I just release a sigh and pray that she won't do it in the future when my body matures.

"Anyway, Azazel might be waiting for us so we need to go" I said to her as she let go on me.

"But really, you shouldn't just enter any mans room even if it's mine Jeanne" I said to her as both of us prepare for the day.

I'm sorry for not posting yesterday so I'll try to make another one later.

As for how Jeanne's Magic work. When she was alive, her magic comes from the Heaven's system, basically the same as the magic use by the church. However when she become a servant, her magic ability was believe to be a miracle by the people. And because the abilities of the servant was directly tied to their legends, Jeanne gained a magic system directly base on her faith. As long as she pray or wish for it, it'll happen. Of course she can't just go around wishing, "I want this person dead or something" there are limitations but her magic will mostly be use as support like healing or barrier. She also mentioned that it become much stronger because, as a servant she is using power from the Throne of Heroes and not the Heaven's system that Michael and the Seraphs operate.
