To Scoff At A Queen

"We are glad as well." Vincent replied, but Quinn did not reply since it was obvious that Queen Ellen was not talking to her.

She glanced at the Dowager, "Welcome back, Dowager. We missed you terribly and have been worried about you."

The four of them all knew that she was lying since she did not care about the Dowager or even like her. "I am back now because Vincent, Quinn and their friends saved me. So you do not need to be worried anymore."

Queen Ellen moved her gaze back to Quinn as she scoffed, "Quinn, a newly turned demon with no skills or experience saved you? That cannot be possible."

Her statement and reaction made Vincent angry as his brows furrowed and his jaw clenched. Quinn felt annoyed and offended as she frowned, looking at Queen Ellen. Vincent looked firmly at her, "Are you belittling your Queen? Do you disrespect her so and think her incapable of doing that?"
