Quinn did not wait for him to reply and started sprinting towards the palace gates in a blur. He grinned and sprinted after her, but reducing his speed so that he would also be only a blur. As soon as they were inside and in front of his chamber, he had his arms wrapped around her from behind as they laughed.

However their time alone was cut short again when they saw Ceasar walk towards them from beside the guards at the gates. He bowed, "Your Majesty and your Highness."

They pulled apart and faced him as Vincent asked him, "Ceasar, what is wrong?"

"Forgive me for disturbing you, your Majesty. The King of the Shifter kingdom, King Julian has replied to your letter." Ceasar said as he raised a letter in front of him and presented it to Vincent.

"Very well." He took the letter from his hands and opened it. As he did, he read it aloud.

"Dear King Vincent,
