Surprise Or Shock?!

Meera attempted to remember the familiar lady who stood front!

Aarohi waited excitedly but when she noticed that she wasn't actually catching it, she took up the role, "Did you forget the orphanage ceremony already?!"

Meera's eyes lit, did they meet there?!

"Vanita orphanage?!" Aarohi continued!

Meera tried to remember the things from that day and when she did, she was sure who was the lady now! "Aarohi?"

Now it was Aarohi's, whose eyes lit up! Finally!!

She still remembered that day when Meera was appreciated in everyone's presence, for being the top most donor of the orphanage, always donating the money and things in her power, to help the organisation work! They both even shared a talk as Aarohi expressed her gratitude as an once member of the orphanage! Getting to know the lady's parent's passed away two years ago, she felt sorry, but soon felt glad that she didn't discourage herself and tried to be her better self!

How come didn't she notice Meera back then in the party?!

No wonder she didn't! After all, all of her eyes were glued on someone else!!

Meeting her again now made Aarohi happy! With a cheery smile, she initiated a hug which Meera immediately accepted!

"I'm sorry I couldn't recognise you soon!" Meera apologised as she stepped away from the hug!

"It happens!!" Aarohi waved it off, "It is really surprising for me to have you here!"

"Seriously? You work here?!" she sounded both excited and surprised!

Meera laughed, "I don't see any crime!"

Aarohi laughed as well!

"Well... coming back to the point! Were you the one who said you have.... something our boss lost?!"

She blinked, ah....she had to lie right! Forgot! She did already!!

"Arrhm..." she cleared her voice, hesitating now as she found it hard to lie to someone known, specially to someone as good as her!

Meera on the other way couldn't understand what made her suddenly hesitate!

Aarohi's hand adjusted her hair in nervous, but what all Meera noticed this time were her fingers instead her reactions! And soon a gasp escaped her which she immediately tried to bury with her hands covering her mouth!

Her eyes widened in surprise or shock but whatever it was, was surely something foreign to Aarohi!

They both just stared each other silently, Aarohi not knowing what made her react that way while she was trying to explain the perfectly laid lie which burst out after knowing the lady was Meera! While Meera just realised something which she shouldn't yet discover, was completely dazed!

"Actually....." even before Aarohi could complete it, Meera grabbed her by arm, taking her away into a less crowded area! She couldn't risk anything!

When they were out of everyone's view, Meera let her free but her gaze never left the lady!

"What's....wrong?" Aarohi asked dazed!

"You....Were you...the one?!"

"Pardon?"

"That...." her gaze pointed the ring she wore, "Were you...." and that's it, the remaining questionnaire was done all by her eyes itself!

Aarohi blinked, how did she know?!

"I actually take care of his deliveries!!" she explained hesitating!

Aarohi really didn't think coming here would end up like this! She got to meet Meera also acknowledging her work status here, which was a good news! But the lady acknowledging her and Deep's relation....she wasn't sure if it was a good news or bad!

"Could you just keep the secret?!" Aarohi finally spoke out almost with a heavy breath!

Meera remained silent which tensed Aarohi, but as if meant to relax her, Meera smiled! "Rest assured!!"

"That's a relief!!" she sighed!

Meera smiled, knowing now that Aarohi was the one, she felt glad for both of them!

Suddenly putting the pieces together, she seemed to understand the puzzle. So, Tara might have known this as well, why else would she recommend Aarohi as one of the artists that day? And....the lady who was seated with Mr.Nethin's family, that was her as well!

How did she miss this much information?!

Not at all, that punk, Deep hid it! What was that?! 'Not yet'?! Know you fool! Meera now knows!

A wicked smile took over her!

"I really feel happy for you both!"

Aarohi just responded with a smile!

"But.... I doubt him losing anything! Did you by chance come here to meet him?"

Meera's smile didn't go easy on her, neither, her question, which made her gaze wavered! Why was she this flustered? All of a sudden?

"Sorry to disappoint you, he didn't come yet! And as much as I know, he will not!!"

That changed her!

"He was always on time! Perhaps he will not be coming!!"

Aarohi sighed, she should have guessed it! "It sure is disappointing! Well thanks for it!! And I also felt glad to meet you again!"

"Me, as well! We should meet again!!"

Aarohi gave out a smile!

"By the way...why don't you try another way?!" Meera suggested suddenly not feeling well with the lady's dissatisfaction!

"What...another way?"

"He might be resting in his house! You could try going there!!"

"No! There's.... no need!" Aarohi denied nervously!

Meera stared her for a moment before a smile crept over her, "If that is what you wish!"

"But ...." she took out Deep's personal visiting card from her pocket, soon handing her, "Just in case!!" she tapped her hands with a smile!

"I have works pending! We sure will meet again!!"

Aarohi just nodded waving her hand and soon Meera left! While she stood there dazed again!

In her palm stayed the card! Should she go....or not?!

What if he isn't alone and she ends up making a fool of herself in front of his family?!

Her grip around the card tightened!

'Are you still worried about Tara?!'

'There never is a day where I wouldn't!'

Aarohi remembered their conversation! Deep was never the work avoiding one! Why didn't he come to work yet? And considering how Meera reacted, he wasn't even attending any meetings, then why?! Was he ill? Even if that was the case or the meeting otherwise, he wouldn't distance her! Would he?

Something was not right!!

With a heavy breath inhaled, she decided to go to his house! She just wanted to make sure if he was okay!

Tara and Aryan both woke up early in the morning! While Tara took much time with the bath, Aryan took a quick shower and came down! He saw Snoopy playing with the empty bowl of it's! With a smile he reached him! Crouching down he couldn't help but caress him! "You're awake already?!"

"Does that mean your mother is awake too?"

Snoopy barked low before going back to play with his bowl!

Aryan laughed amazed! He thought of arranging some milk for him but when he opened the refrigerator, he felt defeated! There were no much groceries and no milk left for Snoopy!

He sighed, they need to go out and purchase some groceries it seemed!

Yet he was glad that they still had some left and with the remaining one's he began to prepare the breakfast and wondered why wasn't Tara still coming out of her room!

As if his thoughts were spilled out, he saw her coming down! She looked distracted as she reached him! Without even greeting, she began to help him with whatever he was busy with! But that just halted him even more!

"What's bothering you now?!" he wondered!

She could hear the deep sigh in his statement, which almost seemed funny to her! What was not there to bother her? But for now..."Deep didn't mail me from past few days!"

Aryan nodded thoughtfully, "Do not forget that someone else's work is also being done by him!"

Tara stopped chopping the vegetables, giving him a glare which he often enjoyed! "Are you done?" she scoffed!

Aryan chuckled, he wanted to continue, she looked so distracted! But he didn't push any further!

"Let us go out after this!!" she said now looking away! Focusing back to her work!

Yes, he wanted to propose the idea as well, "Done!!"

Snoopy suddenly ran to her, licking her barefoot!

"He's hungry!" Aryan commented!

Tara looked down at him, for a moment, he seemed so adorable!

A smile tugged her lips, he wasn't doing it out of hunger! She was sure, he was playing with her!

A sigh welcomed, she didn't even take a nice care of him yesterday!

She just continued on her work while now Snoopy went to play with Aryan, almost disturbing him! She held back her laugh!

Suddenly a calling bell interrupted them! They both stared each other not knowing who would be the sudden guest!

When it ringed again, Tara sighed, "I'll see!" she said for which he shrugged! Washing her hands, she went ahead, opening the door, she was welcomed by the delivery man again!

Did this guy order something again?!

"Yes?"

"Is this Ms.Tara Nethin?" the person asked for which she gave a bare nod!

"Who's it?"

"It's from...." he looked at the parcel, "Deep Nethin!"

Deep?!

"Alright! Thanks!" she addressed after signing and taking the box along with the bouquet!

Deep never sent her flowers, but why now? Did he forget that she didn't like this all?!

When she was about to turn away, the guy spoke!

"It was too difficult to come here madam! The location is too hard to be found! I wonder why would you stay in such a place!!" he said taking a brief look at the castle which she knew he found haunted!

"Actually, that's none of your business!!" she said calmly, yet cold!

And even before he could react in anyway, she shut the door on his face!

The man was taken aback! "Crazy woman!!" he shrugged before leaving!

"Is it again?" Aryan wondered as she came in, being more wondered at the sight of her holding a bouquet of flowers! "Whoa! You now recieve flowers!!"

She rolled her eyes before reaching the dining table, placing everything she was holding, on the table! He followed her!

Aryan was about to take the flowers but she grabbed, "They're mine!!" she scoffed!

He looked at her as if she lost her mind! "Seriously!!" he shook his head before Snoopy joined as well! He lifted him up who now elegantly sat on the table while he went ahead to open the box!

Tara this time didn't stop him, rather she inhaled the scent of flowers! She liked it, but....also didn't like it!

This man might have gone crazy by sending her such stuff! Ah, he is in love after all!!

She shook her head before she saw Aryan taking out the box of cookies from it!

"I thought he would send the keys!!" Aryan shrugged!

Tara smiled, she thought so too, but they were her favourite! He didn't forget!!

Her father always used to buy these cookies for her!

"Seems delicious! Can I try?" Aryan snapped her thoughts!

Even before she could reply, the bell ringed again! She sighed again, who was it again?!

Tara gave him a nod to proceed! Keeping the flowers away, she went to open the door only to be welcomed by another delivery man!

"Ms.Tara?"

"Yes??"

"You have a delivery from Mr.Deep Nethin!"

She blinked, another?

What was happening?

She soon signed the paper before in front of him, she began to open it, which the guy found as impatience!

"You live far away miss! No wonder you recieve a lot of deliveries!" he said, "I just saw another delivery man on my way here!" he shrugged!

But Tara ignored his statements, "Thanks, you can leave!!" she said without even glancing up which he again found odd!

With a shrug he nodded, "Thank you madam!"

While the man left, she still was uncovering the box! As if she was really impatient, she tore the sheet apart!

She found the keys, and the same cookies! And a note!

'I guess you're doing well there without me! Ah, I envy! Your works bother me my sister!!

But, all why I am working on it is to have you in your better state! So take a good care of yourself!

Well, I shouldn't be bothering about it, should I? Instead, I should be bothering about YOUR MAN!!

Oh God, don't give such a punishment to any man on this world!!'

'Miss you Tara!!'

Her eyes were on the brink of tearing up! She missed him too, and her uncle!!

But, what about the another one?!

This really was from Deep! Then, who sent the other one?

Her eyes widened, and she rushed inside!
