Love In The Air (Part 2)

-Few Moments Ago-

Aarohi and Deep wore masks and lights were turned off! She kept looking into his sapphire eyes, and it came to her as a surprise when he winked at her, sneaking out of the main hall in the dark, taking her along, reaching the garden! They ran to the place and though she didn't know where and why was she going, she followed him, and when they reached the place, it was dark everywhere and a smile crept over her face along with curiosity as she looked up at him!

"Where....are we?" she asked, excited!

His hand still held hers, and he looked straight into her amber eyes, he smiled in dark, before his free hand rose, she heard him clicking a button, and within a second, the place was lit, she was in a garden! He put back the remote in his jacket as he kept observing her now among glowing lights, which still compared as less to him with her presence! While she looked around herself!

The whole garden was plain, with no much trees, perhaps a two or three, in corners, and they both stood just a few feet away from the fountain that had a lady statue standing at top, all in white holding candles! Though few lights were turned on, it was still dark, and the light, the main hall was emitting out, near, was the only source of light they had as an alternative! Those few trees present were decorated with lights giving a little more source of light.

While she admired the view, he admired her!

Aarohi turned to look at him, "What's it?!"

Deep gave a mysterious smile before he took her to the other side of the fountain, she followed him with a frown and when they reached, there was a see through jar covered with a silk cloth on the ground, and it was glowing in a strange way! Her frown deepened as he bent and took it, standing straight again, he held his hands out for her!

Aarohi was confused, "Deep?!"

He narrowed his eyes, indicating her to open it, she stared him for a brief moment before she brought herself to untie the knot that held the white silk cloth letting it cover the whole jar! Just as she undo it, the cloth slid down itself falling down, and soon many fireflies flew out of it! She was taken aback and her lips were widened with a smile! Soon the dark place was lit by those flies and she swirled slowly looking up, around! "How do you know I like them?!" she exclaimed without even looking at him! Her gaze was all focused on those fireflies, and the atmosphere looked awesome, for a brief moment she even got lost staring the sky, full of stars and a full moon?! That was when she realised it was a full moon day! Something felt strange and she turned around to face him, he just placed the jar down! Deep gave out a smile as he now looked up at her!

She shrugged, "Are you going to explain?!" she let out a chuckle!

Deep gave a nod, "Only if you are willing to close your eyes!"

Her brows furrowed, "But..."

His brows raised as he tilted his head, she stared into his eyes for a second before she sighed closing her eyes removing the mask, letting it fall down the ground! Aarohi though closing eyes tried to peek through her eyelashes, "No cheating!" Deep warned! She breathed before letting a sigh out and completely nodding to him, she shut her eyes tight, waiting for what was to happen!

Aarohi yet closed her eyes, she was hearing as now Deep started to speak!

"You know Aarohi! I never thought about having someone so close to me, in MY world! All till now was like, parents, studies, Tara, business and so on! Until I met you!"

A moment of silence got carried away!

"You might not know but the last two weeks were the best of my entire life! Cause I spent my every second on you and that strangely made me realise how cheesy, weird and nonsense I can be! Nobody called me names like you did and though trust me, I like it very much!"

Deep took notice of a tear that fell down her right closed eye while her lips curved up, and Aarohi heard him chuckle!

"You know just how crazy was I? Over you? And I still am, perhaps will always be!! And while thinking about me going crazy alone makes me go crazy!!"

This time it was she who chuckled!

"It's too strange and difficult to explain Aarohi!"

"If this makes me a pervert, then a pervert I am! And all what I have as a pervert is what I feel for you, and the only way I could find to define what I feel for you is...."

She heard him taking a deep breath and that made herself take a deep breath!

"I love you Aarohi!"

It took her a second as they both got carried away by silence, to open her eyes! And when she did slowly, she saw him kneeling, unconsciously making her step back! Deep knelt on one knee holding up a cornetto of blueberry in his right hand! He as well removed his mask! A chuckle escaped her mouth as a tear made it's way down her cheek again!

"I still can't define what I feel, as it's too deep, making me feel so much where I can't speak, cause trust me, talking might half murder my feelings!!"

"And if I can atleast put an ounce of what I feel for you under any well defined word, then....it would be love!!"

Aarohi smiled, "Do you feel the same way Aarohi?!" asked Deep genuinely!

She with a chuckle and a smile looked away for a brief moment blinking, probably restricting the tears to fall, she turned her gaze back to him before she nodded! "It's too crazy and this might even be considered being impulsive! But I can't help!!" she finally said out something, while her hand went to take the cornetto he held, making him stand immediately! "I love you too!" she raised her hand looking down at it, "For this!" she said with a smirk, peeling off the cover, licking the tip of the cornetto!

Deep pouted, "For that?" he pointed his finger towards it before pointing out himself, "And what about this?!"

She looked up with a smirk, and pretended to think for a second, "Love" she looked down the icecream, "Is for this!!"

"This!" she pointed it again before pointing herself, "Is for me!"

"And I am" she pointed her left hand now towards him, "For you!!" she smiled before tasting the dessert she was holding, again!

Deep breathed as he stepped forward, distancing the distance between them, his both hands now cupping her cheeks, "For me! Forever?!" he asked staring straight into her eyes! His sapphire gaze piercing her amber!

A moment seemed to pause as they stared each in the glow of fireflies flying around, she swallowed as she tried to look away but his palms that cupped her cheeks prevented her to do so as he insisted on her! "Forever!!" Aarohi said with an assuring nod as she now tasted the icecream once again, and looked up at him with a smile!

Deep smiled as well, "Do you like it?!"

Aarohi nodded, "It's sweet!"

Deep stared her for a moment before without hesitation he leaned in kissing her! It came by surprise for her as her eyes widened and her grip around the cone she held tightened!

Pulling himself back, Deep smiled, "Not sweeter than this!" he commented making her feel butterflies!

Aarohi stared him in silence, swallowing! She breathed deep before she gathered herself to speak up, "What about..... combining both?!"

Deep was taken aback while she tasted the dessert again, intentionally letting some of it's cream remain on her lips as she suddenly then tiptoed kissing him, closing her eyes. Deep was surprised by the initiative, he closed his eyes and her hands went behind him, resting on his shoulders while his hands now slid down resting on her waist!

As the couple kissed passionately!

Aarohi planted a kiss on his cheek after she pulled herself away! He smiled and hit her forehead with his gently! "This is the sweetest!!" he commented.

She chuckled and they now walked in the garden, he held her hand entwining their fingers while she continued to enjoy the icecream! In the dark, as there were only few fireflies flying around now!

"You planned it right?!" she suddenly asked!

Deep pretending to think, "Plan what?!"

Aarohi breathed, now throwing away the remaining last piece of paper, she held! "In the dark, under the full moon, an unexpected proposal!" she chuckled! "Was it Soumya?!"

Deep laughed, "Who else it could be?"

"Icecream was really unexpected!!" she chuckled!

"Well" she turned to face him and he stopped, "Why did you wish me to close my eyes?! I wanted to... see you!!"

Deep smiled, "Cause I didn't want you to just see or hear me! I wanted you to feel me! From here!!" he said, his right hand resting on his chest!

Aarohi smiled at it suddenly caressing his cheek, "When have you ever failed?"

"Not in my memory!" he said with a smirk and they laughed. Suddenly they could hear the noise from the main hall, they now knew the dance event ended!

"Gotta meet my parents!" he said out of blue! And soon Aarohi panicked, "Must I?!" she almost acted like a kid!

"You know, you don't have to impress anyone!" he repeated what she once said, "Anyone would be impressed just by seeing you!"

She rolled her eyes, and they decided to go back, just as they entered the main hall, they realised that the rest of them had already joined in the dining hall! He then decided to go there and that's when she held his coat pulling him back! He gave her a questioning look!

"What if they don't like me?!"

And his look now changed into a concerning one, before he caressed her hair, "To make it official, we need to! And I am sure my parent's will like what I like!!" he said with an assuring smile!

She breathed staring him! Nodding with a smile, she held his hand as they reached the dining hall! By the time they reached, his family was done having dinner!

Aarohi felt nervous as they reached the group that stood ahead! Tara was among them, and she beamed a smile as she saw her! Aarohi smiled nervously and Tara gave her an assuring nod, her gaze then shifted to the old couple! Deep's father, Mr.Arshad Nethin, was dressed in thick red suit with white in-shirt, wood leather shoes, stood there being a perfect example of a capable businessman! And beside stood his lovely wife, Rhys Nethin, dressed in rich green draped saree with a suitable silver sleeveless blouse, shining! Her hair left open which was now falling down her shoulders in curls! She looked awesome with her facial features being so perfect! Not only a beauty, but also a businesswoman! She heard a lot about this woman and half of the businesses that Arshad Nethin runs are owned by her, and this specific reason, her being so capable just as her husband, made Aarohi nervous!

She felt her heart pumping even more faster when they reached and their gaze was fixed on her after the lady asked Deep first! Was it the same way how Deep felt when she took him to her house and introduced?! Well he suffered it, and it's gone now, it was her who is present in this situation now and this made her even more nervous! The only relief was that he was beside!!

"Where were you?" Mrs.Nethin asked and her gaze then fixed on her. Aarohi's heart skipped a beat when the lady questioned about her! "And who is this beauty standing beside?!" she asked with a smile!

Deep and Aarohi stared each other hesitantly!

"Mother! Father! Meet Ms.Aarohi Carl!" he introduced and that seemed fine as an introduction as his parent's gaze fell on her and they nodded with a smile!

But what he said later didn't seem fine as that made her heart shift strangely inside and the gazes which were on her weren't helping much!

"The woman I love!!"
