54) Familiar faces

Poseidon Pov

I have planned to use myself as the summoning catalyst, essentially one can summon servants related to the person if that person was to use him or her as the summoning catalyst. Despite my being from a different verse, I did have met a variety of servants and had a great impact on them during my journey, so I can theoretically summon any servant I have met for enough time.

Other than that, using my Authority as Divine Spirit I will narrow down the list of summonable servants to ensure that I summon only the specific ones, that I have in mind. No normal servant can do this, only a top divine spirit like me can pull this off, similar to how Artemis forced herself to be summoned with Orion's spirit origin.

I started chanting," Let the silver and Iron be the...

Smoke rose up in the room as the figure of the servants summoned in the room become clear, I heard a voice," I ask of you are you my mast- Uh?! Lord Poseidon?!", gasped the femboy looking at me, then he looked around to find the similar faces much to his surprise." Well what is happening?", asked Atalanta frowning as her eyes glanced at a particular person.

" Haha, can't believe I am seeing you again Atalanta!!", said Achilles with a smile glancing at his crush, who grunted in displeasure. " Hey, Mister God, what's the meaning of this? Why you have summoned us- Eh?! Father?", said Mordred in disbelief as her eyes fell on the figure of her father, King Arthur. Her body trembled in shock as she glanced at her father, who had more changes than she would have ever thought, especially on her chest part, as her eyes almost bulged out seeing those humongous pieces of flesh.

I sat on my Throne glancing at everyone that I have summoned, most of them belonged to the world that I visited first after becoming a Divine Spirit, that is none other than Fate Apocrypha World. I remained silent watching the drama unfolding before my eyes with amusement. " E-Is that you, father?", asked Mordred gulping in nervousness and excitement.

Artoria replied in a cold voice," Indeed, it's me, my idiotic son", Mordred shuddered to hear such a cold voice from her father, which was laced with slight killing intent, even if her tone was cold, just the words that she heard filled up her with joy, after all, Artoria referred her as her son, something she had never done once alive.

The eyes of the other servants fell on the Jalter as well, who slowly approached me and stood beside the throne holding the Evil Flag," Is that you Jeanne? What's with that look though?", asked Astolfo, Jalter's face morphed into one of displeasure hearing that, and then she replied," I am not the one you are thinking of, I am a totally different version of her, and my name is Jalter! I am Lord Poseidon's confidant ".

" Is that so?", he asked tilting his head, then glancing at her with scrutinizing eyes, he said," Oh, you are right, unlike the Holy vibe Jeanne has got, you have got a totally opposite vibe of her, an evil vibe", she snorted and said," Well, it's better you understood that quickly", Mordred asked Artoria skeptically," Fath-Father what is with your current attire?".

She replied coldly," I became like this after you betrayed me", a pang of guilt hit Mordred's heart as she heard the accusation, then she replied," B-But I didn't want it to be like that! I- I just wanted you to recognize me as your son!", Artoria sneered and said," By betraying me, rallying my own army and knights against me and then killing me with your sword?"

Mordred's head lowered upon hearing that as she clenched her fists," I- I apologize for my actions, I know that what I have done is irreversible and unforgivable! That's why please separate my head as a punishment!", she knelt on one leg, and lowered her head closing her eyes accepting her fate. She wanted to be punished for the sins she had committed against her king and her father.

Artoria glanced at her with an emotionless face and then said," Stand up, Mordred, I do dislike you for what have you done, but it was me who didn't make things clear first... and I am what now, because of your mistake, so I won't punish you, but I won't forgive you either, you will have to earn my forgiveness."

Mordred hearing her words looked at her with determination and said," Don't worry, I will earn you forgiveness no matter what it takes!", after that she stood up. Then she glanced at me and then," Hey, Miste- Ouch", she wasn't able to complete her words as a fist landed on her head, Artoria glared at her and said," Refer My Liege with respect", Mordred rubbed her head and then looked at me in confusion.

Then she glanced at her father and then me, then Artoria and then me again, after she said," EH?!... Wait what's the meaning of thi-Ouch!", Artoria again hit her on the head and said," I won't repeat again, call Lord Poseidon with respect Mordred", her voice was cold and her current expression showed as if the previous conversation between them had never occurred in the first place.

"Okay", said Mordred accepting her Father's orders despite not knowing what is going on, the hall was filled with voice, and chatter of the summoned servants, a person came forward and clapped his hands garnering everyone's attention, then glancing at everyone he said," Please, everyone be quiet for a second", then he glanced at me and gave a small bow," Lord Poseidon, I would like to know what's happening and your reasons for summoning us".

I simply said," Jalter, explain it to them", she nodded and said," As you say, My Lord", then shifting her focus on the summoned servants she started explaining them everything to, about singularities, how the knights of the round table along with another King Arthur have appeared in this singularity and are committing atrocities, our goal is to simply gather the refugees and finish off the round table and their knights, and restore this singularity.

After Jalter finished explaining they understood the reasons for me, summoning them in this singularity as my servants. " Now introduce yourselves!", said Jalter, Chiron was the first one to reply," I am Archer-Class Servant, Chiron at your service, Lord Poseidon", next was the femboy," I am one of the twelve Paladins of Charlemagne, Astolfo! At your service, Lord Poseidon".

Achilles stepped forward after him, and said," The famous Greek Hero, Achilles, at your service, Lord Poseidon", Atalanta followed after him and said," Atalanta, Chaste Huntress, at your service, Lord Poseidon", Mordred stepped forward and said, "Well, The Strongest Knight of the Round Table, and the son of King Arthur, the rightful heir of England, Mordred Pendragon, at your service!".

Finally, my eyes landed on the last person who was behind everyone wearing a dark blue robe, she walked forward and said," Caster Class servant, Medea at your service", I gave a small nod and then said," Any questions?", Chiron nodded and asked me," Lord Poseidon, as Miss Jalter said, you intended to summon all the Greek Servants belonging to argonauts, so why Jason, especially Hercules is missing?"

Medea flinched and gritted her teeth on hearing the words Jason, then she said," Lord Poseidon, I would like to thank you for killing that bastard in the previous singularity when I was summoned as my younger self", everyone except Jalter and Artoria hearing that became surprised, I said," Well, Jason is a completely useless servant, and I have no liking for Hercules with what happened in the Great Holy Grail War".

He gave me an understanding look well aware of what had happened, Mordred raised her fists and said," Indeed, that cockroach bastard proved to be quite a hindrance back then to you", I nodded and then asked," Now, will you all assist me in my quest?", they nodded, " Well, we might be enemies back then, but right now you are our master, so it's only natural we assist you, right Atalanta?", said Achilles.

Atalanta glanced at me and said," Lord Poseidon, previously you have stopped me from getting the Holy Grail, but this time despite the fact I won't get the Holy Grail, it doesn't change the fact we will be saving children so I will assist you", Artoria frowned and said," If you don't want to help then say it, my Lord isn't requesting you, but asking you, and he can summon someone else in your stead if you don't want to assist him".

Atalanta became silent upon hearing that, Medea said," I have always disliked Gods, due to what happened with me, but you killed that bastard Jason when I was in my stupidest form possible, thus I will like to assist you best of my capabilities as to express my gratitude", I gave a small nod and then said," For now, you all take a round of the fort and the area around us, after that I will assign you all, your specific tasks that you all have to do".

They nodded, and Astolfo said excitedly," Woah! This is going to be quite exciting! Fighting alongside friends, only if Miss Jeanne were here, it would have been much better!", Jalter's eyes narrowed hearing that, my memory went to the figure of the girl that had confessed her love to me, I had met Jeanne again after Fate Apocyhpa's events but she was a totally different one, belonging to Grand Order Timeline.

I shook my head and then said glancing at them," Well, since now you all are here, under me, I name your group Neos Argonauts", hearing that all of them except Mordred had an excited look. After that, they came outside the fortress to see the paradise-like land they were quite surprised, admiration and awe appeared in their eyes towards me, as Jalter briefed them on how everything here was created by me on a barren desert.

3rd Pov

" Finally! A human settlement!", said Ritsuka relieved as he glanced towards the houses, Mash looked around the place, frowned, and said," Why is there no one present here?", Kiyohime, Hektor, and Da Vinci caught up with the weirdness as well, they started exploring the settlement and in the end find no one present in the place.

" It's an abandoned settlement", said Mash with apparent disappointment in her voice. Ritsuka sat on the ground and took the water bottle and started gulping down the water in his throat, he glanced at the orangish sky, which told how it was evening. After drinking the water, he looked at Da Vinci who glanced at the pieces of furniture with interest.

" Is there something the matter, Da Vinci Chan?", he asked her, she nodded and said," There are a good amount of scraps present here, there are even scraps of metal and other few things, I have got a nice idea which would make our traveling much easier!", hearing her words everyone became a bit excited.

" What idea?", asked Kiyohime, Da Vinci turned around, and her breasts swayed slightly much to the envy of the green-haired woman, Da Vinci said," If we can gather up enough scraps, no even with this much scraps I can make up a rideable vehicle!", Mash and everyone became excited hearing that, Ritsuka asked," Really?!".

Da Vinci nodded with pride oozing out of her and said," Hehe, don't underestimate me, a Universal genius Fuijimaru! If I have said something that I can do! Then that naturally means that I can do it!", Mash, Ristuka started clapping their hands. Kiyohime snorted and Hektor remained silent, still, he was slightly excited as he didn't like the prospect of crossing the huge desert on foot, despite being a high-ranking heroic spirit.

" Well, we should rest today here, and tomorrow you all will assist me to realize the idea that I have in my mind, then we will move towards the direction of the Kingdom of Jerusalem, where the main Citadel is located", Da Vinci said, everyone nodded agreeing with her words. Kiyohim quickly set up a campfire, and they started preparing food from raw ingredients.

Thankfully, Da Vinci modified Mash's shield long ago, so that it can Rayshift food items, medicines, and other necessary things. Thus they had no shortage of food and water, and do not have to fear running out of these necessary items. Thus after having a hearty dinner, they slept in the abandoned settlement.

(Author's Note: So how was the surprise? Feeling excited by meeting the familiar faces? I though I should include the servants he met in apocrypha atleast once more in this fic, and tadaah! Here is the result.
