Xian Zhen woke up with a start, feeling him wake up, Hong Liu sat up beside him and rubbed his back as he started coughing, it been a week since she started to give him soothing soup since he refuses to share anything or see the imperial physician. This was the only things she could do and every time she sees him like that her heart hurts, nothing was helping him. If this goes on, he would just wither away, the idea was enough to fill her heart with dread.

"Liu'er, its fine," He said and pat her shoulder reassuringly as his cough come in control. Why he is being like this? So stubborn.
Hong Liu grimaces at his discomfort.
"I will give you some water," She slides from the bed and took out some water from the earth jar by their side.
