Chapter 37

Harry then gets out with Luna after Madam Pomfrey permits them to go. She also tells him that she is not going to tell anyone about his condition unless he wants her to tell someone.

When they come out of the infirmary Harry decided to drop Luna first at Ravenclaw tower. He noticed that when he proposed that idea she instantly rejected it but he insist and after some time she gave up and allow him to come with her.

After some time they come in front of the Door where he leaves Luna.

"See you later, Luna."

"Ok, Harry"

Harry leaves the place as it is not good to stay there because the commonplace and getting into it is the biggest secret of the house which should not be disclosed to other houses.

After he leaves Luna in front of the gate he wears the cloak of invisibility so that no one is going to notice him. He then enters his room and sees that all others are sleeping which is good. He then went to the bathroom to get ready and went to the common room and wait for Neville and Hermione to get ready.

It takes only a couple of minutes until both of them come down and they went to lunch.

The day is pretty much plain as it is only the introduction lessons. Harry only focuses on the task Lady Death gave him and also on the weird tattoo on his hand.

Once the classes is over they went to the Room of Requirements with Susan, Daphne, and Tracey while Neville and Hannah went to the Library to spend some time together.

Hermione asked Harry instantly once they were in the room.

"What happen Harry? you are not focused at all in the classes and I can see that you are thinking about something. You know that you can tell us about anything we can try to help you."

"I know Hermione, I am just processing all the information."

He then starts to tell them about all the things that happen to him. All of them are shocked when he mentioned Deathly Hollow but the biggest reaction is from Daphne when he mentions black winged horse.

"Is the horse have a reptile-like face, a very skinny body, and bat-like wing?"

"Yes"

Harry replied with some shock as the description Daphne gave him matched the characteristics of the horse.

"That is Thestral."

When others hear that all of them are scared while he is looking at them, like why they are so scared and what is Thestral.

"Can anyone explain to me, why you all are scared?"

"Thestral is very dangerous and not even the experienced wizards can face them and on top of that only the person who sees the death can see them."

After he hears that, he knows why they are scared.

After that, it takes quite a time to process all the things, as they are now learned about the Hollows and are trying to find the place of the Gaunt ring and also observing the odd tattoo on his hand.

After some research, they found out that Gaunt is also an Ancient house like the house of Peverell so they sent a letter to the Gringotts to know if they have possession of it or have an idea where they can find it. It is Tracey's idea as to when they found out that it is extinct and the ring should be teleported to the Gringotts and waited for the next lord to claim it.

After that, they started to look through many books to find out about the tattoo but found nothing except a single clue that the red wing is the phoenix wing but they don't know what it means and why it is only half, and what is the other half black wing.

Once they are unable to find anything Harry suggested that it is too much for today and they should relax a bit.
