Ch 47

Two decades have already passed, though for Citizens of Oziran. It is like a month at most.

Surrounding the islands of Oziran. There are multiple phantasmal species both that can fly and walk. The Estimated count of these beasts is in the millions.

The warriors from all Islands stood on the ground facing them.

A visible barrier is separating them from the beasts.

There are 34 different groups of warriors with a commander for each group.

Their numbers are at best 1000 warriors.

One of the Commanders asked through the communication device "Great Magician Cael, what's the status of the Barrier?"

"It will be down in a few more clicks. I am ready to cast the Barrier whenever the Magic artifact is down. I can handle the Air defense" Cael answered while drawing a magic circle on the ground.

The spatial barrier he used previously is like a One Time Item that can be used for a set time. And Its time is almost up. The barrier weakened severely allowing the phantasmal beast to see them but they still couldn't attack them.

Cael seeing such a weird scene thought 'It still amazes me how unbelievably strong these beings are'

"Clock"

With Cael's spell, a Giant green clock formed in front of the commander.

"Everyone, the moment the color of the clock changes. The barrier will go down from the top. Look out for Aerial phantasms"

The Warriors and Commanders prepared their best magical attacks in their stances.

Elves with Bows pointed them at Air, while the melee weapon users stood at the frontlines.

Zidikle activated her stand looking menacingly at the beasts.

'Their strategy is rather simple. Seeing how there are not much of Hardships here, it makes sense' Cael thought, meanwhile, he completed drawing magic circles.

The Clock turned red, The Commanders of Aerial troops shouted "Everyone!! Shoot!!!"

The Aerial Phantasmal species also charged from the top directly toward the troops but they are ripped through threads by the magical arrows.

" Protect the Islands

O great spirit of Isles."

The magic circles activated as a secondary dome formed around the Islands completely covering it.

The initial barrier also broke down completely.

"Charge!!!" The commanders of Melee's troops shouted.

The Entire battlefield became a Frenzy zone of Murder as the rest of the phantasmal beasts charged toward the melee troops.

Zidikle blitzed into the depths of the beasts' horde. She caved her armored fists into the heads of demon beasts.

Just as she's thinking she is smashing them down too easily.

A huge tornado appeared as a purple beast roared from a long distance.

Zidikle's stand held her to the ground, the weak beasts got swallowed by the tornado.

"Boost! Activate!" A circuit-like pattern formed on her leg armor and she jumped towards the beast instantly.

Just as she's above the beast's head, She chanted "Boost! Accelerate! "

Zidikle rapidly descended into the beast's head smashing its face on the land forming a crater.

Another Horde of beasts surrounded her. Zidikle only smiled standing menacingly.

"Ah~, I feel so alive~"

Her demonic golden eyes glowed, as she punched through the beasts from the front while her stand destroyed the beasts on her back killing hundreds of beasts at a time.

While Zidikle is going on a Rampage.

The Archers of Oziran are killing the beasts from the distance.

Cael warned the commanders "Commanders! Cover the Ground beasts. I can sense their numbers are rising at an alarming rate. Oziran is absolutely safe with my barrier, The Magicians will take off Aerial enemies"

"""""Got it! Everyone, target the beasts on the ground!""""""

The commanders agreed instantly as they all believed in Cael.

Cael also ordered the magicians flying around the Islands.

"Magicians! It's time for you to show your skills! This is an Order! Attack every Aerial beast on the battlefield. You have an advantage, our enemies don't. Only Your spells and attacks will pass through the barrier, not the other way around! So, Attack with all your might!"

Oziran considers Magicians as defensive units, and warriors as offensive units.

So, Magicians are cowardly most of the time, they don't wish to go to the battlefield. So, Cael decided to prioritize their safety to make them give it all in their fight.

Seeing the Aerial Units fall, the morale of warriors increased.

The only troublesome beings are behemoths, leviathans, and other beasts that can do elemental attacks.

The first causality occurred In one of the ranged troops.

The beast's numbers didn't appear to dwindle at all.

"What's happening? Why are there so many beasts?"

"We should have already killed a million by no-Argh!!!"

"The number of beasts increased twofold!"

The warrior morale dropped as they found the oddity. Their casualties have already increased to 50 and increasing.

The battlefield is filled with Typhoons, Lava rains, blizzards, thunders, floods, etc. The abilities demonstrated by the beasts are making the terrain a living hell.

The casualties began to increase on the Warrior's side. Only Magicians are safe and are actively protecting the warriors decreasing the casualties.

At that time, A magician in a purple robe warped into a large figure in the sky.

"Even after seeing my overwhelming might? Won't you still submit to me?"

Some of the Warriors recognized him.

"It really is Haleth!"

"No! We won't! I swear on my honor as a warrior"

The Magician looked as if he expected it and said "Warriors are just meat heads, I will let you understand true dread..."

Everyone including the beasts froze in the place.

A huge symbol formed across the sky, the magical energy gathered around the circle, and then the area began to drown in the darkness as everything the touched vanished from existence.

But then,

"Your Mastery over space is incredible. I must admit, if not for my Clairvoyance, I would've thought you can control time"

Cael put his hand in the air, a  clock symbol appeared in the air

"Logic craft: Reversal"



Time reversed across the area. Everything returned to the point when Haleth just appeared.

"Warriors! Your work is done! Now, it's my time to repay you"

Cael opened his wings, warped the warriors to the islands, and at the same time locked the space just like Haleth did not allowing the beasts or Haleth to move. Health is trying to resist it.

A portal opened up above his head, he raised his hand activating his jewel of eternal flames.

"Incinerate"

A huge burst of white flames hot enough to melt the surroundings entered the portal from his hand.

Multiple large portals formed in the sky surrounding Oziran, Bright white flames descended from them burning everything to nothingness.

The only thing that stayed alive is Haleth.

He regenerated from a fleshy goop substance forming his Gigantic body. He also free'd himself from Cael's ability.

"I didn't know Elves like you that would destroy everyone just to save one"

"You knew my plan?" Haleth exclaimed.

"It's not exactly yours, it is his. Isn't it, Octopussy? Long time no see"

Haleth's face dismorphed as tentacles formed on one side of his face and roared

"It's you!! You are the cause of my state! I will sacrifice you to my Diety, just you wait!!"

"Haha! That's some Voldermort-level stuff" He laughed at the Mindflayer.

Cael is aware of everything due to the Eye of Enlightenment.

The Mindflayer that he sealed in the 'Reality' in U.S.A is a projection of sorts. The true body is on the reverse side of the world.

The Mindflayer's true body weakened severely after its projection is destroyed by the Gniwrevlis Family.

Then, it occupied the body of Haleth. It may be weak and couldn't use Haleth's magic but it is strong enough to have control of Haleth's body.

It plans to use the light of Alakazam and the life force of the dead beasts and warriors to tear open a way to Reality.

However, the mind flayer convinced  Haleth that he would kill everyone as a sacrifice to God. He would spare Haleth's lover if he cooperated.

Hence, Haleth cooperated with the Mind Flayer not knowing its true plan.

"Are you aware that you are exhausting your soul by cooperating with that Octopussy?"

Cael asked Haleth curiously. He didn't plan to explain the true purpose to Haleth, it's just a waste of time in his opinion.

"I know, but I have my reasons. You spied on us, didn't you? You should know my reasons"

"It's just my passive Clairvoyance"

"Why are you fighting though? These people are strangers to you. I can tell it, you are not a good soul"

"When it comes to Magic, my policy is Equivalent Exchange. They gave me a lot, the things I learned here transcend everything I know until now. So, it's only fair to pay them back"

Cael summoned his Visionary of Moon.

"Let's end this quickly"
