Girls Talk And Heaven

"Your room is beautiful, Lady Gabriel. It's so nice of you to invite me here."

Artemis said as she glanced at the room of Gabriel.

It was massive, befitting of a queen. With curtains and pillars, it gave a majestic feeling. The natural light seem to illuminate the room and the bed she was sitting on was the comfiest bed she had ever felt.

"I was told that you want to talk to me so I had to invite you here, Lady Artemis."

Gabriel said as she signaled one of her servants to offer her some refreshment which the moon goddess rejected politely.

"I... I wanted to ask did you ever fall in love, Lady Gabriel?"

Artemis asked trying to figure out if the seraph was in the race or not.

"Love?"

Gabriel was confused by such a question from one of the virgin goddesses of the Greek pantheon.

"Having such a strong desire for someone that you can't do anything else properly."

Artemis replied trying her best to describe the feeling she was experiencing.

"Hmm... I don't know..."

Gabriel replied. Upon hearing the word 'Love', she don't know why but Karna's face came into her mind.

But did she love him? She loves everyone. From a small ant to the magnificent sun. Like her creator, her father, The God of the Bible, who told her to spread love how could she hate anyone?

But something in her heart told her that this 'love' towards Karna wasn't like others.

'Ah... she's not in the race.'

Meanwhile, Artemis was slightly happy, as Gabriel's answer solidify that she didn't feel the same way for Karna as she was feeling.

"Though, Goddess of Chastity, do you feel like that for someone? Love?"

Gabriel asked being very curious about who could steal the goddess's heart who got an image of an asexual goddess.

"Well... since I met Karna, I can't get him out of my thoughts. I have been thinking about him most of the day."

Artemis replied feeling that she can now open up to Gabriel more as she wasn't interested in Karna.

But that was just her misunderstanding...

"Lord Karna? If he's the one you fell in love with then I'm not surprised."

Gabriel replied while Artemis felt a tint of happiness that someone like her was praising Karna.

"I don't know but... I also feel something when I think about him. I have never seen someone with such a pure heart."

Gabriel replied finishing her previous uncompleted sentence.

'Oh no... she's back in the race...'

Artemis thought.

"So are you intending to propose to him?"

Artemis asked curiously how will Gabriel approach him with her feelings.

"I don't think it will be a good course of action. I can never fully commit to him as I will fall if I have impure thoughts about him. It's no good for Lord Karna to waste time on a woman who can't even give her completely to the man she loves."

Gabriel replied.

"Umm... Even if you fall, I think Karna will accept you."

Artemis said. She can't imagine that Karna will leave her because she's not a pure holy angel anymore.

"But will he allow me to fall because of him?"

Gabriel asked making Artemis silent as both the women knew the answer.

It's such a complicated situation for the angel. She just had to live with a soft feeling in her heart for Karna and not be able to act on it.

'If I could help her I would've.'

Even Artemis felt pity for her. But she didn't have the luxury to think about others when the sun god had just ruined her.

"I'm sorry to hear that. But if you were in my place how would you approach Karna?"

Artemis asked in hopes of getting a piece of advice.

"Me? I'll request him to marry me. If he also feels the same for you he will accept."

Gabriel answered with a straight face.

Artemis was shocked. It can't be that simple. No seduction? No courting? What if she gets rejected because he doesn't find her attractive?

'I guess I should have just asked Aphrodite how to seduce him. The angels don't sleep with each other before marriage, so it's obvious that she advised like that.'

She could just smile with her answer.

"Thank you, Lady Gabriel, for giving me advice. I see what can I do."

Artemis replied and stood up as she was ready to go back and take more of the seraph's time.

"Going already? Lady Artemis, I heard Karna will be visiting heaven. I think it's a good opportunity to propose to him."

Gabriel said trying her best to help the virgin goddess.

"What? He's coming here? Then... Lady Gabriel, if you don't mind can I stay in Heaven for a few more days?"

Artemis instantly changed her plans upon hearing Gabriel's words. But what about asking for Aphrodite's advice? Fuck it, she can do that later.

"Sure, you can stay here, Lady Artemis."

Gabriel replied with a smile.

She wants to help Artemis fulfill the same desire that she can't. She believed that Artemis was a great woman, deserving of Karna.

Karna's vimana stopped at the gates of heaven.

It looked made of simple stones but Karna could feel that it would require his full power to destroy this gate. But it wasn't necessary today as he was a guest here not an intruder.

The angel guards saw Karna and immediately identified him. They were told in advance that a man with divine beauty in a golden plane would be visiting heaven.

"Immediately inform Lady Gabriel that her guest had arrived."

The head guard screamed at two other guards who immediately contacted Gabriel's palace.

"My lord, could you please be kind enough to wait? Lady Gabriel personally wanted to receive you."

The head guard bowed in front of Karna and asked.

Karna nodded in agreed and continued sitting on the throne, observing the heavens.

It was like seven cities arranged in a form of a tower on clouds. He could see several angels flying around the tower, possibly to protect it from any intruder.

While he was observing, Gabriel materialized at the gate of Heaven and walked to the vimana.

"I apologize, Lord Karna, for making you wait."

Gabriel gave a slight bow and apologized. Even the guards were surprised as to who could the man be that could make the most popular seraph bow.

"Please don't embarrass me, Lady Gabriel, it's nothing. You do not need to apologize."

Karna said as he stepped down from the vimana before it disappeared.

"Instead I should thank you for accepting to meet me on my request."

Karna added with a smile.

'How polite.'

Gabriel said in her mind.

"Please come with me to my residence so we can talk."

Gabriel said and led him. They walked inside the gate and Karna was greeted by the sight of a large city of angels.

"This is the first heaven where most of the angels live. It's a nice place, I visit here often."

Gabriel said and extended her hand to the sun god.

"Please hold my hand so we can fly."

Even though Karna was a god he couldn't fly on his own. Neither he had wings like angels nor he knew magic that could allow him to fly. And at this moment, he decided that he need to learn to fly.

But right now, he held the soft pale hand of the most beautiful angel.

Gabriel got a slight blush once her skin came in contact with his. If it was a normal angel, she would have fallen in an instant but her self-control was legendary.

She brought out her twelve wings and began to slowly fly so Karna won't feel unformattable.

Karna felt like instead of flying he was hovering with the seraph which he greatly enjoyed.

The view of the city from the top was heavenly. Angels with their halos and white wings were going on with their daily lives without a care in the world.

Once they reached the center of the city, Gabriel along with Karna flew up passing through a portal and reaching the next floor of heaven.

"Second heaven, it's a prison for sinners."

Gabriel said with a grim expression.

It was clear to Karna that she didn't like this place as it was filled with pain and screams.

In a couple of minutes, they passed through another portal.

"Third heaven, it is the largest part of heaven. Those who believe in our faith and who had committed good deeds, enjoy their fruits on this floor."

Gabriel said with a smile.

Karna could see that people on this floor were dancing, singing, eating, drinking, and enjoying themselves to the fullest. An ideal place for a mortal.

"Fourth Heaven, it houses the Tree of Wisdom and here the famous story of Adam and Eve took place."

Gabriel said after passing through another portal and reaching the fourth floor.

Karna had read about the story. It is from here the birth of mankind happened according to the Abrahamic religion.

There was nothing much to see so Gabriel flew Karna to another floor.

"The Fifth Heaven, you can see it a floor where research happens."

Gabriel said.

Karna could see a lot of laboratories and people who look like scientists and inventors filled with knowledge.

Once Karna finished looking around, both of them entered the sixth floor.

Karna saw a total of ten palaces or castles on this floor. Some are larger and more beautiful than others.

"It's here where all the Seraphs live including me. Let's go to my home, there's also someone you will like to meet."

Gabriel said cheerfully and led Karna to one of the palaces.
