The biggest question at the end of the day is, will the past Change? ————————— Before you read, I have two tiny warnings to give. If you hate it when ANY kind of nerf happens to the main character and any side characters, then you probably don’t want to read this. And if you hate it when characters make somewhat obvious mistakes in the heat of the moment, then again, this book is not for you. I do not own anything except my OC. chapter 9

Several days later two people could be seen sparing. The bright flashes and resounding clashes of swords filled the area. On one side lay the king of Britain wielding Caliburn, the sword of assured victory, and on the other side was a red robed knight wielding Arcane, the sword of the mystery.

Whenever Artoria fed her ode or the surrounding mana into Caliburn it would be converted into heat values, this would allow Artoria to melt anything not resistant to it in its path. Arcane was a sword that worked on the unexplainable, the mysteries of the world.

Whenever Sirius fed magical energy into Arcane it would build up and when he incanted Arcane's name, it would allow him to spawn a limited reality marble around him that would make the area similar to that of the Earth during the Age of Gods.

Allowing him ,if he had enough mana left, to use its other ability which was to cut the explainable with the unexplainable in the zone as the zone weakens anything that's related to 'physics'. If he didn't activate the zone first then it would instead switch the ability to allow him to cut the unexplainable with the explainable.

However the amount of ode and or mana needed to activate any of this was...Astronomical and something Sirius didn't have right now. Not to mention Arcane couldn't take the incantations back to back or else it would break.

[A/N - Pretty cool idea or is it bad?]

Artoria was in the same boat with Caliburn as if she incanted its name once then it would break upon converting Artorias magical energy, which it couldn't withstand.

Sirius swung upwards making Artoria lose her balance for a brief moment which Sirius used to angle his sword down an attempt to end it by slashing at her neck. But Artoria surprised him falling faster and then hand standing thrusting her her arm downwards so that she would be launched into the air and gain distance between the two.

The two were neck and neck but Sirius had yet to use his magic and Artoria had yet to have Caliburn heat up. Though once they did that the field they were sparring in would....break...literally...

Merlin arrived and interrupted the two and alerted them that they had to pack up and begin the journey to rebuild Britain. This would take time, so they first had to journey around Britain building up their allies and building relationships with the local lords and lady's.

one year later after Artoria pulled Caliburn.....

Around a wooden table sat Artoria, Kay, Bediever, and Gawain while Sirius and Merlin stood behind them as Artorias advisors. They were getting the local lords loyalty against Vortigern, however the lord had a different objective at the time.

"So you are saying that as long as we deal with the local encampment of bandits being supplied by the crown you will give us your loyalty?" The lord nodded.

"You are also aware of the fact that they have at least five hundred well equipped bandits that may or may not have basic training." The lord nodded again, a little annoyed.

"One more thing. You are aware they have five wyverns right?"

The lord, instead of nodding responded back to Sirius' incessant questioning. "Will you do it or not? I thought that the one to pull the sword from the stone would be the prophesized king of Britain? Are telling me you can't get rid of a measly bandit group?"

Sirius snorted. "You are telling us to do this with just our band and that we can't use any of your soldiers, this whole attack won't be possible without at least a five hundred soldiers. Not to mention that five hundred bandits and five wyverns sit behind a well fortified fortress."

Artoria raised her hand at Sirius, stopping him for a moment. "Lord Alder, we can do this if you give us two dozen archers and swear loyalty to me right now as rightful king of the Britain's."

Alder thought for a moment before agreeing to the terms. Though Sirius was a bit miffed from the whole ordeal and the fact that they would be VASTLY outnumbered. When they made back to their camp they found Morgan Le Fay sitting in the main tent with the lords and knights they had been able to rally together in the last year.

This still brought their numbers to around four hundred and twenty four soldiers counting the archers Alder was suppling them. Morgan looked at her half sister to get informed on the situation as well as the lords accompanying them.

Then Merlin shot a look at Sirius as if he had a sudden epiphany. Sirius did not have a good feeling for whatever this bastard was about to say. "Sirius, how do you feel about heights?"

"Fuck no." Merlin however still grinned widely at this comment. Then he turned to everyone that was focusing on their conversation.

"Sirius along with his majesty can lure away the wyverns that plague the keep, while the rest of us raid the fortress. I can open a hole in the wall allowing our soldiers to charge through, handling the bandits."

He turned to Artoria who nodded at the plan that Merlin gave. The rest of the lords seeing their king give 'his' approval agreed, Sirius was the only one who was aggrieved at what was happening and Kay was too busy hiding his snickering at Sirius' current predicament. Bediever patted Sirius on the in assurance that everything was going to be alright.

After the meeting was over Sirius and Morgan left the tent to talk about the next few years of planning they had been preparing for the past month. Merlin trusted Sirius to make a plan to get the various lords and ladies to Artorias side as quickly as possible.

"It's just so bizarre that Vortigern would even supply bandits with anything to begin with. He betrayed Uther Pendragon because of the throne and when he attains it he throws it away! I refuse to believe that the information we got was correct it must of been falsified or something!"

Morgan side glanced at Sirius as they walked. "Are you saying that someone in our midst is a traitor?"

Sirius turned to Morgan seriously. "Do not, and I repeat. Do. Not. Say that in front of anyone. Do you understand me?" To which Morgan nodded.

"You may be his majesty's sister but if you sprout off things that will make distrust grow within the group, I will cut you down where you stand, am I clear Morgan Le Fay?"

"Yes, Lord Sirius, I understand." Sirius nodded and left to his tent to get some sleep for the coming battle.

Morgan sat in that clearing, her expression, her personality, changing from the scared little girl to the nasty witch. "You think you can order ME, you are but a measly advisor to a false king! The ground upon which I walk should be worshipped by you!"

Then she turned to her tent scheming. "Watch your back Sirius Wilhelm, for your days are numbered."

After a goods nights sleep Artorias army marched to the keep with Sirius, Artoria, Bedivere, Gawain, and Merlin in the front.

If Sirius was worried now he was even more so now that he actually saw the damn thing. The only things he has done that could even be remotely as bad as this would charging into a bandit camp solo.

Now he is charging into a fortress with one other person to help him with wyverns, fucking wyverns. He could feel that today was going to be a BAD day.
