Huanghua Pavilion: Linley

Arriving in front of the tall three-story pavilion in front of them, Lionel and Morgiana were both amazed at the sight of an extremely tall building covered with different kinds of flowers but are all yellow in color.

The two of them entered the pavilion, even though it was still seven in the morning and can already be said to be quite early, the pavilion was already packed with people or students to be more exact.

And when they entered, the two of them were then immediately affected by the atmosphere around them.

Happiness.

That was what they felt when they entered the pavilion. Not only that, they can see that almost everyone in the pavilion are so friendly with each other and were all smiling. There was no one that can be seen to be gloomy looking or emotionless. Even Lionel was affected and his face can't help but form a smile on his face. Luckily though that he was wearing a mask that no one can see him.

Morgiana "Nel."

Morgiana pulled Lionel's coat, he then turns to look at her and asked.

Lionel "What is is Morj?"

Morgiana "I feel happy."

Lionel "Me too. It must have something to do with the flowers."

Lionel said as he looked around and can see flowers, hanging at the ceiling, or at the walls. There were even some flowers at the corners and on the tables.

The color on the walls was a healthy green while the floor was in light yellow with white stripes. The author will just then leave the imagination to you guys since he is really lazy at describing it just think of it as a very beautiful building.

Morgiana "Flowers? Huanghua means Yellow Flowers right? Is that the reason why the flowers are all yellow? But what does it have to do with the people being very happy?"

Lionel "Yellow flowers burst with happiness. They symbolize the bonds of friendship, the taste of success and pride. Joy is also one of the meanings of this flower, as that is one of the feelings the color is said to evoke."

Morgiana "So it is the flower then?"

Lionel "Not really. They are using some kind of potion that calms the mind and remove any negative thoughts which only leaves the positive thoughts which results in a happy thought."

That was not really the truth since no one is capable of making that kind of potion, the only explanation is that they are using a spell that calms the mind. But Lionel decided not to tell her about it since it is a very complicated thing to talk about. Knowing that it might be very hard to cast this spell and would probably require the aid of a saint-level magus or even a deity.

Morgiana "Enough with the explanations and let's just eat. I'm so hungry I could eat a whole pig."

Lionel "Okay. Let's go and we will proceed to class later on."

The two of them had their breakfast in the Huanghua Pavillion and since the others are busy with their own things, they didn't notice that a princess had entered the pavilion. Although the staff saw her, they professionally avoided yelling her name to avoid inconvenience.

That is why they were able to enjoy their breakfast without any disturbance since they are also in a private room.

{Lionel's POV}

After I arrived at my dorm which is Dorm 1987, I was happy to announce that I made such great friends since we really hit it off right in an instant. I don't even know how we became friends so fast but I am glad that we became one.

We then went out and talked about the things that interest us and one of our topics that really brought life to our conversation was about the princess from the Fanalis Empire studying here at Ernst Institute.

Then I remembered that white-haired boy from before, I can still remember how I feel when he appeared. It was like he can see through everything and Grandpa Doehring even had to hide in the ring since he was also not sure how powerful the boy was.

I just stayed silent as my three bros, Yale, Renolds, and George talked about the princess enthusiastically. And they were all talking about how beautiful she was and how hot she would become when she grew up.

Although we already knew that the Fanalis Empire never married their direct descendants to other kingdoms but to an unknown organization. But I knew what that organization's name is as Grandpa Doehring told me.

The organization behind the Fanalis Empire is known as the Tempest League of the Phantoms. Grandpa Doehring encountered one of their members and gave him a really hard fight even though Grandpa Doehring was still able to kill him at the end, he was very exhausted after the fight and he was already wearing the Worldring or the Coiling Dragon now.

Then the one I was waiting to hear was then mentioned by Yale, about the white-haired boy whose name was Lionel Fortis. According to Yale, Lionel was the princess' personal bodyguard and it is rumored that he was already a sixth rank warrior and with the result of his magus test he was proclaimed as the - White Demon.

I also found out that Lionel also held other titles which are the Black Swordsman and Dark Demon. All his titles are really domineering especially the ones with the Demon word on it.

He is really amazing and I can't help but admire him, he seems to be at the same age as me but he was a lot stronger than me. I wonder what did he have to go through before he reached that level?

This only fueled me to work harder even more and I promised to myself that I would surpass him someday. Grandpa Doehring said that although it would be hard, he said that I might be able to surpass him if I work hard enough.

I am not expecting he won't work hard but I would work even harder than him. For my Family, I will do everything that I can.
