John Palmer’s disturbing laugh echoes the place. As if revealing all those things is something to celebrate about.
“Why did you do this? Don’t you know how much every crew has sacrificed just to find that stupid Gem?!” She partly yells.
“I know. I’ve always known,” He smirks. “I’ve been watching, Vaughn,”
The feeling of irritation, alongside her anger, has once again clouded her mind and thoughts. All of the sacrifices her crew made came flashing back at her like a reminiscing memory.
“I did a great job in keeping things in line, right?” As proud as a father that just heard his first born say their first word, John stood there tall and proud.
“Are you dumb? That’s not something to be proud of,” In her sarcastic voice and judging looks, Vaughn speaks.
In a speed motion, the cocking sound of John’s gun was heard. The next thing they know, John has his gun pointed at Vaughn’s forehead, “What the hell did you just call me?”
