Tiffany was caught off guard at what Lincoln have told her. Their eyes were glued onto each other while her brain was trying to process everything thoroughly. Her grip on the key tightened.
"What did you just say?" She asked in confusion.
The man's words were clear and audible enough but she wanted to hear those again. She just wanted to make sure that her ears were not betraying her. It was always better to be sure than sorry.
Lincoln took a deep breath and then finally let go of the handle. He was just about to close the door when Tiffany pushed it back open and hurriedly got out of the car. Her amber eyes were scanning his whole being as if judging him by the statement he ever so casually said.
"You wanted me to stay with you? Under the same roof?" She started to interrogate him. Her back hit the car as she kept a reasonable distance between the two of them.
